'In the top 5 unconditionally'

The final stage of the PGA Tour qualifying school will be held at the Sograss Country Club (par 70, 7,054 yards) and the Sograss Dice Valley Course (par 70, 6,850 yards) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, for four days from Friday (local time). The qualifying competition for participation in the 2024 PGA Tour is up for grabs.

It is the first time in 11 years that a regular tour seed will be immediately awarded through the Q School since 2012. Up until now, top contenders of the Conferry (part 2) tour have made inroads into the PGA Tour.

The door to the PGA Tour directly through Q School is still narrow. 168 people participate in the event and two rounds are played in two courses each. There is no cutoff. Only when the top five players (including joint ranking) are ranked, can they participate in the PGA Tour next year. The top 40 players will participate in the Conferry tour. The top 25 out of 40 players will be guaranteed to participate in 12 competitions, while the rest of the players will be eligible to participate in eight competitions.

Kang Sung-hoon, Noh Seung-yeol, and Cho Sung-woo were on the Korean list. Kang Sung-hoon won the title at the 2019 AT&T Byron Nelson and Noh Seung-yeol at the Zurich Classic in 2014, but he is trying to make a turnaround through the Q School as he has failed to produce any significant results recently. Cho will knock on the door of the PGA Tour as the winner of this year's Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Korean Tour.
