- using v6.12.1-Kirlif’ (we are expecting it to be OK) –> But in this case the article is only partially visible = the first two paragraphs only (followed by comments, "gift article", author). Thus in essence the article cannot be read:
with the purpose of exploring more of what's happening, let's compare with mod-Balatan, WaPo-v6.16.
The result: the same article can now be read in full:

* Should be obvious, right, the comparison is not here to recommend anyone’s mods/works but for the sole sake of potential troubleshooting.
I personally (and again obviously) enjoy the releases-Kirlif’ (The Guardian, WaPo, dictionaries, Smart AudioBook Player, QuickEdit, QR Scanner, …).
This time however, the WaPo looks messy on my end, both versions 6.12.1 and 6.16, in seemingly different visible aspects. Which simply happens sometimes.
I've given three examples, noticed more.
