This group builds upon the experience of similar groups in a number of cities in Iran and Northern Iraq.
It is an initiative lead mainly by people dedicated to sheikh Hassan Hashemi.
The aim of these groups is to bring people together who encourage each others to collect or give funding with which locally supplies are bought that are next distributed to needy families.
Donations, own or collected ones, can be made anonymous or announced as a pledge.
