Phase Forty-Three: Village of the Damned

After the events of this Saturday, I'm letting most competitors recover, rest, take a break and relax from the brutality they were a part of. At least for now, but that doesn't mean that they'll be getting much more of this... Kind of consideration. Anyway, on to the show, people. No rest for the wicked.
UIC Pavilion
Pavor Nox vs Charlie Morgan (With Fire Ant)

Both competitors set for the evening had suffered recent losses, both coming into the evening without a point between them. Charlie Morgan came to the stage, Fire Ant entering beside her. She gave him a self-assured smile and a quick fist bump, silently telling him she'd make him proud. She ran down the ramp and entered ready to fight. The ant followed her, moving closer to the corner where she stood as Placebo's Protege Moi began to play slow and melodic. The lights dimmed down to almost black and a small figure walked forward down the ramp his movements stagnated and uncomfortable.
Every light just above the ramp went pitch black. Every light flickered to darkness in the building for only a handful of moments. When the light found the ring again, the doll was gone and Pavor Nox was perched in a crouch on the top rope only long enough to jump down his boots making a thud loud enough for the entire crowd to hear. He loomed over his opponent who didn't look phased by his appearance or stunts.
Most would be unable to hear him say "You still have a lot to lose." seconds before the bell rang and she hit him hard with a forearm to the diaphragm. The fight was vicious and Charlie let Pavor have it for the first few minutes. Soon, however, he seemed to have memorized her movements and every time she tried to get near him he tossed her out of his way with an arm drag or just threw her aside like she weighed nothing.
Everytime Fire Ant moved like he wanted to interfere Pavor looked amused, laughing jarringly loud when the energetic insectoid grappler stuck a boot between the ropes, almost entering. Charlie stopped him from interfering and took to the ropes, hitting the fear monger with one high flying move after the next. It looked like she was about to put him away with a picture perfect moonsault but the lights flickered, playing tricks. To the untrained eye it looked like he'd gone invisible, or were there two of him. From out of the shadows one of his long legs swept both of hers from beneath her. He picked her up, lifting her hard then dropping her with Acrophobia, covering the stunned fighter for a three count.
Fire Ant started to stomp his way into the ring but Pavor grabbed Charlie's braids, yanking them high in the front almost like her mentor's antennae in a motion at Fire Ant. She fought him back but it was like Pavor couldn't feel her struggles as Fire went still. Pavor laughed loudly and rolled out of the ring shoving her down just as the ant was about to fight him himself. He found his doll half wrapped in the ring's apron skirt and led him out as Fire helped Charlie to her feet, eventually leading her out to the cheers of the crowd.
Chris Cadwell vs "Killer" Kelly

Chris Cadwell had been holding on to his three points since before he left for TWA, but now he'd returned with renewed optimism and he was going to get a fourth point before going headfirst against Allysin Kay for the PCW Championship.
The stakes were high for both of them, but Kelly's losing streak ended now and it ended with a victory over a title shot holder, taking him down with a strong set of moves, incapacitating the Banks trainee just when it looked like Cadwell had the upper hand.
Paige vs Pete Dunne

The returning Paige had made a splash by capturing the PCW Championship and losing it, all in her first PCW match, in what could only be called a controversial managing decision. She had a lot to prove this time, meeting in the ring with the Bruiserweight, former TWA Heavyweight champion.
The expectations were high, but she met them all. She pushed her opponent to the limit, in a pure Britsh wrestling encounter where the visiting Dunne couldn't capitalise despite having the strenght advantage.
With her first official point, Paige held her arms high in victory after pinning the Bruiserweight.
Will Ospreay vs Ricochet

Will Ospreay's quest for his last point hadn't quite ended yet, but Ricochet was his last step, and he wasn't going to falter now.
This wasn't their first meeting and it showed as Ospreay easily escaped Ricochet's moves, dodging, flying and wrestling circles around the other wrestler.
Despite the GM's grimace and 'Chet's best efforts, he finished the match with a clean pin, dedicating his victory to the ruling Havoc, letting him know that every flip, every hold and his eventual conquest of the championship was going to happen with or without his approval.
Rey Mysterio vs Shaul Guerrero

Both competitors seemed happy to see each other, and shook hands eagerly before the match started. It promised to be a lucha-style, high-flying encounter and it delivered.
The audience was in awe from beginning to end, and despite the mixed chants from the start, the "Gue-rre-ro" chants took over the arena, leading Shaul to certain victory over the more tenured luchador.
Allysin Kay vs Pentagon Jr. (PCW Championship)

After her collar match against Taeler, Allysin's neck still showed the marks of the violence, bruised face and marked neck, she still fought as strong as she ever did, taking Pentagon to the extreme, showing him that if he was here to cleanse the villains of the company, he was gonna have to go back where he came from and take a different path on his mission.
AK saw this one close, and barely dodged the bullet, but was able to pin Pentagon with her finishing move right before he managed to finish her off with his own.
Everything seemed like it had gone her way, but some leaves flew onto the ring, rustling amidst the loud chants of the crowd.
