PCW Phase Twenty-Seven: The Immunity Syndrome
The lights in the UIC Pavillion turned red and yellow when the opening strains of The Phoneix by Fall Out Boy began. The large crowd was on their feet and chanting the song along with the must. They cheered loudly as soon as the announcer, Griffin West slid into view with his signature mic in hand.
Welcome, Welcome back to Chicago all my fine friends! We're back here for out Season FINALE! Let's hear it!
He ran up the ramp, red and orange lights flickering to follow him. He jumped effortlessly in a gold suit onto the ramp then dipped under the second rope, spinning around in the center of the ring, stomping.
We've seen a lot going on here in PCW this season and now it's all coming to a head. We have points on the line, titles to fight for and points to be proven so let's kick this off!
He clapped his hands, tucked his mic in his inner pocket and rolled out of the ring, skipping to the commentary table. He flopped into his designated chair and he leaned over to pin the captain symbol on Mike's chest with a grin, already talking animatedly as he put on his headset.
Joey Ryan vs Eddie Kingston

Rupert Holmes' "Escape" started playing and Joey Ryan made his entrance through the curtain, making a strutting walk down the ramp, dripping oil down his chest, into his trunks and coming into the ring with a half-split against the ropes, leaning on them while sucking on his blowpop, waiting for the match to start.
Bobbing his head to the beat of Jay-Z's Renegade before throwing the curtain back, Eddie Kingston came out with one arm raised as he began the walk down the ramp, halfway down he paused and threw up his sign, his index and middle finger crossed, his ring finger held down by his thumb and pinkie still in the air. Making his way down to the ring as he paused after climbing through the rope, turning to one side of the ring and flipping off the crowd before laughing. He bounced on his feet as he shadowboxed, waiting for the bell to ring.
Kingston tried his best to keep away from Ryan, delivering quick strong moves to his opponent, and though Joey seemed to be taking a beating, quickly the match evened out and almost without noticing, Eddie got caught in the YouPorn Plex, despite Ryan struggling to get him thrown the first time, he managed it on the second attempt, but before he went for the pin, he found Kingston's foot, and as he staggered back, was met with a Backfist to the future from Kingston, who knocked Ryan out to win his second championship contention point.
Braun Strowman vs Chad Lail

A roar blasted through the arena as "I Am Stronger" played and the fans sitting down in the arena got on their feet to witness the spectacle that was Braun Strowman. The goliath of a man came walking out of the curtains and everybody started cheering for the Monster Among Men. Strowman raised his arms and screamed loudly and then proceeded to march down the ring focused with the intent to bring the pain to his opponent. He stepped up to the apron and stepped over the top rope with his tree trunk legs and walked over to the corner waiting for the bell to be rung.
"Day of rage" started playing and Chad Lail walked down the ramp with a stern look on his face, arms at his sides, strong and confident as he stepped inside the ring to meet his opponent.
The match consisted of a full-on test of strength for both men, both coming from a recent defeat at the hands of someone "weaker" than them, leaving them with a lot to prove if they wanted to get back in line for the Championship. With Braun's size advantage, one would think this to be an easy match, but ultimately, it was an impressive Hangar 18 from Lail that gave him the victory, though his body did show the effects of withstanding the weight and the blows from Strowman.
Sierra Loxton vs Shaul Guerrero

To the beat of Freaky Princess by Alive, Sierra Loxton came down the ramp. Flaring her cape and sliding gracefully down, across the front row and finally onto the apron, removing her pleated silver cape when she reached the ring.
Shaul Guerrero's confidence exuded through her every step as she walked with down the ramp, her hips moving with her, her charisma and flair coming into the ring with her. She waited for her opponent while stretching and talking to some of her fans in the front row.
Sierra and Shaul started the match with a display of good sportsmanship, one of two women who don't necessarily like one another but at least respect each other enough to shake hands before starting their bout. Their moves seemed to be pretty even, with good back and forth throughout the entire thing, and despite wearing each other out, it was a Gory Bomb out of nowhere that took down Loxton, giving Guerrero her first singles point for championship contention.
Allysin Kay vs Austin Theory (With Priscilla Kelly) (PCW Championship Match)

As the melody gradually amplified, the harmonious hum signalling the arrival of the AK-47. As the words came forth with the resonating beat, she made her appearance in seconds. Nothing complex about her could be determined as she revealed herself to the crowd. Feathers embellished her features as they bounce upon her shoulders. Spiked bra, fishnets, and high-waisted shorts said it all. Allysin Kay: the very definition of a rebel. Everything about her expression read as apathy. Pinkies held up to her sides, she crosses her legs and bows before raising those fingers up high. The self-proclaimed savage continued down the ramp without a single shift in expression. Only when she climbed those steel steps did the faintest smile show, generating nothing short of a cold demeanor as she entered the ring, once again bowing as those pinkies were lifted up high.
Priscilla Kelly came out first, opening way for Austin Theory keeping the fans at bay, the ones who thought he would meet him there. However at the last second, he brought out such a smug grin over his facial expression that had showcased this shocked emotion— all of this was a rue, he was playing the fans with a reaction of his pearly whites to be very noticeable while those few footsteps were taken with his hands out toward each side of him with such confidence. Finally placing himself inside of the apron before he easily followed through to stand in the middle of the ring. Allowing all of the boos to follow inside as he thought to allow the fans to bask in his glory.
After all the words that had been said in the week leading to their match, not only was the new champion determined to retain her championship, but she was ready to destroy her competition.
Priscilla stayed out of the match for the most part, though she did distract the referee enough for Austin to keep Allysin wrapped on the turnbuckle for a few long seconds over the count. The match went on, and Kay took out Priscilla as she was coming up on the apron, a big boot sending her flying off the ring and onto the floor.
Theory tried to use that opportunity to take out the champion but was met with a quick reaction from Kay, and the first AK 47 came down on Austin. Just as she was about to pin him, Priscilla gained enough consciousness to jump close to the ring and pull Austin's leg under the rope, successfully breaking the pin attempt.
In a rage, and pointedly looking at Kelly, Allysin did another AK47 on Theory, this time making sure he was right at the middle of the ring to assure nobody could stop it this time. The referee counted the pinfall, and Allysin Kay retained her championship.
Just as she was lifting her hand to have it formally declared though, Priscilla Kelly, enraged, jumped inside the ring, attacking Allysin and checking on Theory only after the champion had been mauled with relentless, aimless punches and knocked out, exhausted after the gruelling match she'd just had.
Once everyone, including the champion, was clear of the ring, Griffin pulled himself back into it, straightened his suit and looked from the still cheering crowd and back to the ramp.
And with THAT, gentle Flock, we wrap up Season Six! We'll see you back again next week, same time. Same place. Thanks as always for coming and we'll see you again next week for the start of season seven! The music and lights went out on Griffin grinning.
