Logan Square Auditorium

Zara Sabre vs Ivelisse Vélez (With Salina De La Renta)

M2.png

The two women lock up in the center of the ring and Velez gets the side headlock. Zara slips out and gets behind her with a wristlock. Ivelisse drops the elbows onto the arm to escape momentarily, but Sabre yanks the arm to pull Velez into a forearm smash. Zara then drops Ivelisse with an inverted DDT for a one count. Zara gets the armlock and sits on the back, twisting and turning the wrist. Ivelisse tries to drag herself to the ropes, but Zara eventually hooks the fingers in her mouth to slow her down. The referee counts union Zara let’s go at three. Zara then forced Velez up only to eat a headbutt out of nowhere.

Ivelisse chops the chest multiple times before dropping Zara with a hip toss. She rebounds off the ropes to connect with a dropkick to the face for a one count. Velez transitions immediately into the chinlock, sitting on the back. Zara drags herself to the ropes to break the hold at the count of three. Velez stomps the back and drags Zara to the center of the ring by the legs before turning her over into the Boston Crab submission. Zara refuses to tap out, lifting herself up until she gets under Velez to roll her up for the two count. They both stand, but Zara gets the superkick to the jaw for a two count.

Sabre was timing her next move, but she suddenly saw Spike and Pavor at the top of the ramp. She’s distracted long enough for Ivelisse to roll her up, but she kicks out. They lock up, but Zara was too focused on Spike to dodge a forearm before being planted with a butterfly suplex. Ivelisse transitions into the guillotine chokehold, squeezing down tight. Zara rolls them over into the ropes. She gasps for air as Spike and Pavor watch on. She gets the clothesline to Velez and yanks her to the shoulders, but she slips out onto the back for the Desert Eagle to put Zara away.

Velez and Salina celebrate as Zara slips out of the ring, disappointed in herself. She looks up the ramp and the men were no longer there...if they were ever there at all.

Stain Yer Blood

M2b.png

Black sat in the abandoned room yet again. It was voided almost completely of radiance. Candles were again his main source of light and the flames in which they carried danced against the wind that spilt through the cracks of the walls and ceiling. Shadows twirled and shook against the wall, as if alive and merry. Aleister made an effort to focus on his breathing, controlling the deep-rooted rage that filled his heart and gut. It swelled, boiled, stirred in his body, begging to be set free, but he valued control. He needed it and if he could not gain control over his current situation, he will gain power of his reaction to it.

He thought to Pavor’s attack on him, the blood seeping from his lips as it rushed up from his torso and gargled in his mouth. The excruciating pain, the unbearable agony—it pissed him off beyond belief and this anger made it all too easy for something to creep into his very soul. As he sat with balled fist and heavy breath, he could’ve sworn he heard voices. Hushed, deep, yet so enticing, so comforting. They talked to him, soothed him, tried to sway him as they filled his mind with...peculiar thoughts. He couldn’t make out what they’re saying, but he suddenly grew the need to fight and rage even more. What originally called him, only made his anger inflamed and the concentration upon these voices brought a vein to surface on his temple.

It looked as if he would burst any moment and wage war against the entirety of PCW without hesitation, but—

“Dude, are you okay?” The voices silenced themselves as Indigo made her way inside. His eyes swept the room in an attempt to find the source of his inner calamity, but nothing was in there with them. “What’s up...? Did something happen?”

“What do you want, child?” His eyes finally landed on her with a subtle fury.

“It’s Indigo. Tyler is up against Pavor while Natalya, Frankie, and Taeler are against Vipress, Corvus, and my mother. We may not be riding into battle tonight, but I think we should look out for those matches and make sure uninvited guests don’t appear. I think...”

She went on and on, but her words started to fade. She stood mere inches from his seated frame, but he could not hear her clearly. It was as if he was pulled under the waves of the sea and her words were murmurs, distant. All that filled his head were the voices and they were so much more clear. “Kill the bitch. Kill her where she stands. You know you want to. You don’t want to help them, you want to cut them down, and watch them burn. Do it, Aleister. Do it. Do it. DO IT.”

“Aleister...?” She broke his trance and he blinked. “You keep zoning out on me. Did Vipress get ahold of you with that poison? Tell me! I can help you get that crap out of your system. I already helped Tyler before it got out of control. She used it on Spike and if allowed to seep into your bloodstream... Let’s just say it lowers your guard and makes you get susceptible to suggestion and manipulation.”

“I’m fine... No one has touched me. I’d have broken her hand, if she did.” He paused for a moment. “You’re right... We should keep our eyes open and be ready to strike the iron while it burns white-hot. For now, however, leave me to meditate. There are...things I must process in order to be more effective in battle.” She was looking at him strangely and knelt down in front of him. Concern filled her eyes as she reached out to touch his hand. Of course, he pulled back without a second thought. Kelly stopped herself and sighed, but held his gaze.

“I get it. You’re some kind of lone wolf. Up until a month ago, I was a cub latching onto everyone. Now I’m doing things on my own accord. Being alone made it easier for Vipress and Corvus to attack me the way that they did. The Fourth Circle works through divide and conquer. If we can stick together, we have a chance.” She reached out again and lightly touched his arm. “So try not to distance yourself too far while you’re in this place. The atmosphere always changes in here. It gets heavy and dark, almost like it's trying to kill me. I don’t know how you can stand it, but don’t lose yourself in here.” She pats his arm and leaves him alone to think.

His eyes followed her until she was out of his line of sight. Aleister looked around the room, the voices no longer active. He closed his eyes and started to breathe deeply. As he did so, the room darkened and suddenly everything froze. Time itself seem to slow down. Black hardly moved, yet the figures approaching him from behind was in complete control of themselves. Pavor grinned wildly as he touched Black’s neck, fingers burning into the skin as he gripped it viciously. Trivet watched with great interest, but said nothing as Pavor knelt down, whispering in Black’s ear. “Kill Indigo Kelly...Kill Indigo Kelly...Kill Indigo Kelly....”

Black jumped from the sudden heat that scorched his neck and stood to his feet. The voices were back, but only momentarily. No one was in plain sight, but he felt he was no longer alone. Black made haste, leaving this temple behind. The message lingered in the back of his mind while Pavor and Spike watched from the other side. “He’s ours. Soon he will submit to our will....”

Jay Lethal (With Taeler Hendrix) vs Shane Strickland

M3.png

Shane gets the wristlock and forearms the face before whipping him into the ropes. Jay blocks dropkick and quickly knees the face before Strickland is up for the one count. He puts the arm behind Shane and drops the knee down multiple times before rebounding off the ropes for an elbow drop to the back. Jay rolls him over for another two count. Lethal sends him into the ropes and Hendrix grabs the legs in order for Jay to clothesline Strickland to the apron.

The referee argues with Taeler, allowing Lethal to gouge the eyes before kicking Shane down to the ground. Jay rolls out and has him up, slinging Strickland into the barricade. Taeler joins her husband by his side and the two share a passionate kiss as the referee makes the count to three. Jay yanks Strickland up and tosses him in. Lethal looks for another attack, but Shane rolls him up for the two count.

Jay tries to clothesline him, but is caught up in the STO backbreaker. Shane follows up with a lionsault from the ropes to get the two count. Shane has him up, but eats an uppercut. He backs into the corner and Lethal gets the running knee to the gut. He sends Shane down to the mat and goes up high. Strickland reacts and knocks the leg out from under him. Shane gets Lethal up and drops him with the electric chair for a close count.

Lethal slowly rises and Shane tries for the dropkick, but misses. Jay is able to stomp the back of the head and get Shane up for a headlock. Shane reverses and attacks Lethal with a forearm. He quickly follows up with a brain buster before going up high to get the double footstomp to put Jay away for the three count.

View From The Other Side

M4.PNG

The previous scene faded to black and once the video returned it showed Maxwell Jacob Friedman sitting at the head of a giant banquet table. The room was otherwise empty and the camera zoomed from the opposite end of the table, across the top until it was focused on Maxwell.

He was dressed to the nines, clean-cut dark blue suit with a white shirt and matching blue tie and his trademark scarf. He smirked and cleared his throat "Ladies and Gentlemen, just in case you are deaf dumb blind stupid or in the case of Mitchell Knight, a complete and utter bitch and a metaphorical and literal dead man walking... my name is Maxwell Jacob Friedman and I am the fastest rising star in the history of professional and... if you are in fact not blind and can see around my grand ballroom, you can see that I am better than you buy if you are blind you already knew it anyway"

Maxwell smirked a sly smile as he gestured around the room. It was large, wooden and had beautiful stained glass windows, some large pieces of artwork, a suit of armour and several other statues. He faced back to the camera and continued

"No, no keep the camera on me, four eyes, my time isn't cheap... I've been getting texts left and right, asking "ohhhh MJF why did you do that to Mitchell Knight, meh meh meh cry cry cry ohoohh"... listen, I'm not the bad guy here. All right? He got Mike Barkinshrub or whatever to put him in a match where he didnt belong... he stuck his nose in MY business. Mine. Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Ask Cody Rhodes about my business, okay? Ask anyone who I've ever taken out about my business...

Mitchy, my business is taking snot-nosed little sons of bitches like you out behind the woodshed and putting two in the head before I go home and have sex with my totally hot wife, who by the way is much hotter than anyone you've ever even fantasized about. Certainly more so than any fake supermodel that you jerked off too in your mother's basement, while you played your little E-Fed wrestling leagues where you pretended to be me. You took something very important to me... so one point be damned, I will have your head instead... now get the hell out of my house"

He pointed to the door and before the camera could even move Max stood up and the chair slammed to the ground as he screamed "OUT" and the camera fell over before going dark.

Scarlett Bordeaux vs Indi Hartwell

M5.png

Hartwell gets the wristlock and and kicks Bordeaux in the gut. She sends the blonde into the ropes, but Scarlett rebounds with a shoulder block. Bordeaux looks to follow up with a rebounded leg drop, but Indi manages to roll out the way in time and kicks the side of the head hard for a two count. Hartwell forces Scarlett up and whips her into the corner, but she gets the leg up as Indi races in. Bordeaux gets behind her with the running Bulldog for a two count.

She yanks Indi up and shoves her in the corner. Scarlett drives multiple forearms into the chest before whipping Indi into the opposing corner. She races in and gets the back elbow before proceeding with a Stink Face to the Australian. Bordeaux looks to pin her, but Indi quickly escapes to the outside. Bordeaux climbs high, but Indi makes sure she’s far out of range for the crossbody. Scarlett gets down to chase the woman up the ramp, but Indi quickly spears her down.

The two women brawl on the outside, tumbling off the ramp as the referee continues the count. Neither woman cared as he reached ten and the match was called off. Bordeaux send Indi into the barricade and follows up with a knee strike that sends the back of the head into the barricade. Hartwell slumps to the floor as Bordeaux is held back from doing anything more. The crowd chants for them to fight, but they keep them separated and forces them out of the arena.

Closing Time

M6.PNG

Marty stands next to Hayley with his shades covering his eyes, but the way his lips twisted into an ugly snarl made it clear he wasn’t too happy. Before she could even speak, he took the mic from her and waved her away. “I’ll take care of this, doll. Go sit and be mildly pretty.” Atwell glared at him. “Excuse me?”
“Yes, you’re excused. Go on,” he says again with a smirk before the woman slaps him hard across the face. Even his glasses came off in the process. Marty is too stunned to stop her from walking away, but once he regained composure, he stared into the screen with rage.

“This is exactly what I came out here to talk about. I have to put up with crap like that!? I don’t get any bloody respect around here despite taking our current Future Phoenix Champion to his limit. I deserve better than this and PCW needs to recognize that they have a star on their hands!” Marty pauses and shakes his head. “When I made my debut, I turned PCW upside down, added flavor to the Future Phoenix Championship. The boys almost didn’t know how to handle me and now I’m forced to come out and let some half-wit ask me questions when I should be out there competing. This is unaccept—“

“Do you whine like this often?” Kyle O’Reilly states as he appears on screen. “I mean, I’ve been down the same road as you in this company, but rather than crying? I do believe I took one of the best competitors in the world to his limit.”

Marty glares and steps up to Kyle. “And who the hell even asked you? You say you’ve been here before, but it looks like even after your ‘grand’ victory, you still couldn’t be given the time of day. And you want to lecture me? Pathetic.”

O’Reilly smirks and shrugs his shoulders. “Not to lecture you, but to let you know that whining won’t solve your issues. If you want things to happen? You gotta make it happen.” Kyle gives Marty a smirk and holds out his hand. “I’m not asking to be friends. I’m not even asking you to like me. I’m telling you, from one outcast to another, that we can make things happen and turn this goddamn company on its head.” Marty considers his words before hesitantly shaking his hand.

“Alright, lad. Let’s ruin this damn place.”

Priscilla Kelly & Corvus & Vipress vs Taeler Hendrix & Heart2Hart

M7.png

Priscilla has the front headlock on Natalya and takes her down with a butterfly facebuster for a very quick one count. Priscilla mounts the woman and Natalya tries to fight her off, but Kelly bites the hand as Natalya tries to shove her off. The referee gives her a warning as Kelly slaps the face. She slams the head repeatedly against the mat before looking back at Taeler with a grin.

Hendrix stares back at her with complete hatred. Priscilla yanks Natalya up and whips her into the corner just so Taeler could tag in. The two lock up and Hendrix slings her to the mat before slamming fists to the face. This behavior was unlike the redhead, but even as Kelly narrowly escaped her fury to outside, she was laughing. Priscilla blew her a kiss and Hendrix chased her to the outside. PK slid back in and tagged in Corvus, who shoulder blocked Taeler as soon as she got to the apron. She collapses down to the outside before he yanks her up and sends the shoulder into the ringpost. He sends her in for a two count.

Corvus continues to work on the arm and shoulder, dragging her into the ropes to twist the arm around them. He then kicks the arm before yanking the redhead to her feet. Corvus drives her back into his corner for Vipress to tag in. She snapmares Taeler then tries for the big boot, but Hendrix ducks and rolls her up for the two count. Vipress forearms her as they stand, but Hendrix doesn’t allow the whip, yanking Vipress into a forearm. She tries to capitalize, but Vipress boots the hurt shoulder. Vipress lifts Hendrix up and drops her with the driver for a two count fall. Vipress tags in Priscilla and the succubus looks to capitalize.

She has Hendrix up, but as soon as their eyes locked? Taeler lost it and headbutts the woman. She drops Priscilla with a palmstrike and drags into the corner for Frankie to tag in. Both women suplex Priscilla onto the mat before Taeler helps Frankie with a moonsault to get the two count. Frankie has Kelly up and slams the face into the corner multiple times before sitting her on the top turnbuckle. Frankie looks to capitalize, but Kelly kicks her down. She looks for the crossbody and lands it, but Frankie catches her and rolls through for a Military Press Drop. The former tag champion gets on a roll as she connects with multiple clotheslines. She takes Kelly down with a hurricarana and sends her into her corner.

Kelly tags in Vipress and they lock up. Vipress gets the armlock and forces Frankie to her knee before kicking the face. While Frankie is stunned, Vipress has her locked into the butterfly position, but the former champion battled back and tosses Vipress into a back drop. Frankie rebounds off the ropes for another hurricarana, but Vipress has her caught and counters into a spinning sit-out powerbomb for a near fall. Vipress starts to stomp the chest before trying rake the eyes. The referee starts the count and she backs off at three. She tries to follow up, but Frankie suddenly gets the rollup, hooking the legs for a three count. This didn’t sit well with them. Priscilla and Corvus rush in to attack her and that has Taeler and Natalya racing in. The ring is in total chaos, but order is regained as Taeler, Natalya, and Frankie send all three to the outside, standing tall in the end.

Kelly demands a mic and grins. “You think you’ve won, Taeler? You think any of you have won?! This is only the beginning and it will ultimately come down to either us or you at SuperNova Showdown. Don’t think for a second that you have us beat! The only thing we see in your future is death. There’s no way to outrun it, no way to hide. No matter what...you will all perish because of the Fourth Circle.”
Tyler Breeze vs Pavor Nox

M8.png

Nox and Breeze lock up, but not for long as Pavor grabs the hair to slam Breeze down. Pavor stomps on the chest with the heel of his boot before walking over Tyler. The man sits him up and knees the back multiple times before turning Tyler on his side, bending the arm behind his back. Breeze refuses to tap as Pavor continues to stretch the arm back. He struggles to get his foot on the ropes, finally reaching the bottom one. Pavor backs up and drives a kick into the back.

Tyler rolls to the apron and Nox looks to pull him back in, but Breeze yanks Nox into the ropes. Pavor chokes and is yanked to the apron. The champion looks for the destroyer, but Pavor remains grounded and forearms Tyler back. Breeze strikes back with a chop and the two go at it on the apron. Pavor blocks a chop and manages to boot Tyler down to the apron hard. Breeze rolls off onto his feet, but is brought down as Nox races across the apron with a kick to the face. Nox snickers as he re-enters the ring to restart the count.

He steps back out and looks to continue his onslaught, but Breeze had time to recuperate enough to shove Nox back into the apron. He slams the face multiple times against the apron before climbing up to connect with a hurricarana. Pavor crashes into the barricade, but Tyler isn’t done. He starts to beat down on Nox with fist after fist. Referee’s count be damned, Tyler wanted blood. He slings Nox into the ringpost and Pavor stumbles to the apron to stay on his feet.

Tyler is after him and spears him to the ground from behind, slamming the face in the floor. The ten count was made, but Tyler kept going and going until Nox’s skull was busted opened. Pavor’s face was caked in crimson, but he was smiling. That made Breeze stop. The man started to laugh, cackle at a high-pitched tone. It echoed throughout the arena and Nox’s head completely turned 180 degrees, looking up at Breeze with crazed eyes. His smile grew wider and wider as the lights flickered in the arena. Nox just kept laughing until it went completely dark. As the lights return, Pavor was on the stage, face still caked in blood. Tyler looked on with silent fury as the man grinned back without a care in the world, as if pain was a foreign concept that his body and mind just couldn’t comprehend.
