Vipress goes for a chop, but Corvus grabs her hand. “Last chance...friend.” She doesn’t hesitate to bring a leg up for a kick. Corvus ducks under it and doesn’t pull back to the boot to the back, knocking her down. Indigo finally charges Harlow on the inside and is caught easily by the neck. “You’re not as strong as you used to be, Indigo.” She starts to laugh and lift the woman off the mat. “I used to want you on my side, but this time? I’m going to make sure Hell has one more occupant.” She tosses Indigo into the corner and the woman gasps for air. Harlow races towards her and Indigo gets out of the way in time and drives multiple elbows into the face. Indigo loses her mine, throwing fist after fist down onto Harlow until she’s cowered in the corner. The woman lets out a shriek of agony and Indigo comes up from behind with a backstabber for the pin. Harlow lets out a battle cry as she kicks out, flinging Indigo off her and even sending Corvus down to the mat. She grabs Corvus by the leg and drags him into the corner with Indigo, piling him on top of his partner. Vipress is summoned to the ring, carrying a trashcan. She wedges the can on top of Corvus and allows Harlow to follow up with a hip attack into the can. Both teammates go still and Vipress goes for the pin on Corvus. He kicks out at two. Corvus springboards into the ring for a flying knee to the face. Harlow is stunned and Indigo goes the Darkness Reigns again, planting Harlow for the victory.

The two celebrate, Indigo hugging Corvus tightly. She had finally gotten the retribution she’s sought for months and Corvus could now get Vipress back...right? The demon glared at them both and Corvus attempted to approach her. She hisses and drops down from the apron. She made her exit up the ramp, looking back only once with a hellish stare at Corvus. He sighed heavily in disappointment before realizing Harlow’s body was no longer present in the ring.

Bryan Wyatt vs Sami Callihan
Wyatt Compound Match

b05d740fc3e6baca93a9c81d493ede07.png

The leaves rustled in the breeze as Sami made his way along the path. The crunch of dead leaves was all he could hear. It felt as if he had walked forever, finding no sign of Bray or the compound. He was surrounded by tree after tree and shrubs. Where the hell was he?

“Where are you, Bray?! I know you can hear me! Show yourself!” He was met with silence for a few moments before footsteps sound behind him. A giggle of a child and rustle of leaves made him whip around. Nothing. He wasn’t shaken and he refused to be deterred. Wyatt was watching. He continued forward on the path, a dim light shining from afar. As he continued, it was recognized as lanterns attached to the trees. Sami followed their glow and came upon a clearing of short grass. To his left was a door wedged into a mound. So focused on the door, he jumped as a little boy ran past him and rushed past the door. Callihan followed, kicking the door open upon finding it suddenly locked. Stairs creaked under his feet as he descended and found his way into a rotten kitchen. Maggots filled a pot and were spilling over the edge. The floor was cracked and caked in dirt. Moss and ooze crept from the walls and a roach ran by his foot.

Callihan heard the boy again to his right and ran through the hall into the living room. A torn armchair sat in the middle. No pictures covered the wall, no table, nothing. Everything just as grimy as the kitchen. The TV turned on and static issued. He knelt in front of it, watching the screen before it shuts off on its own. The child was behind him in the reflection and ran up the stairs. Sami chases after him, catching the child right before a room. He forced the kid around and the child’s face was partially gone. The eyeball wiggled in what should’ve been the eyehole. Muscles tenses and bled as the child screamed. It was so loud, so high-pitched, that Sami’s ears started to bleed. He dropped to his knees before hands grabbed him through the floor and yanked him through the wood. He collapses to what appeared to be a basement.

The rocking chair swayed back and forth in the centre. The familiar lantern Bray used sat within it. “Where...are...you...?” Callihan said out of pain and frustration as he stood. In response, voices filled the entire room. They called his name, laughed, screamed, cried—surrounding him and only growing in intensity until the light from the lantern grew. It blinded him and he eventually couldn’t see. He let out a rage-filled cry and kicked the chair over, the lantern dropping, but not breaking. The voices were gone, the light was dim, and from behind? Bray put a hand to his shoulder. Sami instinctively swung his fist behind him, but Bray was out of reach. “All these theatrics...and for what? To make me run from this fight?” Wyatt laughed and pointed to his head.

“This...it’s still a tad empty, boy...but I’m going to fix that.”

“You wanted a fight, Wyatt? Well, here I am.” Callihan attempted to spear him down, but Bray was suddenly gone and he threw himself into a table, shattering it.

“I didn’t bring you here for a fight, child.”

Bray was over him again as he was down. He placed a hand against his head. “Your spirit is so strong. Relentlessly fighting your inner demons, but fight no longer, Sami. Welcome them.” Callihan swung again, but he misses. Bray grabbed his arm and lifted him with inhuman strength, slamming Callihan’s back into the wall. He grabbed the man by the neck and held up the lantern. “Strong spirit, but a weak mind. So easy to manipulate...to take...”

The lantern went from a white tint to dark grey. Sami wanted to look away, but his gaze was stuck. He felt drawn to the light. His body stiffened and he felt the energy from his body slowly slip from him. “What are...you doing...?”

He could hardly muster the strength to speak. “Shhh...don’t struggle, don’t resist. It’ll be over soon.” Moments passed as Sami slowly slumped against Bray’s grasp. Wyatt dropped him down and moments passed before Callihan sat up straight. He stood to his feet, eyes voided of the intensity Sami always possessed. “We have work to do, child,” he says and leads Sami out of the basement.

On the way, a faded scream can be heard. Bray put the lantern down and slammed the door behind him. All the while, the lantern glowed with an intense light. The word “Help” appeared from the inside before fading away.

Frankie steps on the apron behind the post as Natalya attempts to lift them from the turnbuckle. Frankie helps pull both men over down, sending them crashing through the tables. Frankie joins Natalya in the ring as they’re awarded the belts, holding them up high in the air before hugging each other tightly.

The celebration hardly began, however, as Zack and Jimmy made their way out to the stage, staring down the new tag team champions. Silently making a challenge.

Rise of The Phoenix Championship Match

8cb21e8226938a7af9eba752a96f8a28.png

Breeze awaits his opponent in the ring, more than confident he will walk away as the champion. It came as no surprise to him as Mike Quackenbush makes his way down the ramp. Tyler requests a mic and shakes his head. “I KNEW it would be you. You have the audacity to punish Taya for ‘abuse of power’ but will gladly toss yourself into a title match? The pot calling the kettle black. I expected nothing less from an uggo, but it’s okay because I’m going to give you a makeover you so desperately need and end it all with s Beauty Shot.”

Mike claps for Tyler’s quick speech before charging at Breeze. The champion misses a clothesline and Quack immediately connects with an STO into a backbreaker. He rolls Tyler over, hooking the arm and bridging over him to put the arm in a submission. Breeze is close enough to the ropes to get his leg under it. Mike shifts into a side headlock and forces Breeze to his feet. Tyler shoves him off into the ropes and takes Mike down with a shoulder block. He rebounds from the ropes and Quack trips him up and rolls over the legs before crossing them into a grounded cloverleaf. Tyler refuses to tap and drags himself to the ropes. He demands his selfie stick and drops down to take a photo with Mike as he’s hurt. “A masterpiece!” Tyler says before stomping on Quack. The match is thrown out as Kross lifts Tyler for the Doomsday Saito suplex. He wasn’t done, though, forcing Quack up for the Kross Jacket submission until Quack passed out.

Killer Kross continued his assault, bringing a sledgehammer into the ring from under it. He beats down on Quack first, targeting that already weakened elbow multiple times. He then assaults Tyler, trying to crush his organs as he drives the hammer into the body multiple times. Kross then holds the hammer up high, laugh maniacally as he admires his handiwork.

Jenny Blake vs Taya Valkyrie
I Quit Match

e7db5bbccbf786c34b37b87d44351880.png

Jenny makes her way out to the ring, a red cape flowing behind her and sword raised high in the air. The fans cheered for her as the familiar She-Ra attired was almost instantly recognized. Golden boots and arm guards gleamed in the arena lights as she waved to the fans. The headband piece sparkled brighter than any other piece and the light reflected off it as she raised the blade again. She made her way down the ramp, slapping the hands of fans as she goes. She looked confident going into this match and entered the ring, removing the cap and setting aside the sword as the fans chant her name. The fun doesn’t last long as Taya makes her entrance, eliciting boos from the fans. Her bodysuit was embroiled with black lace and golden thread stitched the gear together within the center. The leg area radiated with a golden flint and her boots were raven black, “Wera Loca” stitched in gold lettering on the front. A golden cape flowed behind her, the collar piece reaching just below the edge of a golden crown, the spikes having a deadly glint of gold. Taya tapped golden claws that adorned her finger against her abdomen as she calmly walked up the steps and entered the ring. She unclasped the robe and gave Blake the ugliest glare.

The bell hadn’t even rang before Taya tackles Jenny to the mat, throwing punch after punch without even removing the claws. She scratches Jenny along her arm, drawing a thin line of blood from the scratch early on. Taya snatches Blake up by the hair and tosses her into the corner, digging the claws into the neck as she choked the former PCW Champion. “ASK HER!” Taya shouts and the referee holds up the mic as he asks does she quit. Taya loosened her grip. “Never!” She drove a kick into the gut and fought Valkyrie off of her. She then follows up with a hurricarana out of the corner. Taya rolls into the ropes and Jenny follows up with a dropkick, sending Taya to the outside. Blake gets up high on the turnbuckle, leaping off for a crossbody to take Taya down, but Valkyrie catches her. She tried to ram Jenny’s shoulder into the ringpost, but Blake escapes in time and shoves Taya forward into it instead. “Ask her!” She says, but Taya literally kicked the mic from the referee as he tried to approach her.

She slowly stands, glaring her opponent down. Jenny did not back down and they collided again, throwing punches left and right. Taya sends Blake into the barricade before following up with a suplex onto the barricade. As Blake hangs there, Taya forces the mic to her lips herself.

“Give. Up.”

“... No...”

Valkyrie laughs and steps back only to connect with a dropkick to the side of the head. Jenny falls back over into the ring and Taya stomps down on her. The fans start to cheer Jenny on as Valkyrie climbs the barricade, she catches Jenny with the double knees, proceeding to knee Jenny in the face over and over as the woman is down. The fans booed Taya as she stood over Blake with her arms spread wide. “¡Arriba la Wera Loca!” They started to chant “you’re a bitch” to the blonde and she shrugged her shoulders, clearly unfazed by the reception. She grabs a ladder from under the ring and sets it up between the ring and barricade. Taya yanks Jenny up, attempting to suplex her onto the ladder, but Blake fights back and slams the face against the ladder.

Jenny whips Taya into the ladder and Valkyrie goes chest first into it, dropping to the floor. Jenny holds the mic to her lips, but Taya turns away from it, refusing to give in. Blake drags Taya into the ring and goes up high again, taking Valkyrie down with a crossbody. She follows up with multiple clotheslines, ending the sequence with a tilt-a-whirl faceplant into an armbar. Taya shrieks in pain and taps, but the match can only end with the verbal “I Quit” submission. The referee holds the mic to her lips, but she doesn’t quick. Valkyrie manages to roll through once on her knees and kick Blake in the face to force a break in the hold. Taya works out the arm as Blake charges her. She sidesteps and sends Jenny into the corner. Taya connects with two strong clotheslines and follows up with the double knees. She forces Blake up and sits her on to the turnbuckle. She climbs on the apron and goes for the head scissors takedown, tossing Blake from the top and down onto the ladder. It drops down from the barricade as Jenny drops to the floor. “Ask her! Ask her now!” Still, Jenny refused to give up.

Valkyrie yanks her up by the hair and slings her over the barricade. Taya drags the woman by her legs towards the stairs, pulling her up several of them. She then forces Jenny to her feet and lifts her up for a DDT onto the steps. Jenny topples back down and drops to the floor in an empty space of the crowd. Taya slowly climbs back down, a smirk on her face. The fans start to boo her again as she grabs an extra table. Sets it up and goes to pick up Blake, but she strikes back and forces Valkyrie off of her. She rams the back into the table and slams the face into it multiple times. Jenny tries to lift Taya, but the woman fights out of it. She shoves Jenny forward into the table before looking to escape. Valkyrie looks for higher ground, climbing up a scaffold just beyond the table. Blake goes after her, trying to pull her down, but Taya kicks her off. Both women eventually make it to the top, throwing punches back and forth. Taya headbutts Jenny and tries to toss her over, but Blake holds onto the arm. Taya struggles to free herself, but Jenny grabs her other arm, holding tight as she dangles above the table. Taya couldn’t free herself, but she wanted Jenny to suffer. She gave the woman a wicked grin as she stood to her feet, Jenny still hanging and trying to climb back up. “You...you wouldn’t!” Blake screams as she realizes what’s happening. Valkyrie doesn’t hesitate to fling herself over, Jenny falling right with her through the table.

Neither woman moves as the crowd chants “holy shit!” and cheering on both women’s performance thus far. The referee checks them both to make sure they’re conscious. Taya manages to roll over. “Ask...her...” she coughs and the referee does. “Go...to Hell,” was her opponent’s response. Valkyrie stands and grabs Jenny by the hair, shakily making her way to the barricade. She dragged Jenny as far as she could, slowly pushing her over the barricade. Jenny gets to her feet to forearm Taya hard. Valkyrie chops her back and the two battle it out, despite their exhaustion. Jenny gets the upper hand and drops Taya with a shoulder jawbreaker. Taya is dazed, but still on her feet. Jenny goes for a clothesline, but Valkyrie instinctively drops her with a neckbreaker. She drags Jenny towards the fallen ladder, shoving the upper body between the rings as it sits up against the apron. Taya brings the legs through lower on the ladder and ties them up around one of hers. Jenny’s body is at an angle and Valkyrie uses that position to apply the signature, modified camel clutch through the ladder. Jenny’s body was contorted, bending against the hard metal and being stretched out as Taya even grabs the hair to pull back further on the head. Blame screeches in pain, unable to go away as the referee asks her does she quit. Taya was standing at first as the ladder is angled, but lowers herself on her free leg, pulling even harder on Jenny now. She begins to violently pull and push the head and stomp against the ladder to add pressure as she holds in the submission. “QUIT, JENNY! I WILL SNAP YOU IN HALF!” And Taya had every intention of doing just that in this current position and Jenny knew that. You could hear it in her shrieks, the agony—either she quit or Valkyrie would break something. The referee held the mic to her lips. “I QUIT!” echoed throughout the arena and the bell rang.

Taya had just defeated Jenny Blake. She quit. Jenny actually quit. Valkyrie celebrated in an almost completely silent arena. No one expected Blake to give in and were too stunned to boo Taya. She laughs out loud as the referee helps Jenny out. Valkyrie snatches up the mic. “You really thought you had me, huh, bitch? I knew I was walking out with a victory. I had to. I had everything to lose while you fought for nothing, but ‘honor.’ In the end, I will always win because I’m better than you, Blake. Always have been.”

Taya pauses for a moment and laughs. “It’s not over yet, though, Jenny. You have severely pissed me off and I will make you suffer your entire PCW career. You will truly grow to loathe me if you don’t already.” Valkyrie tosses the mic as Blake is back on her feet. She limps away up the ramp, still general manager of PCW. Blake stands there, stunned, but the crowd soon claps for her. They chant her name and give her a standing ovation. Blake makes her way up the ramp, barely able to reach the stage. The lights go out momentarily and blinks back on in seconds. The fans go wild as the woman behind Jenny is none other than Rosemary. Blake turns and is misted in the eyes. Rosemary proceeds to attack Blake and plant her with a Red Wedding, uncaring of the fight she just went through.
