Jackal Hijacks The Show

6d08e910944e8eccd7fb0df3401a48d7.png

Phil Jackal is seen making his waking out onto the stage with a microphone in hand and a stern look on his face. “This Show is NOT starting until I receive justice.”

The fans boo him heavily, chanting that he sucks. “You can chant whatever you like, but I KNOW I’m the best highflyer on this roster. I’m one of the best signees PCW has ever had and I’m not going to be treated like this. Where’s my booking for tonight, huh? Where’s my big match?!”

Jackal grabs a chair and slides into the ring before sitting down in it.

“I’m not leaving until Taya makes some changes.”

Seconds past before Valkyrie finally made her appearance with security close behind. She makes them wait by ringside as she steps in. They slide a chair in for her and she takes a seat.

You really look less like a credible wrestler and more like an ass. You aren’t booked because you wouldn’t change the ratings in either direction. You're neutral, practically invisible and insignificant. You wanna blame all that on me, but it’s really your own fault.” Taya laughs, but Jackal says nothing, choosing to stay put. “You aren’t getting a match tonight, but our return show? I’ll have somebody lined up for you. Real competition. Until then, you’re dismissed.”

Security starts to enter the ring and Jackal immediately tries to fight them off, but they eventually outnumber him and carry him out of the arena with Taya waving and blowing a kiss.

Baron Corbin vs Mecha Wolf 450

136a06205368a7b55a74f4602490c85b.png

Mecha and Baron eye each other from opposite ends of the ring, unsure of what to make of each other. Corbin takes a step forward and Wolf tenses up. Both men started circling the ring, stalking one another until finally locking up. Wolf wasn’t weak by any means, but Baron had the muscle advantage, shoving Mecha to the mat before choking him. The referee has to force him back, but Corbin is on him again with a ground-and-pound moment, trying to literally bust the man’s face open. Corbin is pushed back again and given another warning.

Mecha is slowly back to his feet and narrowly dodges an incoming big boot. He connects with a neckbreaker before returning the aggression back on Corbin with stomps to the chest. He slams his fists down wildly, without strategy or logic—feral in mind and body as he tries clawing at the chest, ripping apart the tee of his opponent. Corbin manages to escape in the corner and Wolf charges with a back elbow. Baron drops in the corner and Wolf chokes him with the boot. The referee has to force Mecha back at four and gives him a warning. He growls, scaring the referee back, only to be met with a takedown from Corbin.

The two wolves battle it out in the center of the ring, drawing blood as they intend to murder each other. Baron dazed Mecha with a forearm to the face and drags him into the corner. He lifts the man up high on the turnbuckle, slapping him across the face. The Lone wolf tries to follow up, looking to drop Wolf with a suplex, but he fights back. The two battle up high with Corbin being knocked down and Wolf quickly landing the 450 splash for the three count.

Wolf is declared the victor, earning his very first point in the company. Corbin is still down and Wolf reaches an arm out. He helps Baron up on his feet before leaning into him, whispering. Baron listens momentarily before raising a brow. Wolf makes his exit from the ring before Baron follows behind.

A Moment of Bliss

84a4e0c63084327e08e077098218db89.png

Alexa is seated in a comfortable looking white chair, legs crossed and eyes focused on the camera ahead of her as “Spiteful” plays in the background. She clears her throat on the mic and music dies down, but the chants do not. Bliss looks pleased, but she finally speaks over the fans. “Ladies and gentlemen, a moment of Bliss has begun and my first guest is none other than Taya Valkyrie.” Taya’s announcement invites a wave of boos, but she came out completely attired for her match later tonight. The general manager takes a seat and gives Alexa a warm smile as she picks up the second mic. “I’m so glad you could join us,” Alexa says with her hand out. “It’s so nice to find—“

“Spare me the ass kissing, Bliss. You don’t need to be my BFF to succeed in PCW. What you can do, though, is to ask the question that I know is lingering in everybody’s mind.” Alexa rolls her eyes.

“Fine. Tonight, you face the PCW Champion for the title. You two obviously have history... So we’re all expecting this to be one Hell of a fight, especially since if Jenny loses, she has to go. How are you going to beat her exactly? What’s the game plan?”

“I’m going to do what I did in Mexico,” Taya says with a laugh. “Minimal changes have been made between us since I left. Our look, where we ended up career-wise, but what hasn’t changed is that I’m better than Jenny. I’m smarter, stronger, faster, prettier—everything Blake wanted to be? I did better. She only went soft because she realized she wasn’t the baddest blonde in the building anymore. Changed her entire appearance and attitude because she couldn’t outdo me in the same categories.”

Alexa nods while the crowd boos Valkyrie vehemently. Bliss motions for them to quiet down as she continues. “Real confident there. You don’t think there’s any chance she could retain over you tonight?”

Taya shakes her head. “Let’s say she does win, though. She actually pins me, because a bad bitch doesn’t tap. So what? She still wouldn’t be half the luchadora I am. That’s why beating me is so important to her. She knows I’m the standard, but whether she beats me or not, I’m going to always be the standard.” Valkyrie shrugs her shoulders nonchalantly and stands.

“Wait, I’m not—“

“I’m done here. I have to get ready for my match. As for you? Take notes, Little Miss Bliss.”

Tyler Breeze vs Alexxis Nevaeh

6820b2af7612ca42ac8622e393556c5c.png

Alexxis was showing Breeze that she was not easy pickings. She leaves red marks on his chest where chops were just applied before taking him down with a dropkick to the leg. Alexxis continues a ground and pound style, driving fist after fist into the face before Breeze escapes. He begs the referee to check his face, but Alexxis wasn’t having any of that. The Double X Diva drives a hard knee into the gut and whips Breeze into the ropes. He rebounds with a clothesline that sends her to the mat.

Breeze stomps on the chest before making a face. “Uggo!” He rebounds off the ropes for a knee drop, but Alexxis rolls out of the way. She gets behind him and chops his back before slapping him hard across the face. The blonde follows up with sickening palm thrust to the throat. Tyler chokes and Alexxis goes for a forearm. The small woman backs him into the corner and goes for a running forearm, but he ducks out the way and superkicks her into the corner.

Tyler gains control with multiple elbows to the blonde before whipping her by the hair onto the mat. He connects with a running knee and pins her for the one count. He drags her face across the mat before pulling her into the ropes to choke her. Tyler forces Alexxis to her feet, lifting her for a slam, but she manages to escape and slaps him again. The blonde rebounds off the ropes for a running crossbody, but Tyler catches her and rams her back into the corner. He waits for her to stand and connects with the Beauty Shot for the three count.

Flash Morgan Webster vs Corvus (With Vipress) (Future Phoenix Championship)

d9db85fb5dddeebddd95510516fd9ead.png

Corvus stalks the Modfather in the ring with a blank expression. It was almost like he was moving on instinct, not thought. Webster kept his distance at first in order to gauge Corvus’s temperament. He seemed so calm as Vipress stood on the outside, quiet as a mouse. Morgan charges him and Corvus lets the champion shoulder tackle him. He lays on the mat with the same blank stare. Morgan tried for the double foot stomp and Corvus rolls out of the way this time. He grabs the legs and crosses them together before reaching down to yank on the arms in a surfboard submission. He lets go after a few seconds, shoving his boot in the back of the champion’s head down to the mat.

Corvus takes control now, tossing Flash into the corner and delivering multiple strikes to the gut. Morgan tries to fight back and Corvus slaps him across the face. The Modfather is stunned we Corvus lifts slings him out of the corner. He strikes the back with a harsh kick before attempting the pin. Webster kicks out at one. This slow, calculated attack was different from what Morgan anticipated and it was working against him. He tried to stand, only for Corvus to kick him in the abdomen, knocking him over. Corvus hovers over Flash’s back and takes his nails down the skin, watching as Morgan cried out in pain. Vipress looked pleased on the outside. She watches Corvus lift Morgan up high for suplex, but Webster counters into a neckbreaker.

Vipress frowns deeply as Flash slowly gets to his feet. Corvus stands just as the champion connects with a kick to the chest. He follows up with a spinebuster before rebounding off the ropes for a cannonball splash for the pin. Corvus kicks out and Flash drives heavy knees into the face, showing some unforeseen aggression. The champion gains some momentum now, forcing Corvus into the corner. He uppercuts the man before getting to the second rope to follow up with a dropkick. Vipress looks on in silence with some concern as her partner retreats to the apron. The Modfather attempts to shoulder tackle him and misses, catching a running knee to the face. The challenger steps through the ropes and rolls Morgan up before following through into low kick. Dazed and disorientated, Morgan can’t stop Corvus when he locks in the Hell’s Gate submission and taps out.

Corvus is awarded the championship, but he doesn’t take it. Vipress retrieves it for him and smiles.

“You did well. This body is proud. I can feel it.”

She offers him a warm smile and he finally has a smile of his own. The lights suddenly blackout. The fans are hysterical, fearful, and Vipress suddenly lets out an earth-shattering scream. As the lights return, a hole was made in the center of the ring. Red and orange embers flare up around Vipress as she’s being drugged down. Corvus races to save her just as Harlow showed her face from behind Vipress. The young witch let out a hellish scream of terror as her former master drug her down, sealing the hole shut. Corvus beats on the mat, clawing at where the hole used to be as he lets out frustrated grunts. The championship was the only thing left of her.

Atwell with Sami Callihan (And Allysin Kay)

d227f22de6b594ad73cce0f7d533d75a.png

Hayley raises the mic to her lips, somewhat nervous as tries to approach Sami backstage. “Sami? Sami! I just wanted a quick word—“

“I’ve got nothing to say to you, Hayley. Allysin won last week. There’s no other way to put it. Now fuck off.”

“I was just wondering what’s the next step for you in PCW?”

“What part of fuck off did you not—“

“Sami, relax. She’s just doing her job,” Kay says as she steps into view. “You should be angrier that you didn’t get booked tonight. I know I am. We carried the show last week if you ask me, but I’ve been down this road with Quack. Taya claims to be different, but she’s following a similar path. I don’t know about you, but this shit won’t go on for much longer if I have anything to say about it.”

Sami looks on in silence as Kay smiles, licking her lips. “If you wanna mope around backstage like a big ass baby, go right ahead. I did what I needed to do to move up the ladder. You can stay hurt and mad about it or you can move on. Either way, I’m about to be back on top again and I expect your dusty ass to stay out of my way this time... Or risk getting dat ass beat again.” Sami tenses up just as Allysin pretends to shoot him before leaving. Hayley tries to get more out of Sami, but he said all that he wanted to for the time being.

Scarlett Bordeaux vs Shaul Guerrero (Heart of Phoenix Championship)

a298aca8eed9c9479ed191f9d00e6e5a.png

Vicky watches on the outside as Guerrero takes it to Bordeaux. The woman takes her down with multiple clotheslines before whipping her into the ropes. Scarlett shrieks as Shaul connects with a forearm. She tosses Bordeaux to the mat and climbs the second rope. The blonde distracts the rest, pretending to be hurt, while Vicky shoves Shaul to the mat. She drags Guerrero outside the ring and stomps down on her before running to the opposing side an innocent smile. Bordeaux is in control now, beating down on Shaul on the outside.

Bordeaux rams the back into the apron before slamming her head onto it. She tosses Shaul back in for the pin, but she kicks out. Bordeaux slams the head multiple times into the mat before forcing Shaul to her feet. She plants Guerrero with a sideslam before showing off to the crowd. She blows them a kiss before attempting a handspring splash. Shaul gets the knees up and locks in an armlock behind the back. Scarlett is in trouble, shrieking as she kicks her legs. Haskins looks ok with concern as Scarlett inches over until her foot touches the ropes. Shaul tries to pull her away and Vicky thumbs the eye. Bordeaux is able to recover and take Shaul down with a running bulldog for the pin. Guerrero kicks out again.

The blonde has had enough, trying to set up for the Scarlett Letter, but Shaul manages to counter into a roll-up. Scarlett kicks out, but is on the receiving end of a superkick. She staggers and Shaul follows up with the Three Amigos to pin the champion and win the title.

Vicky looks on in shock and tries to comfort Scarlett in the ring as Shaul holds the belt up high. She exits the ring, hugging the Championship right. Bordeaux is fuming and she glares at Vicky. “You... You...FIVE!” She slaps Vicky hard and tosses the woman into the corner. Vicky’s shoulder crashes with the ring post, but Scarlett continues her attack, ramming the hurt shoulder into the steel steps before stepping down on it.

Bordeaux pretends to kick dust on Vicky before leaving the woman battered and alone.

Atwell with Will Ospreay

8822eaa8a61f7aa91e11b30a989cd700.png

Hayley raises the mic to her lips with a soft smile as Will Ospreay stands next to her. “My guest at this time is a longtime PCW talent—Will Ospreay. Will, you recently just earned your seventh point last week. You now have the power to challenge the new champions in Corvus and Shaul. Corvus is currently in a vulnerable state with what happened to Vipress. Will you capitalize?”

Ospreay takes a moment to think about her question before sighs heavily. “Despite all the crap that those two have put Morgan Webster and me through...I won’t stoop to their level. I hope he finds out what exactly happened to Vipress. That said, my eyes are always looking for opportunities. I may very well challenge Shaul instead or hold my points until I can challenge Jenny...or Taya.”

“Lately, you and Morgan have been backing each other up in the ring. Are you interested in possibly making that a permanent thing? There will be tag titles to fight for very soon, after all.”

“It's a possibility. I never say never to something new. When I came to PCW, I wanted to break out on my own and it took forever. I mean, I ran into plenty of roadblocks—more than anyone else on this roster. I’m finally breaking out onto my own and getting the shine I couldn’t in 2018. If that shine continues with a partner, I’m down with that.”

(Dual Phoenix Championship)

Round 1

d2886ab8fde5272d36cc685f255d4239.png

The Cycle of Life and Death faces off against Spike and Zara in the first round. Spike worked incredibly well with Zara, the two isolating Taeler early on in the match. Sabre drives a kick to the head of Kelly before connecting with a faceplant for a close two count. She tags in Spike, who takes control of Priscilla with a side headlock. Kelly slowly fights her way out, getting to her feet before shoving Trivet off. He goes for a clothesline, but she counters into the Octopus Stretch. Trivet drops to his knees, but refuses to tap out. Priscilla lets him go and tags in Hendrix before the two drop him with a double backbreaker. Taeler isolates him from Zara, slamming his head into the mat before backing him into a corner. She drives a hard forearm into the face before executing a handstand and following through with a headscissors takedown. Trivet tries to tag in Zara, but Kelly is already behind her and yanks her down from the apron. She sends Zara into the barricade as Taeler kisses Trivet before ending him with the piledriver for the Kiss Goodnight.

Round 2

6dc65277852f62de724612fa5e36f406.png

Hania and Crazy Ant are next to the ring. Hania looked a bit off, eyes darting all over the arena. Crazy Ant was too busy being concerned with her that Hendrix was able to knock him down with a shoulder tackle. She goes for an elbow drop, but he rolls out of the way. Crazy takes control with a body scissors submission, but Taeler fights her out before tagging in Priscilla. Crazy tags in Hania and she slowly enters the ring. She doesn’t waste time beating down on Priscilla. She tears at the woman, having some unsettled rage towards her. Her memory was hazy, she couldn’t understand why she wanted Kelly dead, but she bit down on the arm hard enough to draw blood anyhow. Kelly kicks her off and scrambles into her corner. “Hania! You have to calm down! Remember your human side.” Something about the blood set her off. She didn’t hear a word he said. All she wanted to do was hunt, so she knocked Taeler off the apron and attacked Priscilla until she could hardly stand. Crazy Ant had seen enough and attempted to stop her, but he fell victim to a bite. She almost tore the skin from his shoulder and clawed his chest. Scott was stunned and fell back, trying to run. Security was forced to contain Hania and take Crazy Ant out of the ring for medical care. Kelly was patched up, still able to compete.

Round 3

08a615c32c23f3f9a0bd45942c26bda0.png

The surprise team of Morgan Webster and Will Ospreay enters the arena. They take on the two women without hesitation. Having been working together lately, their teamwork was impeccable tonight. Ospreay kept Kelly off her feet with his aerial techniques, almost getting the pin with a standing moonsault. Priscilla retreated to Hendrix just as Will tagged in Morgan. These two had history, but Webster was no longer under her control and showed it by taking Taeler down. The two women had already been through two matches, so it was no surprise that they were struggling. Morgan forced Hendrix into the corner and the two took her down with a snapmare into a double superkick for the pin.

Round 4

379dc0c74d72f2a691d9b2137ffe5c64.png

Tessa and Indi were fresh and ready to go. Indi made sure to show off her impressive techniques as she kept Morgan off his feet. She tried for the early legdrop, but Webster was able to stand in time and force her to stop. They locked up and Webster used his technical skill to lock in a body stretch. He slams the fists onto the abdomen before transitioning the hold into a powerbomb. Hartwell kicks out of the pin. She elbows Webster back in order to tag in Blanchard. The Diamond showed Morgan she was not easy pickings, forcing him to tag in Ospreay. Tessa was able to keep up with his speed, matching him in agility. The brunette caught him with a spinning DDT. She went up high, looking for the finisher, but Will knocked the legs out from under her. He tosses her off with a hurricarana and tags in Morgan. The men double teamed her with a spinebuster, but she still kicks out. Morgan tries to whip her into the ropes, but she counters with a forearm. Tessa sends him into her corner and charges with a clothesline. She then follows up with a dropkick to the midsection before tagging in Hartwell. The two connect with a double legdrop. Hartwell attempts the pin, but Ospreay breaks it up. Blanchard takes him out of the ring and follows up with a suicide dive. Hartwell goes for another legdrop and misses. Webster follows up with a cannonball before going up high for the 450 Splash to advance.

Round 5

e4e43cb585735a89a526fc33add29ca4.png

The two men were exhausted, but they held their own with Natalya and Frankie. The women overpowered them easily, Frankie nearly getting the pin on Ospreay. She connects with a bucklebomb before tagging in Natalya. Nattie whips Frankie into the corner for a powerful clothesline to Will before she follows up with a corner hip attack. Natalya tries setting up the Sharpshooter, but Ospreay makes it to the ropes. She lifts him for a suplex before tagging in Frankie again. The younger partner tried to go for a fisherman suplex, but Will manages to counter into a bridged suplex. Frankie kicks out and he tags in Morgan who flies from the top with a moonsault into the pin. Frankie kicks out at two. Morgan tags in his partner for the snapmare into the superkicks again to advance to the final round.

Round 6

bf17afbb1c047183fc86ae7c535463f0.png

Jimmy and Zack make their entrance. Will and Webster are exhausted. They can barely stand in their respective corner. Sabre has no problem with an easy victory and tries to submit Ospreay early on with the Rings of Saturn. Will refuses to tap, using the ropes to kick back and roll through to pin the shoulders. Zack is forced to release the hold. Tired as he is, Ospreay manages to dodge a clothesline and connects with a backstabber. Zack tried to crawl to Jimmy and Ospreay stops the tag with a low dropkick to the face. He drags Zack to his corner and Webster tags himself in. Morgan lifts Zack up and drops his face onto the turnbuckle. He tries for a running big boot, but Zack dodges it and connects with a neck breaker.

He tags in Havoc and the man goes to work trying to break Morgan in half. He stretches out the back over his knee, wanting to see Webster tapout. He refuses and drives multiple knees into the face to escape. Ospreay was still tired, but he wanted the tag. Webster obliged, albeit concerned. Will springboards with a dropkick to send Jimmy to the mat. He uses technical skills to lock in the crucifix submission, but Jimmy wasn’t going to tap. He counters into a slam for the pin. Will kicks out. Jimmy slams the head into the corner before chopping the chest. He lifts Ospreay up high on the third turnbuckle for a suplex. Both men are down and in need of a tag. They both reach their partner in time and the race for the win.

Zack and Will going back and forth with holds and manoeuvres, using equal agility to keep it even. Sabre catches Morgan with a knee and goes for the Cremation Lily, but Morgan refuses to tap, making it to the ropes. He’s exhausted, however, and Zack tags in Jimmy to finish him off. Havoc forces him to his feet, getting caught with a rollup with Webster stacking all his weight onto Jimmy to get the victory. New and first tag team champions: Will Ospreay and Flash Morgan Webster.

Jenny Blake vs Taya Valkyrie (Rising Phoenix Championship)

f9a4b41e4b459389b8b8bbcf0b47b881.png

Both women circled the ring, neither really making a move yet. Blake charged towards Taya first and the two women locked up. Valkyrie wasn’t the same scrawny blonde from seven years ago. She had evolved in both power and speed. Valkyrie easily overpowered Jenny and forced her to her knees before kneeing the redhead in the face. Blake is down while Taya arrogantly steps on the back and throws her arms up high in the air. The fans boo her heavily, but the doesn’t stop Taya from lifting Blake up for a side gut wrench powerbomb for the pin. Jenny kicks out at one.

Valkyrie continues to wear down on Jenny, pulling the arm behind Jenny’s back before stepping down hard on said arm. Blake screams in pain before being dropped with a kick to the face. Taya gets only a two count this time around and glares at the referee. She looks to set Jenny up for the Road to Valhalla, but Blake fights her way out of it and forearms Taya back. She drives a knee into the gut before rebounding off the ropes for a huracarrana. Valkyrie crawls into the corner and Blake connects with a body splash for the pin. Taya powers out early on. Jenny tries to go up high, looking for a moonsault, but Taya knocks the legs out from under her. She gets up on the second rope and delivers a German suplex from the top. Jenny rolls away too far for the immediate pin, but Valkyrie didn’t stop her beatdown. She stomps down on Jenny multiple times and Blake uses the ropes to lean on. Taya connects with the running double knees before dragging Blake to the center for a pin. She kicks out at two.

Valkyrie lifts Blake up on the shoulders and the champion fights back, countering into a sunset flip for the pin. Taya kicks out. Both women get to their feet, now showing their Lucha Libre side as they raced across the ring with speed and agility the most on this roster didn’t posses. Counter for counter, move for move—they kept up with each other as if it were 2012 again. Jenny got the upper hand with a sleeperslam and looked to set Taya up for the Canadian Destroyer.

She counters into an Alabama Slam and sets Jenny up for the Perra, Por Favor. One...two...Jenny kicks out. Valkyrie looks on in shock and rage, now arguing with the referee. “GET OUT OF MY RING! I WANT A NEW REFEREE! You’re fired! Go!” The ref sullenly exits the ring just as Blake turns Valkyrie around to land the Canadian Destroyer. She has the pin, but no one is present. Another referee finally races down the ramp to count and Taya kicks out at two. Blake, frustrated now, sends Taya into the ropes. She rebounds and tackles Blake to the mat. Taya slowly gets up and drags her to the apron as she slides out. She grabs the legs and puts those furry boots to the apron before falling back. Jenny slingshots into the bottom rope before Taya completely drags her out onto the floor.

Valkyrie drags a table out from under the ring and the fans start to scream “cheater! YOU CAN’T DO THAT!” and the blonde flips them off. “I make the rules here! Cállense, cabrones!” She sets the table up and attempts to shove Jenny on top, but Blake chops get in the chest. Taya doesn’t back down, chopping her back. The two women go back and forth, reddening each other’s chests before Taya shrieks, the Wera Loca side coming out. She charges, but Jenny ducks out of the way and Valkyrie gods shoulder first into the ringpost. The referee has lost complete control of this match. Blake was slamming her fists down on the back of Valkyrie as she tried to escape.

Since Taya wanted to play dirty, Jenny would happily oblige by pulling a steel chair from ringside. She sat Taya in the chair before climbing the apron and leaping off with a cannonball. Both women crash to the floor and Jenny tosses Taya back into the ring for the pin. Valkyrie still kicks out at two. Blake slams her fists on the mat. “JUST STAY DOWN!” She slams Taya’s head repeatedly into the mat. The Dynamite Diva forces Taya to her feet and shoves her into the corner. She chops the general manager into the chest and sets her up high on the turnbuckle. The champion makes the perilous climb, looking to take Taya down with a hurricarana, but Valkyie’s strength comes into play.

She holds Jenny up high and instead tosses her to the outside on the table. Blake cracks it, but it refuses to break entirely. Valkyrie climbs high and leaps off for a moonsault and breaks the table as she lands on top of Jenny. No matter how they feel about Taya, the fans break out into a “holy shit” chant before chanting “Lucha! Lucha! Lucha!” The referee checks on both women, almost throwing the match out for a double knockout, but Taya stirs and gets to her knees first. She weakly stands, forcing Blake to her feet, but the champion still has some fight. She forearms Taya and the general manager strikes back, the two going back and forth again. Blake slaps Taya across the face and sends her into the ring. She grabs the steel chair and slides into the ring, looking to strike, but Valkyrie superkicks the chair back into the face.

Taya takes a moment to recuperate before setting Jenny up for the Canadian Destroyer, but Blake counters and flips Taya over. The blonde lands on her feet and drives a back kick into the gut. She goes for the Perra, Por Favor again, but Jenny slams fist after fist onto the back and connects with another Canadian Destroyer to hook the legs for the pin. One...two....three! Jenny has done it! She beat the general manager and retained the title.

Blake is awarded the belt as Valkyrie rolls out onto the apron. The referee checks on her as Jenny celebrates with the PCW fans. Valkyrie was seated in the corner... But she was smiling. Moments later, Tyler Breeze cones racing out. He takes Jenny down from behind before removing his fur coat. He was finally using his title opportunity and Blake was in no condition to fight. That didn’t stop her from doing so, sending Breeze through the ropes with a huracarrana. Valkyrie is up on her feet now and comes up from behind with a the Road to Valhalla before Breeze is back in the ring and hooks the legs.

The referee counts faster than usual and Tyler has now won the championship. Taya grins as she rolls out the ring, high-fiving the referee as he makes his exit. Breeze joins Taya on the outside as she’s given a mic.

“You really thought you won tonight, but I always walk away with the victory. Plan B, bitch.” Valkyrie raises Tyler’s arm up high and leaves Jenny in the ring broken & empty-handed.

Harlow & Vipress

927ce0f07c0f7de9d6195066782aef72.png

Vipress’s body drops below the PCW building. She falls on a pile of what felt like dirt. She couldn’t see anything. Couldn’t hear anything, either. She felt her way around, realizing the ceiling wasn’t far from her head. The smell of dirt and slight crumblings of rock only meant one thing—she was underground. Buried alive?! Just like Hania... She became panicky, beating on the solid ceiling as she screams for Corvus, but her voice doesn’t travel. “CORVUS! PLEASE! PLEEEAAASE! GET ME OUT! GET ME OUT! GET ME—“

“He can’t hear you,” Harlow said. The voice was uncanny but familiar all the same. Vipress gulped. Her eyes barely adjusted to the dark.

“Think Vipress. Think...” She calmed herself before mumbling an incantation to herself. Light glows from her the necklace around her neck and she shines it all over. There were tunnels leading in three directions. She sighed and went straight ahead.

“Corvus?” She said in a whisper. “Please help me...”

Harlow’s laughter can be heard from afar and Vipress picked up the pace. She turned right, then straight ahead before making a left. Minutes passed before anything changed. She found a source of light up ahead and raced for it. The woman found a hole above her and crawled through. Freedom at l—she was in the same room she started in. “That’s not...how? NO! NO! NO!”

The room then slowly started to sway. Vipress feel nauseous and dropped to her knees. Harlow’s laugh steadily grew in Vipress’s head and the woman groans in pain. “Stop...STOP IT! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!” The room was swirling, the voices were excruciating, blood dripping from her nose. Vipress passes out.

She awakes again to find herself in a new room, but a familiar room. The same room she stole Harlow’s spellbook from. She still had it, but clearly, Harlow doesn’t need the book to cast anything. Vipress tried to look for a way out, but doors remain locked. She heard footsteps from behind and turned to see Harlow’s shadow growing from down the hall. Vipress raced behind the cauldron.

The rancid order filled her nose and the demon covered her mouth to keep from gagging. Harlow’s footsteps were loud now as she entered the room, humming to herself. Glass and paper were being moved around, but she dared not looked to confirm that. The exit was still wide open. Harlow moved further away towards the bookshelf, oblivious to her presence. Vipress slowly crawled towards the door. She spotted Harlow near the altar, praying now with her back turned.

She kept going, getting halfway there before realizing the prayers had stopped. She looked and the priestess was gone. She shifted her head back and Harlow stood in front of her, bent over backwards, eyes black with rage and evil. She flicked a forked tongue out and smiled. “Welcome home.”

Vipress was still, frozen in fear as Harlow’s mouth widened. The skin tore on the sides, but it didn’t seem to bother the priestess at all. A forked tongue slithered out and an eye appeared at the back of her mouth. “AAAAAAHHHH!”

The demon awoke moments later on top of the slap of stone Harlow used for...rituals. Blood was dried beneath Vipress. She hadn’t had a ritual in awhile. The priestess paces beside her body. She tried to move, but there was an invisible force holding her down.

“You took everything from me, Vipress. How could you do such a thing?” She finally turned to face Vipress and her face was as it always has been. No eye, no forked tongue. Did she imagine all of it? Harlow stopped beside the demon and smiled. “I gave you everything...and you betrayed me. This time, Vipress, you will not run from me.”

Harlow grabbed the woman by her face with one hand, nails digging deep enough into her cheeks to make them bleed, forcing open her mouth in a slight gasp. Harlow’s eyes blackened once more and widened her mouth. She gagged until what appeared to be something of a black leech wiggled from her lips. Vipress couldn’t close her mouth in time and it dropped in, slithering down her throat without hesitation. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head, black veins beginning to appear underneath her pale skin.

Vipress twitched, jerked her head from side to side as her entire eye darkened to a black hue. Then nothing. She went still, staring at the ceiling. Harlow stepped back and smiled. “Sit up.” And she did...like a mindless puppet. “We have work to do, Vipress. Come along.”

“Yes, Mistress.”
