PCW Live: Long Day's Journey into Marinara
Guantanamera
The recording began as it normally would. The therapist replayed the video from last night, trying to understand what happened. Earlier this morning, she entered the cell to find it empty. Her office was trashed when she went to file a report. Desk turned over, chair tossed to the wall and windows were broken. Files were thrown everywhere, blanketing the ground like papery snow. She needed to understand, to get into his head.
In the video, Black sat crosslegged in the middle of the padded cell, arms strapped down around him. The clock high up on the wall was his only escape from the reality of isolation. It was his guide, his northern lights, showing him the way. The hands ticked on by, second after second and minute after minute, until hours had passed. Then the clock finally struck midnight. He smiled. The camera glitched momentarily, a feminine face, ashen white with white eyes quickly flashed on the screen with a hellish scream. The therapist jumps back, nearly knocking over the chair she sat in.
Black looked to the camera before turning his head to the door. It opened, but guards did not enter. A woman, long, silvery hair and cloaked in a dark robe, came forward. She knelt in front of him and cupped his chin with her hand. “He’s turning out nicely...” she whispered before reaching into her robe. She retrieved a knife and made a superficial cut along his cheek. Blood dripped from the tip and she lightly tapped it against the top of a bottle. It mixed with a green concoction, and as she swirled it, became a burgundy hue. “Drink,” the mystery woman demanded as she shoved the bottle between his lips.
Black tried his best to drink, choking on the liquid. His face contorted as if it were a disgusting taste. Some spilt to the floor, rolled down his neck and onto his straight jacket, but most was guzzled down. She stepped back, watching the aftermath with glee. The man let out an agonized cry, dropping over onto his back. Aleister rolls on the padded mat, convulsing inside his jacket as his eyes bulged from his head. He turned away from the camera, still crying out as his hair shortened, growing all over his head now, and his tattoos started to vanish. His build grew, becoming more muscular than before. It was too much for the jacket and it ripped apart.
The therapist looked on in bewilderment as this unfamiliar figure stood up. The woman quickly left the room, disappearing into thin air as she touched the doorknob. This man looked to the camera and grinned before it went black. The therapist quickly shifted to the office camera...and there he was again. He tore apart her room, shredding it to pieces. All her belongings and files were thrown all over, but what was he looking for?! He stopped as a file floating down caught his eye. He snatched it up before laughing to himself. “I knew she was here. I could smell it all over this place...” He continued to look through the files, grabbing more and more papers to collect before finally leaping out the window from the fiftieth floor.
“How is th—?”
“Possible?” She shrieked as she whipped around. The woman in the video stood with her back to the wall, smiling as she looked the therapist over. “Call it ‘magic,’" she says with a smirk. “Now what are we going to do with you? I really wanted to avoid casualties, but you just had to be nosey. Forgot humans use these camera systems to spy on others. I need no such technology, but people do what they can with the little power they have.” She looks to the therapist, who was stunned into silence, tears falling down cheek. “Corvus, take care of this one.”
Hands wrapped around her chin and started to pull her over the rumble in her office. She started to panic. “PLEASE, NO! Please, please—I have a family! I won’t say anything! Please, let me go! I won’t even come back. I’ll get a different job, switch cities, switch states—please, just let me l—“ Her neck twisted to one side, a sickening crack echoing through the office. Her figure slumps on the floor with a thud, body limp with death. Her eyes stared blankly to the wall, all signs of life void from them.
Corvus starts to drag her body, but Vipress snaps her finger. “No. Psychiatrist goes crazy with love, releases an insane patient, then falls to her death out of guilt. Almost like a Joker-Harley sequel...but better. Less romanticized. Toss the body.” Corvus sent the woman flinging from the fifth floor, watching as her body connects with the pavement, head cracked open, and blood spilling onto the ground beneath her.
Logan Square Auditorium
Allysin Kay vs Brian Pillman
Before the bell even rang, Kay charged in with a big boot to the shoulder. Brian backs into the corner, unable to dodge a barrage of forearms to the face. Kay grabs him by the hair and yanks out of the corner solely to hold him still for a hard chop to the chest. Pillman drops to one knee and Allysin wastes no time slapping him across the face to knock him off balance. Kay backs off finally, leaning against the ropes. “Talk a lot of shit for someone sitting on their ass right now. Get yo ass up, boy!” Pillman slowly stands, just as she commanded, but blocks an oncoming boot. He shoves her back, forcing her to roll through, and follows up with a running knee to the face for the cover. Allysin immediately kicks out.
The woman is stunned as he yanks her up by the hair and chops her in the chest. He backs her into the corner this time with multiple kicks to the abdomen before looking to charge in with a running knee. She catches him in midair and drops his back against the turnbuckle. Kay then rushes in with a clothesline, whipping him into the opposite corner for a big boot to follow. Brian drops to the mat and she hooks the leg for a two count. Allysin drags him to the center of the ring before wrapping the leg around hers. She twists the ankle, dropping down to one knee to bend the leg at an angle. Pillman struggled to escape, gritting his teeth in agony as she twists the ankle again. Kay eventually turns him over for a leglock, using her own legs to trap his before twisting the ankle even more. Brian drags himself to the rope, the only way to escape from her hold.
She releases him at four and backs up. Pillman slowly gets to his feet, slightly limping. She races in for s clothesline, but he sends her over the ropes. Kay lands on the apron, but misses the shoulder block. Brian gets the knee up into the chest and pulls her through for a hangman neckbreaker from the second rope. He hooks leg, but she kicks out at two. Brian lifts her up in a headlock, but she quickly lifts him up and over with a backdrop over the ropes. Pillman drops to the floor and Allysin is after him in seconds. She has him up and he forces her back into the apron. Pillman clobbers the back and slams the face against the apron before trying to roll her in. She elbows him back on instinct and creates some distance between them. Brian grabs her long hair and it rewards him with a backfist from Kay.
Brian is stunned as Allysin has him up for the belly-to-back suplex to the floor. Both competitors are impacted as the referee counts to five. Allysin is up first and times it right as he starts to stand. She charges in and spears Brian straight into the barricade, moving the barricade out of place. The count continues and so do they as Allysin crawls to him, driving the back of his head into the floor multiple times to keep him down before slowly dragging him to his feet. She goes for a high kick to the head, but he ducks and sends her straight into the ringpost. The referee closes in on ten as the two continue to fight on the outside. Pillman looks for a weapon, grabbing a chair from under the ring. He swings, but connects with the post as Allysin ducks. She kicks the chair back into his face just as the count of ten is made.
That doesn’t stop her from mounting him, throwing punch after punch. Pillman doesn’t back down, meeting her punch for punch. He eventually drags her to her feet only to be shoved into the barricade. She knees him in the gut and tries to choke him against the barricade as referees start to file to ringside. He kicks her off and tries to gouge her eyes, neither of them backing off until the referees pull them apart.

Hardhearted Hannah
Taya approaches her office door and unlocks it with her key as Presley chews on a treat given to him earlier. The Pomerania drops his snack and barks incessantly as the door opens because an uninvited guest was stripped down to his briefs. Valkyrie wrinkled up her nose and rolled her eyes. “You’ve got to be kidding me. Maxwell, I don’t care what contract you got with Mike. Get out of my office. Now.”
“You should care because if I don’t get what I want, this entire operation shuts down and YOU will be out on your ass without a job.”
“Believe it or not, I do much more than be general manager for PCW. I know your lack of popularity makes it hard for you to find another occupation, but Taya Valkyrie has plenty of options. Now move it!” MJF smirks and points behind her.
Taya turns as two guards fold their arms across their chest. She narrowed her eyes and scoffed as Presley growls. “This is a dangerous game you’re trying to play, Maxie Pad, and I typically win because nobody plays dirty quite like me.” She looks back to him with a smile and snaps her fingers. Presley races out of the office. “And if you think for a second this won’t backfire, you’re in for a surprise.”
Maxwell yawns and shoos her away. The guards try to grab her and she instantly snatches away. “GET YOUR DIRTY, UNMANICURED HANDS OFF ME!” She shoves past them and heads to the locker room to get ready for her match later tonight.

Melissa Santos vs Katie Ford
As Santos and Katie lock up in the ring, giving it their best efforts to take home a victory, a figure appears on stage. The crowd is explosive, going crazy as Santos gets the huracarrana. They weren’t going wild for her, though, and that made her pay attention to the stage. The woman was frozen into her spot as Sami Callihan stood in the flesh, wide-eyes, and a big grin on his face as he held a small stack of papers in one hand. In the other, he held a mic and clear his throat as he started to read.
“I keep having nightmares, Dr. Danvers. Every night, I see his face...I hear his voice in my sleep, and I feel so incomplete. I’m haunted by the memory of him. What should I do...?” Melissa was too distracted to dodge s sudden clothesline. Katie hooks the leg for a two count before dragging Santos to her feet and slinging the face into the turnbuckle multiple times. Melissa fights back, shoving Forbes off her before racing in with a clothesline of her own. “I miss him,” Sami repeats as he starts to walk down the ramp with the papers in front of him. “I miss his laugh, his cries, his touch... He never even got to really be a father to Skylar. He was so excited to be in her life...” Sami tosses paper after paper aside, freezing the woman where she stood.
Santos was shaking, both from his sudden appearance, signifying that he had somehow come back to life, and the from the memories he forced back into her mind from therapy. “Dr. Danvers, I don’t think I can live anymore. I don’t think I can go on being haunted by the thought that he died because of me. He lost his life because I was too weak to fight my own battles... It’s my fault and I deserve to die, not him! I should’ve died that nigh, not Sami!”
“Stop! Sami, please stop!” Melissa screams from the ring, on the verge of tears as he reads off her therapy sessions with the same woman who was his therapist.
“And I wondered why she picked me to treat,” he says as he tosses the rest of her confidential files to the floor. Santos is lifted up from behind with a back suplex into a bridged pin by Katie. She kicks out at two. Katie tries for the big boot, but Melissa ducks under it and tries to rebound off the ropes, but Callihan grabs the legs and pulls her out of the ring. He slams the back into the apron before lifting her up. Sami slams her back into the ringpost before dropping her into the floor with a spinebuster.
Melissa was flat on the floor, barely conscious and gasping for air as he stood over her. Katie didn’t dare interfere as Callihan looks down at Melissa and spits on her. “It took awhile to finally break through and take over his body, but as soon as I was able to break his psyche? I knew he was mine. Now I get take revenge on the very woman who I would’ve laid my life down for in another lifetime. I’m baaaaack, you sons of bitches. And I’m twice as vile and disgusting as before.” He kicks Santos across the face to knock her out, gaining boos from the crowd.
Austin Aries vs Fire Ant
Fire gave it his best efforts, but Austin seemed to have an answer for every attack. Fire Ant eventually caught him with a spin kick and quickly takes him down with a neckbreaker. Fire kips up and goes up high, but Austin wouldn’t stay down for long. He knocks Fire Ant’s legs out from under him and drops the man from the top with a DDT to the mat. He looks for the pin, but Fire Ant kicks out.
Aries has him up and whips the insect into the corner for a running forearm, but Fire slips through the ropes. He tries to springboard back in, but Aries forearms him and sends him back into the ring with a suplex. Austin looks for another pin, but he kicks out. Aries was getting close to losing it. He tries for the pendulum elbow drop, but Fire rolls out the way and gets the dropkick for the pin.
Austin kicks out, but quickly transitions into an armbar. He pulls and pulls before snapping back the arm. Fire Ant rolls on the mat in pain as Aries starts to beat down on him with relentless fury. His eyes start to glow a bright red as he lays in fist after fist, bruising the shoulders and arms. Austin takes Fire Ant by the mask, nearly ripping it, before dropping him with the brainbuster to put him away.
Aries doesn’t stop there, putting Fire into the Horns of Aries submission. The insect’s arms bends at horrible angles, irritating the already injured arm. The referee has to send security out as Austin looks to completely tear off the arms. He’s dragged off his opponent and forced out of the ring, but the damage was done and Austin relished in it.

The vamp of Savannah
Spike Trivet was front and center with Zara right by his side this time around. The Fourth Circle remains behind him as he speaks, eyes staring daggers into the screen. “I hope you appreciated the gift I sent you, Bordeaux,” he says as he pats Zara on the head. She slowly starts to grin as he pulls her close. “Don’t worry. She won’t be present for Moonstruck. I wholeheartedly plan to leave you in a heap of mangled pieces myself, but until that time comes? I am going to make you suffer for the way you wronged Pavor and stole his crowning moment... This isn’t just about your championship, Scarlett. I have every intention on making you realize that the Fourth Circle is not a group of people you should take lightly.” He looks over to Zara and whispers something in her ear before lightly kissing her forehead. She slinks off the screen as Kelly takes center stage.
“Speaking of nuisances, my dear sister has yet to realize she’s been outsmarted and overpowered. She sat and watched as I snapped my niece’s arm like a twig and still wished to do battle. It’s almost like the goddess incarnate seeks a death wish...” Kelly looked far off from the screen in deep thought before her eyes dart back towards the screen. “Do you wish to die, Taeler? Would you like to join me on the otherside...?” Kelly starts to laugh, twirling a single, black rose between her fingers. She smiles, intending to walk away, but Hendrix’s image suddenly cuts in beside the circle’s.
Hendrix smiles, her grin wide with a secret she’s yet to reveal. The redhead is seen sitting on a throne made completely out of ivy and deadly nightshade. They intertwined along the wooden seat, some of the ivy slithering up her toned legs, dancing along the width of her thighs. Tiger Lilies bloom from the palm of her hand and the armrest of the chair. She crushes the one in her hand before swallowing it while. A bundle sat on her crossed legs and wiggles slightly. “You wish to kill me? First, let me even the odds and remind you of who you are dealing with, sister. I am not an ordinary woman. You know this, but continue to play with me like I am just another meal. Darling, if you want to take a bite out of me, expect a bitter taste to follow.” The bundle moves in her lap and even whines a bit. “Have you checked on your son lately?” Taeler reaches down and picks up the bundle, causing it to cry out. Priscilla looks on in utter confusion and rage before shrieking. Taeler waves a few fingers to the screen as a red rose sprouts from her mouth, soaked in blood before it goes black while Kelly continues to breakdown right before the circle’s eyes.

Rocket Stars vs Taya Valkyrie & ???
Chelsea Green joins Taya by her side to take on Rocket Stars. Green locked up with Arisa first, getting the headlock before Hoshiki counters with a belly-to-side suplex onto her head. Chelsea rolls away into the ropes, grabbing onto Taya as Arisa tries to drag her in. The referee tries to get Arisa back from the ropes and Taya jabs the eyes, allowing Green to roll her up. Arisa kicks out at two, but eats a kick to the face. Chelsea has her up by the hair and whips the Joshi into the corner for Taya to tag in. Both women corner Arisa with a double snapmare into superkick. Taya covers her for a two count.
She puts Arisa in the chinlock, trying to choke her out. Jenny cheers Hoshiki on from their corner, getting the crowd to go along with her. Hoshiki gets to her feet, connecting with a sitout jawbreaker to force Taya back. She tries to tag in Jenny, but Taya grabs the hair and slams her down. Valkyrie then races in with a forearm to knock Jenny down before laying in stomps to Arisa. Blake is back in and chasing Taya out the ring. Chelsea hops down to block Jenny’s path and Valkyrie is back in to beat on Arisa. She yanks her up for a suplex, but Hoshiki counters into a packaged pin. Taya kicks out at two.
Hoshiki connects with a quick dropkick to the back to keep Taya down. Valkyrie rolls into the corner and tags in Chelsea. Arisa takes her on with multiple punches before connecting with a knee to the gut. She follows up with a neckbreaker for the two-count. Green rolls out of the ring and Arisa is quickly after her with a senton from the apron. She looks to toss Chelsea back in, but Taya gets the boot to the chest. Blake climbs up high for a crossbody to take down Valkyrie. She helps Arisa send Chelsea back in, but Green is quick with a jawbreaker to the chin. She whips Arisa into the ropes for a clothesline, but the Joshi ducks and counters into a backslide. One...two...three! Hoshiki pins Chelsea to earn two points.
Blake rushes in the ring to celebrate with her partner, now able to challenge for the tag team championships. Green is stunned in the ring as Taya remains on the outside with a shocked expression herself. She kicks at the barricade before demanding a mic. “Fine! You got your title match, but you better be ready because it’ll be a tornado tables match. You better not blow your opportunity because it may just be the last one you ever get.”

I got you babe
Mitchell Knight appears on the screen with a stoic expression on his face. The man looked determine to get something off his chest and he wanted the entirety of the PCW universe to hear it. “The last time you saw me compete, it was against MJF in a ladder match. He busted my face, kicked my ass, and stole my points in order to challenge Aleister Black. Luckily, he went on to fail, but I’m not here to talk about him. I wanna talk about me and my sudden drop in PCW. Just a month or so ago, I was on top of the world as the Future Phoenix Champion before Aleister Black took that away from me. I should want it back, right?”
Knight shakes his head a laughs. “A part of me does, but another part wants more. I think I’ve been in the midcard scene long enough and I’m looking for a change. Whether it’s going after Scarlett Bordeaux or Eyes of Demise, I’m looking to reinvent myself this year. I don’t want to complain about being stagnant, as if that’s management’s fault. They book who they see grow and put forth effort and I’ve been slacking lately. I can admit that...but I also know I can do better, be better, so—“
“Yadda, yadda—how long are you going to go on about this, Mitchell?” Jackal asks as he steps into view of the camera. “We get it. You’re a perpetual loser. You don’t have what it takes to be Future Phoenix Champion again, so you’d rather label it a midcard title and run along to a ‘better’ division. The truth is you can’t get anything better because you’re far below the baseline for what’s considered good in PCW.”
“And you’re better? You haven’t even been present for weeks and it’s because PCW neatly forgets your existence,” Mitchell spits back with a scowl on his face. Phil laughs and rolls his eyes as he clears his throat. “Taya is clearly saving me for somebody bigger and better than the likes of you and the rest of this roster.”
“If you’re so damn good,” Knight says as he pushes Jackal back. “Prove it against me.” Phil doesn’t back down, stepping in towards Knight with a smirk.
“Gladly.”

Scarlett Bordeaux & Tyler Breeze vs Eyes of Demise
Scarlett takes on Vipress, getting the Russian Leg Sweep early on for a quick pin. She follows up the kickout with an arm wrench on the mat. Vipress manages to roll through and reverses the wrench before kicking Bordeaux in the gut. She gets the snapmare and follows up with a boot to the face. Vipress hooks the leg for a one count. She mounts Scarlett and lays in punch after punch to the champion. She yanks the blonde to her feet and whips her into the corner for the tag. Corvus and Vipress connect with a snapmare into the running boot, followed by handspring moonsault from Corvus for the pin. One...tw—Scarlett kicks out.
The champion is grounded as Corvus has the arm behind the back, knee jammed into the side of the head to keep her down. Vipress claps up her partner as Corvus yanks Bordeaux by the hair. She manages to escape the arm wrench and quickly forearm him back. Bordeaux follows up with a kick to the gut for a corkscrew neckbreaker for the pin. One...t—Corvus kicks out. Scarlett shakes the pain from her arm and has the tag champion up for a whip into the corner. She connects with a body splash and follows up with a bulldog from behind for another two count. She tags in Tyler and the two whips him into the ropes for a double hip toss. Bordeaux then rebounds off the ropes for the double knees to the back of the head. Tyler connects with the springboard lionsault for the pin. One...two...th—Corvus kicks out.
Breeze has him up and gets the wristlock before bringing the arm over the shoulder for several drops, bending the arm. He then connects with a hip toss to put Corvus in a seated position. Breeze looks for the superkick, but Corvus grabs the leg and slowly stands. Tyler slaps him across the face to free himself, but Corvus quickly retaliates with a headbutt to stun Breeze. Corvus quickly drops him with a spinebuster for a two count. The tag champion drags Tyler to the ropes to tag in Vipress. Tyler tries to fight them off, but Vipress stomps the chest before the both have him up for a double gutbuster. Vipress covers him for a two count.
She has him up and gets the headlock, looking for a springboard bulldog. Tyler catches her midair and drops her with a German suplex into the bridged pin. Corvus races in and breaks it up, causing Bordeaux to climb high for a crossbody. She takes him down and it’s suddenly an all-out war as both teams ignore the rules for a tornado matchup. Scarlett sends Corvus into the corner with multiple forearms as Tyler has Vipress with chops to the chest. As it seems the blonde duo would have this one, Spike and Zara races in to outnumber them. They rescue the champions from possible defeat, pulling them out of the ring.
Scarlett demands a mic and shakes her head with rage. “Is this how it’s going to be every week, Spike? Because quite frankly, I’m getting bored of these constant sneak attacks and ganging up on people you know are better than you. Next week? We’re going to make it official for Moonstruck and we’re gonna so things in my terms. I’m going to make sure that when I beat you down from a five to a three, you’ll never get brave enough to try this crap with me again.”
