Phase Eighty: Larceny and Old Lace
I wanna be loved by you

Taeler stood in the ring, mic firmly gripped in her manicured hand. The tiniest vibes slithered from them and circled around the mic just a bit, sprouting tiger lilies just barely visible to the crowd. The smile upon her face grew as she started to speak. “I gave Priscilla a fair warning from the very beginning. She had opportunity after opportunity to back down and pledge loyalty to me again, but she’s grown far too attached to her gang of rejected—“
“WHERE IS HE?!” She was abruptly cut off by Indigo Kelly as she appeared on stage, a fire burning in her eyes as rage quickly filled her heart. “Where is my brother?” She asked again in a lowered volume, but the malice in her tone was telling. She won’t ask again.
“Indigo, I told you—“
“Unless you tell me where he is...”
“You’ll what? Fight me? Kill me? Try it.” Kelly wasted no time at all sprinting to the ring. As soon as she slid in, she tackled Taeler to the mat, driving fist after fist into the face. Hendrix protected herself, rolling them over to fight back. She tore herself away from Indigo and slipped out of the ring to safety. The two locked eyes before Hendrix smiled. Kelly was about to spring to action again, but the titantron begins to play and Jay Lethal appeared. He gently rocked a bundle in his arms as a lullaby played in the background. Lethal looked to the screen with a grin before turning his back to them. The baby could be heard giggling as Jay tickled his belly, but Lethal suddenly did something and the baby started to cry with pain.
Indigo looked on in horror and went to go after Hendrix. “Jay, kill him!”
“NO! NO, please... Don’t kill him. He’s innocent! He did nothing to deserve this...” Lethal hesitated, waiting for Taeler to give the order again. His back was still to them, but he turned his neck to watch what would unfold next. Hendrix laughed and stood, slowly entering the ring. “Now that you’re aware of the current situation, send a message to your mother for me, will you, darling?”
“What mess—“ Hendrix races in and knees Indigo in the face. The woman drops back to the mat and Taeler proceeds to mimic Kelly’s octopus hold, bending back one of the arms as Priscilla did to Tefé. She pulled and pulled as Indigo screamed in pain until the woman finally showed herself. Priscilla came running out with Eyes of Demise close behind, but it was too late. Something snapped, Indigo’s eyes rolled back in pain, and she fainted.
Hendrix slipped out of the ring and into the crowd as Priscilla stared her down from the ring. Corvus and Vipress look to check on Indigo, but Kelly stopped them. “Leave it. There’s only one child that needs protecting.” Priscilla looked back to Taeler and retrieved the mic. “You say this war is far beyond the title and I’m starting to agree with you. Now, this a family affair, one that will end in blood and sacrifice. At Moonstruck, I’ll leave the championship at home because I plan to leave with something else—your head on a stick and my son in my arms again. The Hell in a Cell match you so desperately want will be granted, but let’s add one more twist, sister. Let their walls be caked in thorns. Let every touch be a reminder of the pain we cause each other. Each drop of blood will be a small sacrifice towards the end-goal—revenge. Be ready, Taeler. Arm your mind and your body for a massacre.”
Priscilla smiles before grabbing Indigo. She yanks her daughter up by the hair before wrenching on what could possibly be a broken arm. The woman hollers in pain, the victim of her mother’s hardened heart yet again. “You think I won’t do what’s necessary to see him again? Watch your niece be torn to shreds...then your second daughter, your unborn child—Taeler you have awoken a monster in me and it won’t stop until there’s somebody blood spilled.” Jelly looks to further injure Indigo, knowing how much Taeler actually cares for her, but the redhead remained out of reach, watching with slight discomfort. It was either her or Indigo and...she chose herself and her family. However, Priscilla couldn’t further hurt Indigo as Hania cones racing out to take down all three competitors. She sends the tag champions to the outside before nearly getting a DDT on Kelly, who slips from her grasp and the ring. Hania checks on Indigo, who tries to shove her back.
“Stay away from me, you damned mutt!” Hania just laughs and waves in the paramedics to help Kelly off the mat as Taeler and Priscilla stare down the wolf in confusion and curiosity.

I'd like to teach the world to sing

My challenge for AK? Simply put, I want a rematch.
I’ve always been told I won’t ever surpass the legacy my father left behind. I’ve always been told, “man if you pursue this wrestling thing, you’re going to live in his shadow.”
But over the last few months, I’ve proven that I’m more than what the critics say I am. I’ve taken every doubt thrown at me and spit it right back in their faces. A rookie like me is this good already? I haven’t even been in the business for five years and I’ve already beaten some of the greats. My match with Allysin Kay though..it ended in a count-out and that’s just not going to cut it for me. If I want to be the very best here, I need to put her away and away for good. Send her back into the hole she came crawling out of when this fucking rookie decided to call her out.
The only way I do it is in a Last Man Standing match. So what do you say, Allysin? Are you afraid to be beaten by a rookie? In a match where there can be no excuses for why you lost to me?
Or will I fail trying?

Melissa Santos vs Ivelisse Vélez vs Paige

Ivelisse takes out Santos with a sudden buzzaw kick to the head. She then tries to take advantage of Paige, but the Englishwoman catches her foot and connects with a dragon whip. She follows up with a leg snap to the mat. Velez rolls away into the ropes and Paige races in with a knee strike to the face. Ivelisse leans against the ropes, dazed, and Paige connects with an Alley Oop for the pin. One...t—Melissa races in with a running kick to the chest of Paige to breakup the count. She has Paige up and whips her into the corner for a splash. Paige ducks out of the way and chops the chest hard.
Paige looks to follow up with a tornado DDT, but Melissa shoves her off at the last second and gets the step-up enziguri. Velez tries to work her way back in with multiple forearms to the chest, but misses the high kick and is caught with a backstabber for the pin. One...two—Velez kicks out. Melissa sits Velez up and kicks the chest multiple times. She looks for the double foot stomp to the chest as she rebounds off the ropes and lands it. Santos can’t pin as Paige sends her straight into the corner from behind. Paige wants to take advantage of Ivelisse with a snap suplex into a pin. One...two...t—Velez kicked out.
Paige has her up for the RamPaige, but Velez wiggles out of it and gets the northern lights into the pin. One...two...th—Melissa flies from up high with a moonsault onto Ivelisse and hooks the legs as Paige is stunned. One...two...three! Santos earns herself two points. As she celebrates, Sami comes out to the stage. He claps slowly with a sarcastic grin on his face. Santos watches him carefully, remaining in the ring as he makes his way down. Callihan steps in, but remains across the ring from her. He claps some more for her. “What do you want from me?!?” “For you to pay for your sins.” He shot at her with a big boot, but she brings the ropes down. Sami topples over with his own momentum used against him.
Melissa quickly goes up high for a crossbody to him to take him down. The crowd cheers her on as she grabs a chair from under the ring. She looks to swing it down, but as the man rolled over, pain clearly in his eyes, she hesitated. It was long enough for him to kick her back to the floor. Callihan yanked her up by the hair and sent her flying into the barricade. He lifts the woman up high and the fans start to disperse as he aims her towards the crowd. Sami throws the woman into the row of chairs behind the barricade and watched as she crumpled to the floor. Sami laughed to himself, enjoying the sight of Santos down and unconscious.
Mitchell Knight vs Phil Jackal

The two men lock up and Jackal gets the monkey flip, sending Knight up high and back down on his back. Phil quickly rebounds off the ropes for a senton and hooks the leg for a one count. He sits Mitchell up before kicking the back with a loud pop. While Mitchell is stunned, Phil tries for the dropkick and forces Knight to roll onto the apron. Jackal goes for the shoulder block, but Knight sidesteps him and gets the boot to the face. He quickly follows up with a DDT to the apron. Jackal topples down to the floor and Knight follows up with the double foot stomp.
Knight sends Phil back in for the two count pin and transitions into an armbar. Jackal refuses to tap out and Mitchell yanks him up off the mat for an arm drag. He tries for a quick kick while Phil is kneeling, but he grabs the leg in time and kicks Mitchell down in the chest. Jackal looks for a springboard corkscrew senton onto Knight, but the man gets the knees up in time. He stands and rebounds off the ropes for a running knee to the face for another two count pin. Mitchell stomps the chest to force Jackal up and kicks him back down in the chest. He then climbs the corner, looking for a big move. Phil manages to get to his feet fast enough to knock the legs out from under Knight.
Phil forearms the face and looks to suplex Knight off the top, but he fights back. Mitchell shoves Phil back, but the man rolls through and tries for a huracarrana. Mitchell manages to hold onto the ropes and Jackal drops back to the mat. Mitchell connects with the double knees from the top into the pin. One...two...th—Jackal kicks out in time. Knight connects with a back kick to the gut as he stands and rebounds off the ropes, only for Jackal to be right behind him with a forearm against the ropes. Jackal whips him across the ring and leap frogs over him before getting headscissors takedown. He gets behind Knight with a rollup pin. One...two...—Mitchell kicks out.
Jackal gets the backslide for another two count and eats a knee strike as Mitchell escapes. He follows up with a basement huracarrana for a two count on Phil. Knight has him up and whips him into the corner for a corner crossbody. He slips out onto the apron and kicks the head before springboarding in with a dropkick to the back for another close pin. He yanks Jackal up by the hair and tries to whip him again, but Phil reverses into a forearm and tries for the brainbuster. Mitchell wiggles way out, looking for a neckbreaker, but Jackal counters that, as well, before kicking the gut. He gets the knee in the face and drops Knight with a straightjacket neckbreaker before putting all his weight on the legs for the pin. One..two...three!

I've got a crush on you

Tyler Breeze was sitting on a stool, an empty stool next to him, in the center of the ring, all set for his Shooting the Breeze talk show. His legs were crossed and he was twirling a microphone in his hand, looking annoyed. "As predicted, Pavor Nox is nowhere to be seen and I haven't heard a peep from him."
The crowd boo'd and Tyler nodded his head and shrugged. "Look, I agree. I invited him. But just like I figured, he never responded. Because as he's proven time and time again, he's gutless. He's a coward. A bottom feeder. A parasite."
Breeze stood up, stepping off of the stool and walked over to the edge of the ring, leaning against the ropes. "You don't wanna talk, Pavor? That's fine. I'm done talking too. Clearly words don't get through that dead weight on your shoulders, that you call a head. So it's time for actions. I'm challenging you, next week. You and me. One on one."
Tyler twirled the microphone in his hand again. "First Blood Match." He smirked and dropped the mic, the crowd buzzing from the challenge, as Tyler exited the ring.

Marty Scurll vs Will Ospreay

Ospreay gets the kick to the gut early on, looking for the step-up enzuigiri to stun Marty. He tries to follow up with running knee to the face, but Scurll counters with a pop-up powerbomb to the mat for a one count. Scurll has him up and whips Will into the corner for a clothesline. He tosses Ospreay out of the corner to the mat and looks for the middle rope dropkick, but Will gets out of the way in time and follows up with a single-leg dropkick to the face. Will springboards off the ropes for a moonsault onto Marty to hook the legs. “One...two...t—Marty kicks out.” Ospreay has him up and whips him into the ropes for a leapfrog. He then tries for the inverted monkey flip, but Marty lands on his feet.
Scurll looks for the clothesline, but Will dodges it for the kick that Marty successfully blocks. He uppercuts Will and tries to rebound off the ropes, yet Ospreay cuts him off with a running knee to the gut. He looks to whip him and Marty reverses into his own whip for the big boot. Will ducks under it and looks for the dropkick as he rebounds, but Scurll sidesteps him for senton. Will rolls out the way. He looks for the standing moonsault, but Scurll gets the knees up. Both men are down as the crowd applaud the show they were putting on. Marty is up first and yanks Will by the hair for another uppercut. He drops Ospreay with a third uppercut and grabs the legs. He looks to lift Will, but the man counters into a packaged pin for the two count.
Both men get to their feet and Will eats the big boot. While he’s stunned, Marty whips him into the corner and gets the back elbow to the face. He rebounds off the ropes as Will staggers out of the corner for a spear. He hooks the leg. One...two...t—Will kicks out. Scurll has him in a seated position and rebounds off the ropes for a kick to the face, but Ospreay ducks back and rolls him up for a two count. They both stand and Marty eats a chop to the chest before Will connects with a superkick. He quickly follows it up with the Stormbreaker to put Marty away for the three-count.

It's a small world

Sami is seen on the screen in black and white. It was almost like watching a VHS tape as his image statics in and out. He cranes his neck, his head sometimes violently shaking back and forth as if his body was fighting against something. “Man, this guy doesn’t give up. I take over his body and, of course, he wants it back...but I’m in control now. I’m finally back in the driver’s seat and I got a lot to address.” Callihan chuckles to himself as the video glitches out again.
“First, there’s this Future of Phoenix Championship. What kind of garbage belt is this? I am The Draw, the whole fucking show—PCW is Sami Callihan, but the best this idiot could do was the midcard scene? Pfft, I’m better than that.” Sami tosses aside the belt and shakes his head. “Unfortunately, I’m stuck with this crap, so I’ll gladly make it the best damn title this company has to offer. I don’t give a damn what Lola the Bunny is doing as PCW Champion or what Eyes of Demise—what kind of edgelord shit is that, am I right?—what they’re doing as tag champions is irrelevant. The only champion that matters this instance is Sami Callihan and I plan to steal the damn show at Moonstruck.”
“Now who is going to face me for my title? There’s several names in the hat, but somebody just earned themselves their sixth and seventh point tonight. I tried to congratulate her, but my boot slipped and nearly rammed her in the face. She’s taking care of some boo-boos I left, but she will be ready for Moonstruck, so here I am calling her out. Melissa Santos? You owe me your life. It’s what you said after all. You deserved to die, not me, and I plan to hold you to those words. At Moonstruck it’s title versus career—though, I plan to take much more from you than just a fucking job.”
“I’m going to wring you by your fucking neck and choke the life out of you...or maybe I should gut you like Bray did me while you watched. Twist and turn the blade in your abdomen, rearrange your insides, and pull them from your belly button like a gummy word until you’re dead on the floor with nothing left, but regret and tears. I’ll do whatever it takes to see you buried six feet under. By Moonstruck, Melissa, you finally die.”

The Smokeshow

The show would resume with the Rise of Phoenix Champion Scarlett Bordeaux standing in the middle of the ring. Finely manicured hand holding a microphone with the PCW logo boldly showcased. "Now, I know this isn't usually how I have an episode of The Smokeshow.." she spoke, gazing into the crowd who were slightly confused. Scarlett was adorned in cut off jean short-shorts and a cropped off version of merchandise she sold on Pro Wrestling Tees. Usually, when these segments came around, she'd be dressed to the nines. VIP ropes and furniture all around the ring. Not this time, though. This time the only regular was Bordeaux herself.
"See, I really thought about coming out here and bringing my usual extravagance and glamor.. but the fact of this matter is.. I didn't come here to simply play up a little issue or interested a five, no-no. This edition of The Smokeshow came to be because I have a match at Moonstruck. I have a match against quite possibly the biggest jerker in their circle, Spike. What a horrendous name. It's like.. your parents knew from the time you shot out of that loose vagina you were gonna be a little piece of human garbage." The crowd both gasped and laughed at these comments, not shocked by Bordeaux's brashness. It was to be expected, from talent and fans alike.
"Now since this will be my first title defense, and because the little shit has been a thorn in my side for weeks.. management gifted me the opportunity to choose the stipulation. Throw out a real challenge and that's exactly what I've got in mind." A smirk crossed Bordeaux's face as the crowd's interest began to rise. "I was sitting at home with my husband, sipping some Dom and relaxing when the idea for this match hit me."
Scarlett used her free hand to grip the championship that was shown off upon her shoulder, gaze moving towards it in appreciation. "So, Spike, you seem to.. get off on the violence.. especially when you're the victim. I get off on inflicting it and so this was a match truly made in hell. Our match at Moonstruck will be.." a deep breath was inhaled as the anticipation grew. Scarlett was always a tease.
"..an extreme facelift match!" The pitch of her voice and the excitement in her tone jumped and the crowd popped, before becoming a little confused yet again. "I know, I know. You guys don't know what that is. Allow me to explain it to you. There are no pinfalls, no submissions, no count-outs, no disqualifications, no holds barred." The crowd cheered, loving the sound of that.
"The only way to win is by making your opponent bleed. There will be beauty tools turned weapons on four poles, coming from each corner of the ring. They'll be used to break a bitch's skin and let crimson flow like a river." A devilish smirk crossed Bordeaux's lips after those words. "Moonstruck is where I will end this, and Spike baby, where I'll end you. Your little jerk-off buddies better take nice, long, hard looks at your ugly mug because when I'm done with you?.." Scarlett scoffed and laughed into the microphone. "You won't be recognizable."
The microphone was dropped to the mat, Scarlett's music blasting across the speaker system within the arena and the champ hoisting her title high above her head.

Dual Phoenix Championship Match
Tornado Tables Tag Team
Eyes of Demise vs Rocket Stars
Tornado Tables Tag Team
Eyes of Demise vs Rocket Stars

Jenny and Corvus lock up as Arisa comes out of the gates with a powerful dropkick to Vipress’s chest. The woman rolls out the ring and Arisa is on the apron for a running kick to the face. The champion drops to the floor hard and Arisa joins Blake for a double suplex to Corvus. Arisa follows up with a running kick to the back of the head to stun him while Jenny rebounds with a dropkick to the face, the team working together nicely from the start. Jenny looks to Arisa with a grin. “Tables?” Arisa nods her head vigorously as the crowd chants “we want tables! We want tables!” Jenny rolls out the ring, grabbing a table from under the ring just as Vipress attacks from behind. She rams Jenny straight into the ringpost face first. Blake drops to the floor in a daze as Arisa looks to fly with a suicide dive. Vipress catches the small woman and rams the back into the post before dropping her on top of Jenny.
Vipress slides into the ring to check on Corvus before the two slip back out to grab the table. They set it up on the outside before Corvus yanks Arisa up by the hair. He slams her face into the table and rolls the woman on top of it. Vipress slams a fist on the abdomen to make sure she doesn’t move and holds her arms down. Corvus climbs the corner nearest the table, his back to both women as the crowd starts to get rowdy. Jenny slowly gets to her feet and quickly shoulder blocks Vipress as best as she can. Vipress stumbles back, but remains on her feet. Jenny grabs the arm and uses the barricade for an elevated huracarrana onto the floor. Corvus continues the climb and looks for the moonsault onto Arisa, but she rolls off the table in time and the champion crashes straight through. Chunks of wood laid scattered around his body while he lies still. Unfortunately, Rocket Stars can only win if they put the team through a table intentionally.
Vipress scurries around the ring to avoid any danger, but Rocket Stars surround her on either side. She slips under the ring and they grab her legs, pulling her out only to be met with a kendo stick to the head. Both teammates stagger back and Vipress continues to assault them until they’re down on the floor in agony. She has Arisa up and whips the woman intotge steel steps. Arisa goes knees and gut first into the steel and is further damaged with a swift kick to the back of the knees into the steps repeatedly. She then had Arisa up on her shoulders vertically and climbs the steps. Vipress rams the shoulder into the post before dropping off the steps and slamming Hoshiki onto them face first at the same time. Hoshiki lies still as Vipress now handles Jenny. She tosses the woman into the ring just as Corvus stirs. The man uses the apron to stand and recuperate while his partner sends Blake into the corner. Vipress misses the clothesline, but as Jenny races back in for a jumping knee, Vipress catches her in the air and slams the back to the mat with a powerbomb.
Vipress ushers Corvus into the ring and the two double team Jenny with stomps to the chest and abdomen. Vipress has her up and whips her into the ropes for a double gutbuster. She slips out the ring to bring in another table. She slides it in and sets it up while Corvus mercilessly forearms the chest and face multiple times. He tries to get her on the table, but she slips out behind him and shoves him forward into Vipress. The woman attacks with multiple kicks to the body before following up with a corkscrew huracarrana. Blake quickly follows up with the double knees in the corner to Corvus. Vipress slips to the outside and searches under the ring. Jenny looks for a springboard senton, but Vipress gets the chair shot to the face before she can fly completely. Jenny tumbles to the apron and down to the floor. Vipress yanks her up by the hair and uses all her might to drag Blake along the floor before literally swinging the smaller woman off the floor and into the air, her back colliding with the barricade.
Corvus rolls out of the ring and takes care of Jenny with stomps to the chest and stomach. Vipress sets up another table on the outside before retrieving the one from the ring. She folds the legs and slides it back out before setting it up next to the first. Hoshiki stirs now, getting to her feet from the steps. She tries to stop Vipress and eats chop to the chest. Hoshiki screeches with a fiery rage and kicks Vipress in the chest. She eats another chop, but makes the champ pay with another kick. Back and forth they go with attacks as Corvus and Jenny battle it out on the other side. Vipress slaps Arisa across the face and tries for a suplex, but Hoshiki remains grounded and connects with the Brazilian Kick. Vipress staggers, remaining on her feet in a daze. Arisa whips her into the ring as Jenny fights off Corvus with an uppercut. She slides him into the ring, as well. Arisa slides in chairs for them and they set both champs in the corner. The chairs are wedged between the legs and the two women stand back to back in the center of the ring. They point towards their opponents with huge smiles. “Ready...” Jenny says. “...set....” Hoshiki chimes in. “BLAST OFF!” Both women scream before shooting out of the center with double dropkicks to the chairs right into the crotch area.
The champions roll on the floor in agony and both women force them up. Corvus is whipped onto the apron above the tables, but Vipress fights back against Hoshiki with a headbutt. She tries to race in with a big boot, but the challenger ducks and she kicks Corvus. Vipress manages to save him just in time, holding him up on the apron. Arisa quickly races to the ropes and 619s Corvus in the back to stun him as Blake comes up from behind with a superkick to the back of Vipress’s head. Hoshiki has Corvus lifted on her shoulders in the electric chair position as Blake rebounds off the ropes and uses Vipress' back as a step stool to get Corvus into a senton. Blake sends him through the table and it’s all over!
The bell rings, new champions are crowned. Arisa quickly leaps off the apron to help up her partner from the rubble. The two women hug each other tightly. Tears were pouring down as they take the titles at ringside. Fans start to toss in streamers, allowing Hoshiki a little taste of home as she twirls around in the falling ribbons. The crowd starts to chant for the Rocket Stars as the make their way up the ramp. They hold the belts up high, clinking them together as they celebrate.
But with every happy ending in PCW, there’s a horrible beginning. Arisa finds herself taken down from behind and slung from the stage yet again. Blake turns only to find Valkyrie standing face-to-face with her. No designers, no shades, barely any makeup—Taya’s rage stripped her down to her rawest form. She was almost unrecognizable in camp pants, timbs, and a black top. Blake attempted to strike back, but Valkyrie overpowered her easily in this weakened state and slammed a brass knuckled fist into her face. Blake tumbles down the ramp, holding her face as blood starts to trickle from her lip. “You stupid bitch! You just don’t know when you need to quit!” Taya kicks the gut and Jenny rolls further down the ramp. She tries to stand, but she’s met with a shove into the ring post. Valkyrie tosses her into the ring before laying in punch after punch with the knuckles until Blake was barely conscious, face bloodied from the lip and nose now. Taya’s weapon was caked in red and the crowd was too stunned to even boo her.
Valkyrie demands a mic and wastes no time getting to business. “I’m sick to death of this company and this roster constantly undermining me. From the very first time I stepped into PCW as a champion, I knew this company could be great with the right guidance. Mike got it off the ground, but I shot it straight into the sky when I competed against Jinny Couture—champion versus champion. That moment cemented the idea into my mind that I could do more for this promotion.”
“And ever since that day, PCW has been better than every other company currently going right now because I made it so. Not Mike, but me. It is my ingenious ideas, my unrivalled leadership skills, and constant tenacity that’s made Phoenix Championship Wrestling the best company in the world. Taya Valkyrie is PCW!” Now the fans begin to react with boos and chants, letting Taya know that tonight of all nights was the worst to air her grievances. “And then you got people like this little bitch,” she says as she steps on Jenny’s chest.
“People like her who constantly want to get on my bad side. They talk back to me, try to assert their dominance in a situation in which I always remain in control one way or another. Every week, there’s another idiot with my name in their mouths...blaming me for their failures in PCW as if I’m supposed to give them favours. And don’t even think of bringing up Tyler. He earned his shot. I just made it easier to secure in the end, but he just suffered the biggest L in his career...and that’s all on him. I hand this roster the tools and opportunities every week to be great and rather than getting off their lazy asses to prove they earned, they’re too busy bitching about what I’m doing.”
“Jenny is just one of many who wronged me. Got morons like MJF in my office currently because he sucks so bad to the point he’s gotta buy his way to gold. Ugly, untalented, and stupid—the unholy trinity of mediocrity and disappointment. Little bastards like Will who went M.I.A for months and now he’s got plenty to say since dragging his busted mug back into my company. Phil Jackal crying every week because I’m tired of seeing him lose, so I’d rather just not book him. It’s like I run a daycare instead of a wrestling company...”
Valkyrie starts to laugh to herself as the crowd is damn near deafening in their reaction. “But that all ends tonight.” She drops the mic and retrieves one of the chairs in the ring. She wedges Blake’s head in between the folds. The crowd are going nuts as she looks ready to end Jenny where she lies.
“TAYA! TAYA, DON’T YOU DARE DO THIS!” Mike screams on the mic as he runs out with security. They stand by as Quackenbush tries to negotiate with her. “You know the consequence of this. I’ve let you slide on by with your antics, but this is too far. She needs medical attention or she’s going to choke on her own blood. I know you’re up—“
“YOU KNOW NOTHING! They kiss your ass week in and week out because you’re too much of a chocha to handle your business like a man. They don’t respect you and they never will, but me? They’re going to hate me and I’m just fine with that. They can despise me until I’m six feet under, but they will respect or fear me.”
“Taya...I’m only giving you one more warning. You go any further and—“
“AND WHAT? What are you going to do? Suspend me? Slap my wrist? What will you do, you little b—“
“YOU’RE FIRED IF YOU CONTINUE THIS ONSLAUGHT!”
Valkyrie raised a brow and considered her options. She circled Jenny’s body before approaching the ropes. She leans against them and nods. “Okay...okay...” She pauses and looks around the arena before settling her eyes on him with a malicious grin. The corners of her lips curl deeply into that grin, eyes darkening with evil intent. “Pero tengo una idea mejor. ¡Renuncio!” Valkyrie quickly rebounds off the ropes and double stomps the chair. It smashes onto Jenny’s neck and the women goes limp. Security races in and Valkyrie ducks out of the ring. She runs off into the crowd, exiting through the aisle doors as Quackenbush rushes in paramedics to take care of Jenny. He helps Arisa to the back as her partner is stretched behind them for further examination.
