PCW Live: I Heard A Rumor
I Think We're Alone Now

Y'all are probably wondering what I'm doing out here tonight. As you can see, I don't have my gear on, so unfortunately for all of you, I'm not scheduled for a match. But I've been given the opportunity to address someone you might know very well by the name Spike Trivet.
I'll explain. With Loren Armitage outta the way, and while it might seem like I have everything together and have a whole lot of choices in front of me, I feel like something's still missing. Something's incomplete. Since I got here, from the very first day, I have been trying my best to move on, reminding myself that it's way too late for things to be fixed. But... I couldn't just forget, not even for one second. I'll never forget. Not before you pay for the atrocities you've done to that innocent soul. You know who I'm talking about.
Things would've ended differently if I were here at the time, but luckily for you, I wasn't. But, guess what, Trivet. Your luck's about to run out. He meant something to me, and you took him away. I know you're backstage, Spike, and I know you can hear me. I'm not done with your scrawny ass, yet.

Rhea Ripley vs Tessa Blanchard

Tessa makes her way down the ramp, but Ripley is on her in seconds. She beats down Blanchard before sending the shoulder into the ringpost. Tessa doesn’t have time to react as Ripley sends the shoulder into the steel steps. Rhea then stomps down on the hurt shoulder before sending Blanchard into the ring for the pin as the bell rings. Tessa just barely gets the hurt shoulder up in time. Rhea forced her up and whips Tessa into the corner. She races forward, but Blanchard gets the boot up.
Tessa launches out the ring with a clothesline before connecting with another as Rhea stands. She tries to work out the pain of the shoulder and ducks under a big boot. Blanchard chops the chest with the good arm before connect with a DDT for the pin. Rhea kicks out. Tessa rains down punches with the good arm and drags Ripley to her feet. She tries to whip her into the ropes, but the injured shoulder made her hesitate. Rhea capitalizes by pulling Tessa into multiple shoulder blocks. She then lifts her up for a suplex into the mat and floats over into the pin. Blanchard kicks out at two.
Tessa tries to fight back using her speed, catching Rhea with a superkick before taking her down a spear. It injures the shoulder more, but Blanchard kept her cool. She used one arm to slowly scale to the top, but Rhea is up quick enough to knock her down. She lifts Tessa off the turnbuckle and plants her with the Riptide to get the three count. Rhea wasn’t done, though, stomping down on the injured shoulder. She then slings Tessa into the corner and she rams into the metal again. Blanchard was down on the outside as Rhea celebrated in the ring, a cocky grin on her face.
Indigo Kelly vs MJF

Indigo tries to make quick work of MJF. He had the control at first with an armlock, but she manages to break free with a forearm. She sends him into the corner and connects with a running big boot. MJF stumbles to the mat and she hooks the leg for a one count. Indigo forces him up and tries to suplex him, but he resists and knees her back. He then slaps the woman across the face while mocking her. Kelly stumbles into the ropes and he whips her for a clothesline. She’s dropped and MJF stands on her chest for the pin. She easily kicks out at one.
He drives a hard kick into the back before shoving her head to the side, toying with her. MJF grabs the arm and drops his hips down onto it. Jelly tries to pull away, but he has a tight grip and kicks the arm repeatedly now. He starts to mock her again and shows off to the crowd, allowing her to roll him up for the shocking three count. MJF was completely caught off guard and tries to attack her, but she counters with a STO and forces him out the ring.
She celebrates in the ring, but she wasn’t alone for long as Bordeaux races down the ramp and attacks her from behind. Scarlett gives Kelly a taste of her own medicine as she drags the face across the mat. Scarlett tries to deal more damage with punches to the back of the head, but Indigo eventually escapes to the outside. Bordeaux looks to go after her and the fists go flying again. Indigo doesn’t hesitate to fight back this time, both women crashing into the steps and barricade as the crowd eggs them on. Security eventually has to separate them, but Bordeaux isn’t done yet. She pulls off one of her shoes and throws it right in Kelly’s face, still trying to get at the woman before finally being escorted from the arena.

Picture Book

It’s chaos backstage as Melissa and Frankie are scrapping. Frankie slings Melissa into the wall and stomps down on her before Alexxis is on her back. Frankie throws her over the shoulder and onto the floor, but she’s jabbed in the eye. Blinded, Alexxis is able to deliver a few forearms before Natalya Spears her to the ground. Melissa is up and attacks Natalya from behind. She throws punch after punch to the back of the head before sending her into a stack of crates. Natalya crashes into the pile and Melissa jumps on her as Frankie takes control of Alexxis.
The two teams continue to fight before Arisa and Jenny finally break it up. “Okay, okay!” Jenny says. “Clearly there are pretty high tensions tonight. How about you guys,” she points to Melissa and Alexxis “work it off in tag team action next week? You want the champions so badly, prove you should have them against us.”
“And you two,” Arisa points to the champions, “should have a front row seat to the match. You can watch us reclaim our spot as number one contenders.” Jenny and Arisa high-five each other and Alexxis rolls her eyes before she and Melissa slowly back off.
“Next week? We’re coming for blood,” Melissa spats with venom as they finally walk off.

Aleister Black vs Phil Jackal vs Kevin Owens

Kevin tried to catch Phil early on with the Pop-Up powerbomb, but it’s countered into a huracarrana, sending Owens into the corner. Black follows up with the double knees, leaving the ring to him and Jackal. They lock up and Phil gets the arm drag into the armlock. He transitions to a headlock and Aleister quickly slips out of the hold to get a leg lock. Jackal doesn’t tap but rolls until he can reach the ropes. Black backs off, but only for a second before he drives a knee into the gut. He whips Jackal into the ropes and barely misses the Fade to Black as Jackal ducks back.
Phil is cautious as he locks up with Black again. Aleister gets the armlock behind the back and Phil cartwheels out of it to eat a forearm. He stumbles back and Aleister races in for a clothesline. Jackal sends him over the ropes onto the apron and Kevin yanks him down to the floor. Phil sees an opening as they’re scrapping and springboards from the corner to land a crossbody to them both. He sends Kevin back into the ring and connects with a kick to the back. Jackal proceeds to do work, forcing Owens up for a heel kick to the face for the cover. Owens kicks out at one. Jackal tries to go up high, but Aleister quickly knocks him down to the mat. Black enters the ring and gets him with a backstabber as Phil stands. He hooks the leg, but Kevin breaks it up.
Owens sends Black into the corner and connects with the cannonball. He shoves Aleister from the ring before suddenly eating a superkick from Jackal to get the three count. Jackal celebrates just as Isla Dawn makes her way down the ramp. Kross wasn’t present at the moment. She claps for him before raising the mic to her lips. “Congratulations, Phil. That was very impressive. You are truly leaving a mark in PCW....so are we.”
“If you’re going to offer whatever you did to Taeler, I’m not interested,” he responds as he takes a mic. She starts to laugh quietly to herself while shaking her head.
“Actually...I don’t particularly want you on my team, Phil. What I do want is for you to yield. I know you’ve noticed that we are after the same man, but we had our eyes on him first for a very long time. Don’t worry. It’s not exactly his title we’re after...just his lifeless corpse under Kross’s boot. You are currently in the way of that as you continue to pursue Breeze for his title. You will get what you want, Jackal...just not now. I’m only going to say this once: yield. Just for a little while longer.”
Phil considers her words before laughing. “Kiss my ass, Isla.” The redhead sighed into the mic and dropped it. The locks she had twisted into French braid suddenly unraveled. Her face contorted into a snarl and the strands seemed to levitate on her shoulders slightly. Isla looked ready to explode, but she suddenly changed her mind and smiled at him. She simply waved to him and turned on her heels up.
Austin Theory vs Jack Sexsmith

Sexsmith tried to put up a good fight, but Theory managed to keep control for most of the match. He plants Jack with a DDT for the pin. Jack kicks out. Austin slams the head down to the mat before setting Jack up for the single leg suplex. Sexsmith fights out of it and headbutts Austin. He springboards off the ropes and takes him down with a dropkick to the chest. As Jack keeps control, Mitchell comes walking down the ramp for a closer view. He watches intently as Sexsmith sends Austin to the apron.
Jack tries for a roundhouse, but Theory grabs the leg in time and drops it on the ropes. Sexsmith is screaming in pain as Theory glances back at Knight with a grin. He enters the ring and takes Jack down with a running knee. Theory forces him up and connects with an uppercut before finally ending the match with the Unproven Cutter. He then stares down Knight and motions at the title. Mitchell claps up his victory and enters the ring to shake his hand. Theory laughed in his face and swatted his hand away, not interested in being friendly with the champion.

Hazy Shade Of Winter

Vipress was seen down below the PCW building. She had taken over the room Harlow and Bray used as their lair for herself. Corvus was waiting patiently for her to finish mixing ingredients together. It only took a short while as she muttered to herself “it’s our time... They’ll pay for this... We must become stronger...” Once she was done, she drank some of the mixture before offering the rest to Corvus. He didn’t hesitate to guzzle it down.
They both waited, nothing happened. Harlow seemed disappointed, scanning back through Harlow’s book to understand what went wrong. It was just as she flipped a page that her hand cramped up. The woman let out a low grunt before it became a howl as the rest of her body started to ache. Corvus was beside her, feeling the pain coursing through him, as well. Vipress dropped to her hands and knees, wrought with pain and unable to move. Corvus withstood it better, but he was stuck against the table in order to keep from falling himself.
Sweat built on the skin and their faces turned a shade of red as their screams continued. Corvus dug his nails into the table, left a trail of scratch wood as Vipress pounded her fists on the floor. This painful spell subsided within minutes and the two were breathlessly calm. Vipress finally stood from the floor and Corvus’s eyes widened as he reached towards her. “... Horns...” he muttered as he touched one upon her head. She touched them herself and smiles. She looked to Corvus and noticed his normally dark eyes brighten to a shade of yellow.
“What happened...?” He asked.
“I made us stronger now. Just you wait...”

Taeler Hendrix & Isla Dawn vs Ivelisse Vélez & Salina De La Renta

Taeler and Isla await their opponents. Ivelisse comes out first and clears the way for...Salina?! The woman came marching onto the stage decked in ring gear. She was fired months ago, but clearly she was able able to resign as Ivelisse’s partner. The two women make their way down the ramp and the two redheads are immediately on the attack.
Isla kicks Salina down from the apron as Taeler misses the shoulder block to Ivelisse. Velez drives a knee into the chest and drops Taeler’s neck on the ropes as Salina and Isla fight on the outside. Velez drives fist after fist to the face before Hendrix finally jabs the eye to escape. The bell has rung and Taeler catches her with a spin kick to pin her. Velez kicks out at two. As they continue, Dawn as Salina and tries to slam her face into the steps. She counters and slings Isla into the barricade instead. Salina is on the apron for the tag. She climbs up high and takes Taeler down with a crossbody for the pin. The champion kicks out.
Dawn is still down and Hendrix is on her own. Taeler eats a forearm to the face and is whipped into the ropes, but she rebounds with a shoulder block. She drops the elbow to the chest before mounting Salina with a devious smile. Staring at Velez, Taeler licks the side of Salina’s face before slapping her hard across the face. Dawn is finally on the apron and Hendrix makes the tag. She takes Salina down with the STO and suddenly strikes Velez off the apron before stomping Salina. Isla forced her up and slings her into the corner for a big boot. Salina slumps down to the mat and Isla connects with multiple knees in the face before dragging Salina out for the pin. She kicks out at two.
Ivelisse tries to race into the ring, but the referee keeps her back. This allows Taeler to enter and help Isla beat her down. Dawn lifts Salina up on her shoulders, showing her strength despite her diminutive size. Dawn connects with a Death Valley Driver for yet another pin, but Salina kicks out. She tags in Hendrix and they connect with a double gut buster to the knees. Taeler keeps control for awhile, even going as far as to set up the piledriver early. Salina manages to roll her up for a two count instead. She finally tags in Velez and the woman takes Hendrix down with multiple clotheslines. Velez whips her into the ropes and Hendrix hangs on. Ivelisse races forward and eats an elbow.
Taeler tries to follow up and eats a superkick. Ivelisse follows up with the vertigo kick, looking to end it. Isla breaks up the pin. Salina spears her to the mat and the two brawl on the outside once rolling out. Taeler catches Velez with a palm thrust to the throat and tries to go for a spin kick again. Velez ducks in time and connects with a roundhouse before setting up the Desert Eagle to pin Taeler. She gets a small piece of revenge, but Velez picks up the belt and holds it high, her eyes still on the prize.

Don't Stop Me Now

PCW Rising Phoenix Champion, Tyler Breeze, is shown sitting back in the locker room. The championship is laying across his lap and he's looking into his phone, adjusting his hair. "You know... I've had a lot of people gunning for me, in the last several months. A lot of peeps who can't keep my name from spilling out of their grubby little lips. But I'm here to say... It doesn't matter."
Tyler set his phone down, picking up the title belt and putting it over his shoulder. "None of it matters. Killer Kross? Isla Dawn? Phillip Jackal? It. Doesn't. Matter. I don't care which one of them I step in the ring with. Because the end result is gonna be the exact same, every time. With Prince Pretty walking out with his championship still wrapped around his gorgeous waist."
A little grin grows in the corner of his mouth, as he adjusts the title on his shoulder. "So bring on Kross. Bring on Isla. Bring on Phillip. Because I've got a Beauty Shot with each and every one of those uggos names on it. And my historic reign as the PCW Rising Phoenix Champion will not be ending anytime soon because those wannabes simply can't touch me." He grabs a pair of sunglasses, that were hanging from the collar of his shirt, putting them on his face. Standing up, he once again adjusts his title and exits the room.
