PCW Live: The Book of Love
U.G.L.Y.

Tyler stands in the ring with his title around the waist and mic in hand. He looked less than pleased and was in no mood for even one selfie. “Last week, I was attacked before my match with an old rival. Jenny can consider herself a fortunate soul because I would’ve embarrassed her for a second time, but that’s neither here nor there. What I really want to address is my attacker and we all know it’s Scarlett.”
The fans give a mixed reaction and Breeze rolls his eyes. “Of course some of you cheer that on. You’re all jealous of my looks, my success, and my skill. So is Scarlet. She can’t admit that when Black Rain rolls around, I’m going to outwrestle her in every sense of the word. Instead, she attacks me in order to weaken me. I expected more from someone like Bordeaux, but I guess all that talk was just that—talk.”
“Now I know she isn’t in the building tonight, but I’m making it very clear that she can attack me all she likes. Scarlett can bash my head in and cripple me as best as she can, but I’ll walk into Black Rain all the same and walk out of it still as champion. That said...I have a challenge for you, Bordeaux. If you’re woman enough to step into the ring with me next week? I’ll make sure Taya guarantees us a matchup that’ll go down in PCW history as the greatest of all time... Not because it’ll be a battle if two greats. It’ll be the best match in history because I’m the greatest competitor in PCW ever. You’re just a photobomb in my aura of excellence. What you are, Scarlett is just another uggo waiting to get a Beauty Shot—double in your case.”

Indi Hartwell vs Tessa Blanchard

Tessa gets the front headlock and tries to lift Indi off the mat, but she remains grounded and plants Blanchard with a northern lights suplex for a one count. Hartwell drags her up by the arm and knees Tessa in the gut before driving a forearm into the face. She rebounds off the ropes for a big boot, but Tessa ducks under it and plants her with a cutter for a one count. Now in control, Tessa drags Hartwell to the corner and stomps the abdomen before forcing her up in the corner for multiple shots to the face. Tessa looks to the crowd. “Are you watching, Priscilla?!” She smirks and goes for a corner clothesline.
Indi gets the boot up and gets to the second rope for an elevated neckbreaker. Hartwell gets the two count before laying in shot after shot to Tessa. She forces her up and drops her with a scoop slam before rebounding off the ropes for a big boot for yet another two count. Hartwell drags her to the ropes and starts to choke Blanchard until the count of four. She tries for a running knee, but Tessa pulls the ropes down. As the referee checks on Indi, Priscilla comes walking down the ramp with a sinister smile. Tessa immediately steps out of the ring to get in her face and eats a shot to the face with the brass knuckles once again.
Kelly tosses her back into the ring just as the referee steps in. He looks between Blanchard and Priscilla in confusion, but Indi is back in. She realizes what’s going on and wastes no time taking advantage with the Impressive Leg Drop to seal Blanchard’s face and earns a point. Priscilla watches on the outside with a laugh as Blanchard is barely sitting up with a glare. She looks to Hartwell with a hint of anger, as well. “What the hell, Indi?! You’re supposed to be my partner!” Hartwell simply shrugs and steps out of the ring, putting business before friendship.
Indigo & Hania vs Rocket Stars

As the match starts, Indigo and Hania argue about who starts for their team. Hania eventually shoves Indigo and the woman shoves her back. It seems impossible to get them on the same page before Jenny and Arisa dropkick them both. Hania is out on the apron, so Arisa has Indigo in the wristlock. She keeps the arm locked and follows up with a suplex onto it. Indigo cradles her arm as Arisa stomps on it before marching around the arena in a cheery way. The crowd was eating it up as Indigo gets to her feet. She grabs the hair and yanks Arisa down to the mat. She follows up with a knee drop for a one count.
She drags Arisa to the corner and reluctantly tags Hania in. The she-wolf stomps Arisa down in the corner before yanking her up for a kick to the chest. Hania tosses her out of the corner and follows up with a neck twist from behind for a two count. She forces Arisa up and tries for a suplex, but Arisa lands on her feet and drops Hania with a neckbreaker. She’s up now and tags in Jenny. They double team Hania with a double leg drop for a two count. Blake keeps control with a handspring double knee drop to the gut and follows up with a sliding kick to the chest. Another two count.
She tries to force Hania up and eats an uppercut. Hania leans against the ropes and Jenny goes for a clothesline. Hania ducks and Blake knocks Indigo down. The wolf tries to roll Jenny up and gets a two count. Jenny kicks Hania in the gut and whips her into the ropes, but Hania gets the crossbody. Indigo is suddenly in the ring and starts to attack Jenny to Hania’s disapproval. She forces Indigo back and they start to argue again.
Arisa comes in with a springboard flying knee from the ropes to Indigo. Hania tries to toss her out and ends up with a backfist to the face. Arisa plants her with a half Nelson suplex and rolls out the ring as Jenny sets her up for the Canadian Destroyer to put her away. They celebrate the victory and motions belts around their waist, sending a message to Natalya and Frankie as Indigo and Hania stare each other down from outside the ring.

The Offer

Taeler resides in an isolated area of the building. Here her ivy grows, surrounding the entirety of the room. No one dared enter and she liked it that way. It was her home away from home and no one was allowed that wasn’t Jay. Still, she felt a presence. Something—someone—was here and they shouldn’t be. Hendrix turns and Isla stands with Kross on the other side of the room.
“What are you doing here, witch?” Hendrix spat the last word with venom, the vines of ivy slowly starting wrap around her company’s legs. “Answer me.”
Dawn smiled and in moments, the ivy seemed to cower back. “It’s not wise to anger me, Taeler. You’re limited to the natural world. I am not. Besides, I’m not looking for a fight.”
“What do you want, Isla? Clearly, you didn’t come to exchange much-needed haircare tips.”
“Trifling insults. Cute. I came to make you an offer.”
Taeler’s eyes gaze upon Kross as he silently stands behind Isla. Despite his silence, his demeanour was intense—filled with animosity. The black orbs within his sockets stared back at her and she felt the air in the room change.
“He’s harmless until I say otherwise. I didn’t bring him here to intimidate you. He’s always by my side.”
“What is this offer?”
Isla smiled as the screen slowly faded to darkness and proceeds to the rest of the show tonight.

Priscilla Kelly vs Vipress (With Corvus)
Heart of Phoenix Championship Tournament
Heart of Phoenix Championship Tournament

Vipress is in control early after Corvus gets involved and grabs Kelly’s foot. The referee gives him a warning as the demon suplexes Kelly with a bridged pin. Priscilla kicks out at one. Vipress tries to slam the face into the corner, but Kelly elbows her back and uses the corner for an elevated hurricarana. Vipress rolls into the ropes and Kelly stomps her before kicking her out. Corvus tries to comfort her, but Priscilla is up high on the top rope and leaps down with a crossbody to them both.
She tosses Vipress back in and as the referee checks on her, Corvus grabs the hair and slams the face into the apron before whipping her into the ring post. He tosses her into the ring and Vipress picks up the pieces with a camel clutch. Priscilla refuses to tap out and slips out of the grip, but Vipress manages to lock in the headlock. She clobbers down on the shoulder that went into the post before whipping her into the corner. She ties Priscilla’s arm in the ropes and pulls until the count of four before kicking the arm.
Vipress races forward and Kelly gets the boot up. She looks to advance, but Corvus has the leg and Vipress capitalizes with a big boot. She quickly plants Kelly with the Sinners Bite DDT for the victory. Priscilla was left alone in the ring confused and enraged, but it didn’t end there. Tessa was coming down the ramp with a golden bat in hand. She raced towards the ring to exact revenge, but Kelly rolls out of the ring in time. She stares Tessa in the eye with a grin before she went under the ring. Blanchard went after her, but she emerged without a single trace of Priscilla to be found.

Troublemaker

The camera cuts suddenly to Taya backstage as she’s trading blows with... José Martinez?! The man spears her into a stack of crates before proceeding to beat down on her. He yanks her up by the hair, attempting to further damage Valkyrie, but she wisely kicks him off her and quickly makes use of the fire extinguisher. She sprayed him blind before beating down on his back with the item. Security was rushing to the scene, but she held them off and tried to seal the final blow to the head. He rolls out of the way in time and tackles her yet again.
Security remains in their places as she has ordered and watched as José rained down strikes to her face. She manages to push him off, holding her eye momentarily before tackling him herself and both crashing through the door to the men’s locker room. Taya slams him into one of the lockers as the men started to file out and slammed the head against it multiple time. Valkyrie then lifts him horizontally on the shoulders and tries for a slam to the benches. He lands on his feet and kicks her back into one of the lockers. He spears her into the lockers multiple times, but she stood her ground, albeit shakingly.
José grabbed a chair, intending to use it on her, but Quackenbush comes charging in between them. He stares José down with daggers and the man drops the chair. “I invited you to PCW as a guest. You were to use the facilities and even attend the show, but this? Whatever this is, it stays in UNITE. I have a company to hold together and things like this threaten to tear it apart. If you want Taya, you get her, but it won’t ever be on PCW grounds again or I’ll have you banned and even imprisoned.”
He looks to Taya and shakes her head. “You just don’t know how to stay out of trouble, do you?” Valkyrie didn’t respond and rather raced forward in an attempt to attack José with the most hellish scream uttered. She wasn’t even reacting like a person, her demeanour was feral in nature and only Quackenbush holding her back kept Valkyrie from doing whatever she had planned.
José stared her down with a smug expression and even flicked her nose before exiting the locker room with Quackenbush keeping her from going after him.

Will Ospreay vs Joey Ryan

Joey put up a fight. After his loss to Kross, he aimed to bounce back with the win over Ospreay. Will, however, wasn’t backing down. Despite his ring awareness and skill, Joey couldn’t keep up with the speed of Will and ate a superkick before being dropped with a cutter. Ospreay gets the two count. He tries to keep control as he whipped Joey in the corner, but Ryan leaps up and over Will as he races in. He gets the boot and forces Will onto the corner for a dropkick to the chest.
He connects with a running boot for a two count. As the match continues, Mitchell appeared and stood upon the stage. He looks over the match as Will is caught by Joey’s crotch. Ryan flips him over with the Penis Plex and Will rolls onto the apron to avoid the fall. Knight continues to watch, but MJF is on him and takes out the already hurt leg. He stomps down on Knight’s leg and even slams it against the stage. Will is distracted long enough for Joey to get a two count rollup pin, but Ospreay battles back and gets the Stormbreaker for the victory.
MJF proceeded to beat him down and Will....chose to look on. He didn’t race to Knight’s rescue and allowed MJF to put in the damage before he’s ran off by security. Mitchell could barely stand as the show continued on.

Third Base.

Hayley stands backstage with a concerned look on her face. “I was meant to interview Knight tonight, but after MJF’s attack, he’s being looked after by our trainers. It’s unfortunate what happened, but the competition for the title has been heating up since he beat Phil Jackal. It is no surprise that the competitors in line for a shot are doing everything they can to take him out. Mitchell has proven to be a formidable champion and—“
“Let me stop you there,” MJF says with a look of disgust. “Formidable is not the word I’d use.”
“Well, you did attack him tonight. Surely he’s a threat to—“
“Nobody scares Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Not Will, not Jacksl, and certainly not Mitchell Knight. I saw an opportunity to remind PCW that I’m the greatest threat to their careers. If I want you gone, I can make it happen at the snap of a finger. That’s what happened to Knight and Ospreay stayed put because he knows I could do it to him, too.”
MJF fixes his scarf as Hayley tries to speak and holds a hand over the mic. “We’ve heard enough from you and frankly, these slobs, ring rats, and momma’s boys in the crowd don’t deserve to hear more from me. Move it along, Hannah... Hadley... Whatever. Just get the hell out of my face.”
Hayley slowly slinks from view as MJF smirks and looks at the camera with an award-winning smile. He was as confident as ever going into Black Rain in just a few weeks.

Loren Armitage vs Phil Jackal
Heart of Phoenix Championship Tournament
Heart of Phoenix Championship Tournament

Loren and Jackal lock up, but Loren slips under Jackal and swipes the legs. He rolls through for the crossface, but Phil manages to roll over into the pin. Loren releases him and they stand for Jackal to get the arm drag. He follows up with a step-up enzuigiri to send Loren to the mat. Jackal lands a standing moonsault for a two count. Jackal drags him to the corner and drives kick after kick to the chest before setting him up on the top rope. Jackal looks for the elevated DDT, but Loren forearms him back and connects with a dropkick.
He rushes Jackal and backs him into the corner with multiple strikes to the face before kneeing him in the gut. Loren connects with the alley-oop for a two count. Loren tries for the surfboard submission and Jackal flips over into a quick cover. Loren kicks out and they both go for a clothesline. The referee counts to three until Jackal is up first. He tries to drag Loren to his feet and is rolled up for a shocking three count.
Loren races out of the ring to celebrate as Jackal rages inside the ring. He tries to argue with the referee as Aries comes out from behind and attacks Loren. He beats down on the man mercilessly, unleashing all the pent up rage he’s had for weeks because of the newcomer. Austin tries to stomp him, but the lights go out momentarily. Loren was gone as they turn back on, escaping Aries for the time being.
Kill of the night
Next Weekly Show:

Moxley paces back and forth in a fit of rage as the show inches towards its conclusion. Mic in hand and a snarl on his face, he kicks at the ropes and stomps his boot to the mat. “I wanted a bloodbath when I came to PCW. I wanted to create a massacre, leaving a trail of bodies in my path, so that PCW could understand who exactly they signed. Bray...Bray would be the first of many, but he choked at the very last minute. He couldn’t fathom getting into the ring with me and really seeing what Moxley is all about. Now I’m standing here like an idiot, trying to understand how the hell Taya let him go.”
Jon lets out an agonized and frustrated roar as he paces again. “This is unacceptable. I planned to shed some blood, so there better be somebody in this ring soon or I’m going to fucking lose it.”
In that moment, the lights started to flicker. Bray... did he change his mind? Is the match still on? As they continued to flicker, Moxley stood ready as he faced the stage. Unfortunately for him, his challenger was behind him, grinning in the flashing lights. He was taken off his feet with a clubbing blow to the back of the head. The larger man stomped down on his back and head, Moxley’s body contorting in each flash. It only took a few more moments before the lights were on and Kross stood above him.
He forces Dean to his feet and drops him with the Saito Suplex. Isla watched at ringside with a neutral expression as Jon laid still on the mat. She enters the ring and the two stand tall in the centre, asserting their dominance within PCW.
