PCW Year-End Awards
Wrestle Factory
The opening of the show was hosted by none other than Taya Valkyrie. The general manager came dressed accordingly in business attire. She smiled into the camera as she stood in the center of the ring, a table just in front of her with each award lined up. Taya grabs the mic and motions for the fans to listen up and quiet down.
“Welcome to PCW’s first annual Year-End Awards. It’s been about a year since PCW was conceived and we’ve seen many changes from general managers and owners to the point systems and the themes of the shows. People have come and gone, but there’s a select few who can say they’ve stuck it out and made an impact this year.”
She pauses and the fans cheer as she clears her throat.
“Before we bring out the roster and announce winners, it’s only fair that this awards show is hosted, not just by me, but the man behind this entire promotion. Without this man, PCW would not have survived as long as it has. We owe him a round of applause for his hard work all year long, even when he was injured. He never left PCW hanging, so for that, we thank you... Mike Quackenbush.”
The man makes his presence known and the fans are chanting his name as he makes his way down the ramp. Once joining Taya in the ring, the two share a friendly embrace before Taya hands over the mic.
“Much appreciated, Taya. I thank you for holding down the fort. PCW has transformed completely under your guidance and it could not be as successful without you, but it certainly could not have been done without our amazing roster. Please, everyone, join us on stage.”
The men and women of Phoenix Championship Wrestling make their way to the stage. The crowd gives them a round of applause, even chanting different names as a show of who they’re looking forward to winning tonight.
“We thought these awards would be fun, friendly event that also highlights our thanks to you for putting out your best each and every week,” Taya states. “Not everyone can win, but we hope that never deters you from putting your best foot forward.”

“With that said, let’s begin,” Mike suggests and Taya nods in agreement. “The Breakout Star of the Year Award is the first of the night. Nominees, as we call your name, step forward. First up is Rhea Ripley. Second is Phil Jackal. And lastly, Tyler Breeze.”

All three superstars are front and center on stage. “The winner of the first ever Breakout Star of the Year award is...”

“Rhea Ripley!” Taya shouts before Mike can proceed. The fans applaud as Rhea makes her way to the ring to accept her award.
“Stepping out of the mosh kid persona for a second, I just wanna say thank you for the opportunity to show my best self. It’s been amazing run so far and I’m truly honoured to be seen as the breakout star of PCW. Next year, it’ll be MVP of the Year. Just you wait!”

Rhea stands behind Mike and Taya as the fans cheer her on again. Taya holds up the next award. “Rivalry of the Year is our next award. Two individuals will be gifted with this plaque as a way of saying that they have captivated the PCW Universe more than any other. The nominees are as followed: Mike Quackenbush versus Allysin Kay, Sami Callihan versus Jenny Blake, and CM Punk vs Kyle O’Reilly.”

All the nominees step forward and Mike clears his throat. “This is a bit awkward. Usually, I wouldn’t have competed, but someone drove it out of me.” He side-eyes Kay from the ring before clearing his throat again. “The winners of this award are... Allysin Kay and myself.”

“Ooh, Quack. I don’t think it’s right for the boss to win. This might bring some bad press,” Valkyrie says as she nudges his arm.
Allysin approached the ring with a frown on her face and snatched the award from Mike before smiling. “Thanks or whatever. It was fun.” She stands off to the side as the fans are mixed with boos and cheers. She flips them off.

“The next award,” Taya announces, “is the OMG Moment of the Year, in which one particular moment in PCW really outshined the rest and stunned us all. A moment that no one saw coming. The nominees are Rhea Ripley for betraying her best friend, Harlow kidnapping Indigo, and Hania’s ‘death’ by fire.”

As everyone steps forward, the fans applaud and wait almost impatiently for the winner. Mike continues for Taya. “The winner is... Harlow!”

The building is mixed as Harlow makes her way to the ring to accept her award. “You know, I only just came into PCW towards the latter half, so I’m truly surprised, but honoured to be the winner. I thank Indigo for her contribution, as well as, Hania. It was a pleasure and I hope I can continue to impress.”

“The last award, MVP of the Year, is really special because this award states that this individual was the highlight all year-round. This competitor was able to outshine all others and put PCW on the map. The nominees are as followed: Allysin Kay, Hania, and Taeler Hendrix.”

Taya hands the mic over to Mike. He clears his throat. “The MVP of the Year is... Hania!”

The woman is stunned and doesn’t move at first until someone slightly pushes her forward. She makes it to the ring to accept her award and smiles widely as she’s handed the mic.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you all sooo much for this award. I’ve tried so hard to be entertaining for everyone, but even I didn’t expect this. It gives me great pride to know you consider me worthy of being the standout competitor. I hope I can continue that trend this year.”
All the winners line up with Taya and Mike to take a bow as the fans applaud all the winners. Confetti begins to fall from the ceiling and cover the ring. The roster comes down the ramp to surround the ring and celebrate with their colleagues.
