New Dodge Charger Mid-Size Car Exclusive Review
The American automaker Dodge provided further details about its next electric muscle car during its Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 presentation. It will go on sale in 2024. It looks that the first electric muscle car, or at least the first from Dodge, will complement current models rather than outright replace them when they are released. That still counts even though this is merely a confirmation of the earlier information.
A plug-in hybrid from Dodge will also be introduced soon and start production at the end of 2022. According to the source, it won't be the current-generation Durango with a Jeep Wrangler 4xe motor but a brand-new car. There has been no statement from Motor Trend regarding whether it will continue to use the device, though it makes sense given the time span.
Model of the Dodge Charger
Dodge will debut its electric muscle car concept no later than the second quarter of 2022, according to Kuniskis, who confirmed this to Motor Trend. It will function on Stellantis' brand-new "STLA big EV" platform, one of four allegedly being developed for electric vehicles and rumored to have a 500-mile range.
By 2030, Stellantis' American product portfolio will include more than 25 electric vehicle batteries. Without going into too much detail, some of these have already been confirmed, while others are just now beginning to be mentioned in plans as things to come.
But, even if it has all-wheel drive, the Dodge electric muscle car will be possible to burn out, as we already know. As indicated by Tim Kuniskis, CEO of the Dodge brand, a few months ago, donuts are also a possibility.
