Everyone desires to visualize our nation as mighty and super powerful. Yes, it has been in our dreams since Independence. We are slowly improving and have a prideful inheritance, resources, culture, and whatnot; we Indians are blessed with good hearts. We never fear the calamities, threats and pursue our efforts as the times pass by. The average Indian has a hard-working and family protective mentality during his/ her lifetime. We overcame many challenges so far, but the eradication of poverty is extremely hard for us as lakhs of people are dragged to poverty due to multiple complications. Currently, we need poverty eradication as a mandatory urge for the survival and development of India. Let us explore the causes of poverty one by one and go through the feasible and adaptable solutions to overcome poverty.

Exploring the Causes of Poverty in India:

  1. Illiteracy

Illiteracy is high, destroying the wealth and growth of the nation. Because illiterates can't increase the nation's economy, the government needs to spend on their necessities. Illiteracy leads to unemployment and keeps the person in helpless conditions; uneducated or illiterate people can't earn sufficient money for their family's well-being. They are at the risk of malnutrition, hunger, healthcare access, lack of jobs, etc. Education is the pillar to build character, raise the individual, and offer dignity in society. To solace this need, ISFH Foundation provides quality education for poor children by supplying their A to Z needs from KG to their chosen course.

  1. Unemployment

If there is no income, people will depend on others, and it will undermine the dignity in their lives. Often unemployed don't receive respect in society due to their external dependency on bread and butter. The unemployed or underemployed are segregated into two categories, the first one is educated and unemployed, and the latter is illiterate. ISFH Foundation provides skill development training for the educated ones to get a qualified job, and the candidate should be at least 8th or 10th passed out to be eligible for the program. The nonprofit gives the underprivileged free opportunities to earn sufficient income to protect their families alongside offering a stable career path for a lifetime.

  1. Income Inequality

To realize the business dreams, the impoverished don't have money, resources, selling support, etc. As they come from poor backgrounds, they don't have much support from external sources, and some of them may don't know how to start a small business. To fulfill the small business owners or new entrepreneurs' needs, ISFH Foundation initiated an income inequality mission, where the poor business owners can make some money and lead a happy life by growing their business. The nonprofit helps the underserved/ underprivileged raise their income by supporting their end-to-end business needs.

  1. Healthcare Deprivation

Health is the first criterion for any human being, and it's a privilege. 90% of the Indian poor can't invest in their healthcare. They will become poorer or suffer due to a lack of proper healthcare. They can't afford premium care healthcare services to safeguard their lives. Apart from the treatment, some don't have money to pay for the medicine and health-related expenses. ISFH Foundation's Tulsi Healthcare Movement enables the poor to access quality and well-nurtured private hospital treatment, medicine, and health expenses at free cost. Anybody facing the challenge for their health treatment and they are below poverty can reach ISFH Foundation.

  1. Food Deprivation

Food deprivation does great harm to individuals. Hunger and chronic hunger lead to malnutrition and acute malnutrition in individuals. Feeding hunger is the passion of the ISFH Foundation. The nation has been going through multiple calamities, and a pandemic effect recently hit many people in India. Now the Food distribution has been increased throughout the country, but these services are not enough for the individual's growth to recover from hunger with one or two days of food. These people need nutritious food containing vitamins, minerals, and proteins to gain some health. ISFH Foundation's Janaki Feeding Movement enables the hungry to get full-day meals until some period when they become self-dependent. We supply food to the doors, schools, and needy places.

  1. Poverty

Poverty is a hidden danger to the nation. Every struggle comes to the poor due to their inability to have adequate money to fulfill their livelihood, healthcare, and human privileges. Food, Clothes, and Shelter are the person's fundamental rights, and lack of these minimum privileges makes the individuals lead a sorrowful life. Feeding the hunger with nutritious food is distributed through Janaki Feeding Movement. We supply new clothes to the poor to make them feel privileged as clothes add dignity to the people as torn clothes and wearing improper clothes humiliate them. Also, helping the people to live under a safe shelter is the dream of the ISFH Foundation. We can see lots of poor lives in huts and tiny homes without proper safety from the rain, animals, etc. ISFH Foundation helps the individuals living in poverty lead happy lives by serving the nation with 6 major missions.

We have done a lot more research and have plans for removing every evil associated with underprivileged lives. As the need is more, the help should be huge to overcome the challenges; hence, we request to show kindness to India's impoverished and vulnerable sons and daughters by supporting our missions.
