We find Boss standing over the edge of the company building, getting ready to end it all for herself. She looks down with dead eyes and saying it'll all be over now. Suddenly a voice from behind yells out asking what she's doing, startling her. She turns to see her panting ex-husband. She asks how is he here and he starts telling her how the wife he knows isn't one to fall like this. He tells her how he's always been watching her from afar and worried about her since her business was going bad. Saying it's all because she's his wife one way or another. She starts tearing up and he reaches out his hand to her, telling her to take his hand and together they can thrive more than they do now, that he needs her. As the tear runs down her face, she calls out to him, "Honey...!", taking his hand and apologizing to him then thanking him.
A few months later at the office, CEO brings Boss who bows and apologizes to MC, saying she's ashamed to show up again like this. MC tries to ease it down. MC narrates how she returned to the company and that he doesn't know what happened to her but that it seemed like she's been through a lot in many ways, but at least they were back to relying on CEO. CEO tells MC how they've both had a rough time working together but now they can put the past behind them and work together again. MC narrates how he was relieved. He tells CEO he'll work together with her again and asks Boss to take care of him again at work. She smiles up at him saying she will, shaking hands with MC. MC narrates how everything felt like it was coming back to place, and...
MC goes on the rooftop for a smoke break like usual and surprised to see Minah on her smoke break too who also gets surprised to see him. She smiles at him and he smiles back without a word. They do their final chat together... MC asks her about her quitting the company next week and she confirms it. He asks her what she's gonna do now and she tells him how she's going to just take a break for awhile, go on a vacation and do stuff she hasn't done before. She mentions how she'll be looking for a handsome guy too, of course and MC flinches saying it'd be sad otherwise if she doesn't take a man. She turns to him smiling, saying it's a waste though the more she thinks about it. How out of everyone she's met, nobody has come close to her ideal type than MC. He gets flustered asking if she's still flirting even now. She tells him who cares and it's the last time anyway. She asks him when is he going to get married with Aram and MC tells her it's soon, when winter is over. She looks down and congratulates him and mentions how they have to make up too. She smiles up at MC, thanking and apologizing to him. She makes a bright cheery smile at him, saying they should forget about the bad feelings from the past and only keep the good memories of each other. She asks him if that's possible and he accepts it.
MC starts reminiscing about the past with Minah. Remembering the first time they met on the rooftop and narrating how looking back it, she was a special woman to him. He remembers she embarrassed him since days one with aggression, remembering when she hugged on after the drinking party. Remembering their first time having sex and narrating how he used to mix each other's bodies and share each other's feelings. However, in the end it didn't lead to a good result, remembering running into her with douche outside the restaurant. Nevertheless, it was all in the past and it's relieving that they could break up with a smile at the end and he's sure she feels the same way. MC finishes talking with her till sunset and waves goodbye to her with a smile. She smiles and waves back.
By herself now, Minah sighs saying how she's lonely and how this romance was a big failure. She figures it's all right though as there are a lot of men in the world anyway and next time she'll meet a healthier man.
Meanwhile, Sia sits at a park bench with douche and their baby, mentioning how it's snowed a lot this winter. Douche asks her why they went outside as they could catch a cold. She tells him how it's just frustrating staying at home. She looks over at him asking if he really quit his job at the company and he confirms it saying they weren't gonna pay anyway. She asks what should they do now and he says he'll get something but whatever it is, they'll keep eating and living. Mentioning he has a kid to raise after all. Looking down at their baby, she hesitates and tells douche how she can leave if he wants to and it's better for him anyway. Saying he doesn't need to be tied up with this and he doesn't need to bother with her and the kid. He declines, asking her if she wants him to leave, surprising her. He tells her how it's his child too and after realizing that, everything changed so he can't just live for himself anymore. As she stares at him in surprise, he keeps going saying he knows she won't believe him, but it's not easy to change everything at once. He turns to her saying nevertheless, he wants to try to be an actual 'family' with her and the baby. He asks what she thinks about it, asking if she's willing. She blushes and smiles at him, asking him if he can see the hardships in the future. He smiles asking her if she even wished for an easy road in the first place. After some time, someone asks if they should head inside now since it's getting cold and they agree.
MC narrates how everyone's affair was over now and time flew by and they lived faithfully in their lives, in their respective positions, how some people were just as they were... Boss gets heated with CEO asking about staying out late and he tries telling her he was just out drinking like usual. Boss complains and stuff but CEO thinks about how she's already been flirting with the new male employee too.
Others started new lives... Douche, now working in construction, sits around sighing at how hard it is and his boss yells at him to stop sitting around and carry the bags. Douche gets flustered telling him he'll do it right away. He looks down at his family photo with him and Sia happy with their baby and he smiles at it.
And another was just enjoying their time... Minah, relaxed at the beach in her bikini, starts saying how good it feels and how it's like she's healing. She mentions how she'll have to find work again but things will work out anyway. MC narrates how everyone was wrapping up in their respective 'Illicit Love'.
As for MC... MC and Aram are now married and MC calls out to her as "honey", saying he'll be back. Before leaving, Aram makes a whiny noise and he asks his new wife what's wrong. She feels her stomach and complains how she thinks she's gained weight. He asks her what is she talking about and how he thinks she looks fine. She starts pinching her stomach trying to tell him she's all flabby now. She goes on saying how she thinks she's gained more weight than before they married and MC tries telling her not to worry, saying she's lovely and pretty no matter what she looks like so don't get stressed out. She thanks him and he tells her to take care and leaves. She tells him goodbye and telling him she loves him.
Alone now, Aram still complains about how her weight and suddenly gets an idea... As the atmosphere around starts to darken... She smiles and gets the idea of getting a personal trainer. The scene blackens at the bad foreshadowing of the cycle continuing once again just like how it all started...
