BLACKAND WHITE POETRY

A hero a (wo)man

A hero a (wo)man
Thinks of others as much as they can
The word of God a hero speaks
All of their promises they try to keep

A hero gives to others first then them self
thinking of others and how they felt
a hero loves what they have and shows respect
prays to God meditates and reflects

A hero feeds anyone in need
Preaching and planting spiritual seeds
A hero always listens to others you see
A hero a (wo)man leads spiritually

A hero advice is always from the book
Or lessons they’ve learned from the roads they took

A hero a (wo)man a leader
Knows the disciples Paul and peter
God will always help you if you ask
Giving you guidance and a spiritual task

Hang around people you want to be like
Goals and choices the dreams are insight
A hero a (wo)man shows others the way
Living one day, day by day

Slowly one step at a time
A hero a (wo)man written in rhyme

Teach others all that you know
By your actions it will show
That you’re a hero a (wo)man that teaches about love
And leads others to the great God above

When you hear hero you might think of someone else
But I want you to know the hero yourself
