Gabrielle was born in Bordeaux, France. Her mother, Cynthia Valois, was a French dance teacher and ballerina. Her father, Azam Naji, was a Moroccan surgeon, researcher and professor. He has long since passed when Valois was a child and her mother is currently retired. Valois played soccer growing up and earned a black belt in judo.

Valois moved to Birmingham, England for more opportunities in wrestling in 2017. She returned to Bordeaux, France in late 2020 to live in her family's villa. She currently resides in Lyon, France as of 2022 where she was born.

Gabrielle is of Moroccan descent on her father’s side and a French native. She is a descendant of the royal Valois Dynasty of France from 1328-1589. While it is common for children to take on the father’s name, Gabrielle reports in an early interview that it was difficult finding work with a foreign last name and switched to her mother’s maiden name thereafter.

Professional Wrestling Career

Valois began her career in 2016 in a French-based promotion called Tigers Pro Wrestling. She has since competed in multiple independent promotions.

Westside Xtreme Championship Wrestling (2017-present)

Valois debuted in wXw in 2017, defeating Melanie Grey. This started a feud immediately as Valois continued to attack Grey after the match. Grey sought revenged and attacked Valois during her match with Toni Storm, securing the victory for Storm. The two battled in multiple singles matches with the feud ending at the True Colors show in a tables match. Gabrielle defeated Grey and moved on to face Millie McKenzie, Veda Scott, and Session Moth before challenging Toni Storm in a losing effort. Valois went on to face LuFisto, Kris Wolf, and Killer Kelly before a brief departure with the company. In 2019, she returned in a winning effort against Valkyrie. She goes on to defeat Skye Smitson, Jordynne Grace, and Toni Storm (c) before challenging for the title again. On June 1, 2019, Gabrielle defeated Toni Storm, Killer Kelly, and Valkyrie in a four-way match to become the new champion. She has held the title for over 600 days.

Alpha Pro Wrestling (@AlphaProRP) (2020-present)

Diamonds Division Championship and House of Valois

Gabrielle began working for a newly created promotion—Alpha Pro. She made her debut on December 4, 2020 in a match for the Diamonds Division Championship in a winning effort against Moon Kim and Jamie Hayter, becoming the first Diamonds Division Champion. In the same match, Gabrielle introduced the House of Valois with stablemates Nia Jax, Emiko Takahashi, and Skye Draven.

House of Valois became the first faction introduced into the company, but soon dwindled down as Draven and Takahashi left the group shortly after its inception. Gabrielle and Nia continue to represent the House as the only members thus far. Representing the House of Valois, Gabrielle had her first successful championship defense against Yuka Sakazaki on February 17th at Defect to Perfection.

RUSH (@TogetherWeRUSH) (2021)

Gabrielle debuted on January 16, 2021 against Jada-Rose Matthews (ThornOfHerRose) in a losing effort. On February 15th, she won her match against Collen McGregor. She celebrated her victory by forcing her opponent to bleed and using the blood to mark “RFK” into the skin.

TROI (@TheRingOfIMPACT) (2020)

Valois made her debut in TROI in the women’s Royal Rumble match at number twenty-two. Gabrielle proceeded to eliminate six women: Hayley Cabana, Liv Morgan, AJ Lee, Jamie Hayter, Arisa Hoshiki, and Ram Kaicho before being eliminated by the combined efforts of Yuki Kamifuku, Kisa Okada, and Okita.

TPC (@TPCforWrestling) (2021-Present)

As a part of RFK (Royal Flush Krew), Valois signed a contract with TPC in early February. She made her first appearance with the faction during a backstage segment on February 27, 2021. After a winning effort by Justin Starr against Crazzy Steve, RFK proceeded to attack him. Once Starr signed a contract to challenge for any championship in TPC, RFK proceeded to attack Triple H. The faction was suspended immediately for their actions. On April 7th, the faction made their presence known once more with an attack on Jada-Rose Matthews on her private yacht. Their next attack targeted Chris Jericho with Valois slicing his eye to blind him. On May 3, Chris challenged the RFK to a Lights Out match at TPC's HomeFront pay-per-view, in which the RFK won.

Gabrielle competed in singles action against Mina Shirakawa on June 15, 2021. A post-match attack involving Kaori Kaboyashi was interrupted as Jada-Rose returned for revenge against both women for attacking her weeks prior. The following week, Valois could be seen backstage watching Emiko compete, foreshadowing a potential showdown between both women.

After another hiatus, TPC returned and Gabrielle was placed in a multi-woman number one contender’s match for Rosemary’s championship. Gabrielle was unsuccessful as Konami made her intentions known that Gabrielle was her target, not the title. The two women battled it out up the ramp and left the match, allowing for Cora Jade to win with the help of Ricky Starks and Jada Rose. On the follow show, Gabrielle demands Konami explain her actions and invites her to the ring on Unsainted. Instead, Stephanie McMahon and removes Gabrielle from the ring after telling her Konami was not on the TPC Island.

Royal Flush Krew (2020-2021)

Valois revealed on social media that she aligned with a mysterious, new faction called RFK aka the Royal Flush Krew. Valois dubbed herself the "Queen of Spades" and became known as the Queen of the group. Alongside Justin Starr (Ace), Kai Foxx (King), Kaori Kobayashi (Ten of Hearts), and Corey Jackson (Jack of Clubs), Gabrielle has carried the faction name across promotions to represent a "new era" in professional wrestling.

The group cemented their status as a faction after defeating Chris Jericho and company in TPC in a unsanctioned, tag team match up. The group would later show solidarity as leader, Justin Starr, challenged two RFK members in a tag match with his former partner, Calyen Rogers, only to turn on the latter during the match.

ROH (@RPOfHonorWest) (2021-Present)

Gabrielle made her debut for ROH on March 18 in a triple threat match against Summer Rae (@OfRadiantWays) and Natalia Fliehr (@BlueEyedFlair) in a winning effort. Later that night, Valois attacked Summer Rae to make a statement to the ROH Television Champion, Jamie Hayter (@ThickGaijin). The following week on March 25, Gabrielle competed for the ROH Television Championship, but the match ended in a double count out. A rematch was made in a triple threat bout involving Tahlia Helmsley (CorVenenati) that ended with Gabrielle becoming the new ROH TV Champion on April 1, 2021.

Ring of Honor TV Championship Reign (2021-Present)

Gabrielle began her reign with a successful title defense against Natalya on April 10 before being attacked by Sierra Starr. A match was made the following week for the ROH Television Championship with Gabrielle defeating Starr to retain. She was attacked by the former champion, Jamie Hayter, who laid claim to the next championship match. The match was granted with both women competing in a steel cage match. Gabrielle retained her title over Hayter, but the latter was granted yet another title opportunity in a Last Woman Standing match with the stipulation being that Jamie could not challenge for the title again, so long as Gabrielle was champion. On May 9, the match ended in a draw as both women were attacked by Teal Piper, the daughter of "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

Company Re-brand and New Championship (IMPACTWrestlRP)

Ring of Honor announced on May 3, 2021 that the company would be re-branded into IMPACT Wrestling. The TV Championship was replaced with the X-Division Championship, making Gabrielle the first X-Division Champion since the company's re-branding.

As the X-Division Champion, Gabrielle's rivalry with Jamie Hayter continues as management placed her in multiple tag matches with or against Jamie. On June 6th, an Asylum match was schedule for IMPACT's Slammiversary between Valois, Jay Bandit, and Jamie Hayter for the IMPACT X-Division Championship after an attack from Bandit upon winning a three-on-three tag match.

On July 4, 2021 Gabrielle would retain the IMPACT X-Division Championship in the Asylum match after Jay Bandit surprisingly helps her secure the victory, leaving Hayter in a pile of rumble after the ring exploded. Bandit and Valois would continue to team up as they faced EYFBO (Santana & Ortiz) in a winning effort before making their claim for the tag team championships on July 11, 2021. On July 18, Valois would defeat Natalya.

New Division and Championship

IMPACT announced the arrival of the Knockouts Division, calling for Gabrielle to be stripped of the X-Division Championship on July 18, 2021.  Valois was placed into a match against former Television Champion, Remy Gunn the following week. The two competed in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match, but a winner could not be decided as both women scored the last pinfall. On August 8, 2021, IMPACT announced that the women will compete in a Three Stages of Hell Match for the women's title with a single pick between each woman and the company's general manager, Ember. On October 10, 2021, Gabrielle was defeated by Remy for the championship.

Second Rebrand

The company rebranded itself under the name All Elite Wrestling in 2022. On May 13, Gabrielle took part in the company's version of War Games in which the pinning competitor would be granted a title shot against any champion. Gabrielle's team lost against the reigning knockouts champion, Remy, as the champion made the pin. After a few weeks of absence, Gabrielle was later announced as part of the TNT Championship qualifying matches.

CATACLYSM (CataclysmIsHere)

Gabrielle made her first appearance for CATACLYSM May 27th in Issue Eight after a match between Eva Marie and Dakota Kai. She attacked Kai with the Bloody Mess (gory bomb), immediately establishing herself as a new, lethal face in the women's division. In Issue Nine on June 5th, Gabrielle proceeds to sneak attack Eva Marie after the latter’s opponent, Landon McKenzie, refused to compete. CATACLYSM announced on June 10th Gabrielle will compete against Eva Marie at CIVIL WAR for number one contendership match, in which Gabrielle was the victor. Valois continued her chase for the title the following week in tag team action against the Vixen's Champion, Sasha Banks and Eva Marie, with Landon McKenzie. The latter did not appear, making it a handicap match, in which Valois won after McKenzie distracted the champion by stealing the title. Valois would later attack the champion after the match. Gabrielle faced McKenzie July 3, 2021 in singles action. Landon attempted to no-show the match, forcing Gabrielle to retrieve her from the locker room to the ring before proceeding to submit the woman with the Être exsangue. In issue 14 of Cataclysm on July 15, Valois and Banks were involved in a contract signing for the Vixen's title, in which Banks would slap Gabrielle to add more fire to their title match. On August 1st at the Carnival of Carnage PPV, Valois would defeat Banks to win her first Vixen's Championship.

Brand Split: Velocity

On August 8, 2021, Gabrielle faced Natalya during Cataclysm's first draft. Valois retained her title and was drafted to the Velocity brand following the victory. She defeated Rhea Ripley and Asuka in a triple threat match on August 20 to retain her championship. Gabrielle would also defend against a number of women, including Kris Statlander, before losing to Cassie Lee at House of Horrors after interference from Jessie McKay.

Return to Cataclysm and Championship Reign

After a long hiatus, Cataclysm returned on April 30, 2022. Gabrielle returned to challenge the new United States Champion, Jon Moxley, but that did not come to fruition as Cataclysm went on a hiatus. Upon its return, Gabrielle was placed in a Battle Royale for Natalya’s Fatale Championship, in which she won on October 30, 2022.

Valois and Natalya proceeded to have a Two Out of Three Falls match, in which Gabrielle successfully defeated Natalya to become the champion on January 30, 2023.

World of Wrestling (2021-Present)

WOW Women's Championship Tournament

On June 6, 2021, WOW announced two tournaments for the men's and women's divisions to crown the very first world champions in the company. Valois was announced in the first round of the tournament against Arisa Hoshiki. Due to unforseen circumstances, Gabrielle did not face Arisa and received a by into the next round against Violet Harper to determine the finals of the tournament.
