Directing skills are scored on creativity and harmony, expression of energy, music and composition.
On the 18th, the WT held the Gangwon-Chuncheon World Taekwondo Culture Festival Organizing Committee and the World Taekwondo Beach Championships in Songam Sports Town, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do for the first time in four years.
Beach Taekwondo first started in Rhode Island, Greece in 2017 and held the World Championships every year, but was suspended in the aftermath of the spread of the new coronavirus infection (Corona 19), and resumed after 4 years this year.
Attending the event were President Cho Jung-won, the presidencies of the five continental federations, WT Executive Committee members, IOC Vice President Sermiang Ong, and Chuncheon Mayor Yuk Dong-han.
The WT and the organizing committee will hold four international competitions including Beach Taekwondo,
World Taekwondo Octagon Diamond Games, World Taekwondo Demonstration Contest, and World Para Taekwondo Open Challenge until the 24th.
