Phil Suess began mentioning certain individuals at first when he joined the office of Mayor, them being Tina Walters and Al Schefske. After a while, it morphed into an indirect advertisement and endorsement campaign for the two and their imaginary investment and development project. Suess claimed that it was a brilliant initiative taken by the city government and the people took it as a show of faith that the Mayor was actually doing something for them and their future generations.
Indirectly, Mayor of Wheaton had marketed the fact that it was about to be a multi-million dollar project that was bound to bring a lot of business to the city and was a great investment. However, the only thing I have learned from actually investing in it was that it was a bitter experience. I wish I could have seen even a small portion of what would transpire with the investment I was making. As it turns out, the Project only existed on paper and was a means for the three parties involved to make easy money.
