Konami Expands Concerto Video Slot Lineup

Game provider Konami Gaming is expanding its range of Concerto video slot products, it said in a press release Wednesday.

The new lineup includes slot machines, which offer multi-game versions, and new display formats, including sloped screens, curved single screens and flat single screens, the company said.

Konami said the expanded Concerto product line will be showcased at the Global Game Expo (G2E) trade show in Las Vegas, the U.S., from Sept. 27-29.

The new Concerto Slant matches the original video upright version, but features a 27-inch high-definition gaming screen with a low profile and new angle posture designed to enhance player comfort and convenience, the company said.

Konami is also introducing a selection multi-game platform into the concerto range. This means that the game vendor can include up to 10 different game themes in the cabinet. The Concerto SelectXion is available for both standard Concerto upright and Concerto Slant machines.

The new Concerto stack features a single screen instead of the dual screen configuration of standard Concerto Uplights. The Concerto Crescent contains a single curved screen.

In a statement included in the press release, Matt Reback, Konami's vice president of marketing, said, "The core element of Concerto is designed with players in mind and designed to optimize revenue potential."

He added: "We are now expanding these key components into more industry-leading video formats to allow operators to diversify their casino floors into a variety of cabinets and game content." 바다이야기

The Concerto video slot is doing well in Asia, according to Konami's parents, Japan-based Konami Holdings. Konami Holdings, along with the company's Podium Cabinet series, said in its latest results announcement that the product "recorded strong sales in the Asian market, especially in the Philippines," in the second quarter of this year.

The Concerto Cabinet was launched in North America in the last quarter of 2015. Konami began selling new concerto cabinets in Asia and Oceania in the first quarter of 2016.

The Concerto is the successor to the Konami Podium cabinet with enhanced processing power and dual high definition touchscreen monitors.
