Davis Agrees to Extend Contracts Up to KRW 243.3 Billion for Three Years

The Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) have agreed to a new contract with Anthony Davis (30).

ESPN, a U.S. sports channel, said on the 5th (Korea Standard Time) that the Lakers and Davis have agreed to a three-year, up to $186 million (24.3 billion won) contract. Davis, who had a two-year, $84 million (109.9 billion won) contract remaining, will wear the Lakers' uniform until 2028 under the extended contract. The total amount of contracts increased to 270 million dollars (353.2 billion won).

ESPN said, "After Davis was eligible to sign a three-year contract extension, Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and Davis' agent Rich Paul quickly completed the deal."
