AODA, aka, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, is a law that outlines a procedure for developing and imposing accessibility standards. Persons with disabilities (PwDs) and business representatives collaborate with the government to develop such standards.
Under these standards, the government is liable for developing accessibility standards that every organization has to follow. Implementing and enforcing AODA directional ground surface indicators and standards will help to make Ontario more accessible by 2025.
