How to choose your favorite LCD

1 screen size
When we buy an LCD monitor, the first consideration is the size of the "face". For a liquid crystal display, the size of its panel is the size of the visible area, similar to a CRT display. For displays of the same specification, the viewing area of LCD is larger than that of CRT. Generally speaking, a 15-inch LCD is equivalent to a 17-inch CRT, a 17-inch LCD is equivalent to a 19-inch CRT, and a 19-inch LCD is equivalent to a 21-inch CRT.
Since everyone has different eye habits and different user purposes, this also determines the screen size of the monitor to be purchased is also different.

2 Response time
At present, the biggest selling point of liquid crystal displays is the ever-increasing response time. From the initial 25ms to the current 4ms gray scale, the speed has increased amazingly. The response time determines the number of picture frames that the monitor can display per second. Generally, when the picture display speed exceeds 25 frames per second, the human eye will regard the rapidly changing picture as a continuous picture. To achieve the best display effect when playing DVD movies, CS and other games, the screen display speed must be above 60 frames per second, and the response time must be above 16ms to meet the requirements. That is to say, the shorter the response time, the faster the change. The picture display is more perfect. We are the lcd manufacturers for small size displays such as 1.8inch 128x160, 2.0inch 176x220, 2.0inch 240x320 IPS, 2.8inch 240x320, 3.5inch 320x240 and 3.5inch 320x480 IPS ect.

3 Brightness/contrast
Liquid crystal is a substance between liquid crystal and liquid crystal and cannot emit light by itself, so the brightness of the backlight determines its brightness. Generally speaking, the higher the brightness of the liquid crystal display, the more vivid the color displayed and the better the realistic effect. The brightness unit of liquid crystal display is cd/m2 (lumens), and the brightness of ordinary liquid crystal display is 250cd/m2. If the brightness is too low, the displayed color will be dark, and you will feel tired after watching it for a long time. Contrast is the ratio of brightness, that is, in a dark room, the brightness under a white picture divided by the brightness under a black picture. Therefore, the brighter the white, the darker the black, the higher the contrast, the clearer and brighter the displayed picture, and the stronger the sense of color gradation. Generally, the contrast ratio of liquid crystal displays is 300:1, some better ones can reach 400:1, while traditional CRT displays can reach 500:1. If the contrast ratio is less than 250:1, we will have a fuzzy feeling when we look at the screen.

4 perspective
Since the light of the liquid crystal display is emitted forward through the liquid crystal at an angle close to vertical, when we look at the screen from other angles, it will not be as clear as a CRT display, but it will see obvious color distortion. This is caused by the size of the viewing angle. Specifically, viewing angles are divided into horizontal viewing angles and vertical viewing angles. When choosing a liquid crystal display, try to choose a product with a large viewing angle. At present, the angle of the liquid crystal display is basically above 140 degrees, which can meet the needs of ordinary users. Regardless of the viewing angle, whether it is convenient for you to use is fundamental, and it is best to choose according to your daily usage habits.
