When you are relocating, you need to have a plan, so that you can be more organised and it will make the process easier for you. Relocation is no doubt stressful, but it will go smoother if you have a plan in place and if you hire reliable and trusted
Home Relocation Services. The first thing that you need to do is have a plan in place and map everything out that you need to take care of. And once you have a plan, you can then set out with the moving process. To make things easier for you, here’s a checklist that you can follow:

Cover These Aspects 4 to 6 Weeks Prior Moving Day: The first thing that you need to do is do your research and ask for quotes from Home and Office Relocation Services. Once you have the quotes from three to four service providers, compare everything from the price to the services that they provide and then make an informed and sound decision. And if you are moving by yourself you should start getting packing supplies and booking trailers. However, the ideal sound decision will be to hire professional movers. You should consider decluttering the house to make the packing process easier and to donate or sell the things that you do not use or need. If you are determined to make the move by yourself, you should start packing.

During this given period, you should also let the landlord or your real estate agent know that you are relocating, the latter is for if you own the house and you want to sell it off. When you are moving out, you need to make sure that the house is clean, so have cleaners ready once the professionals are done moving all the items. You should also mend if there are any damages, this is especially necessary if you want to get your bond back.

Do These 3 Weeks Prior:
By the third week, you need to get every document and paperwork that are necessary to make the move. Make sure that you do not pack them with the other items as you will need them, so keep them near you, so you can have access to it whenever needed. You should also notify anyone who needs to know. Then change your address in the mail, bank, medicare, license, insurance, and wherever needed. If you are relocating to a different state, you should also look for a new job, if it is not the reason for the move.

2 Weeks In:
If you are relocating to the same locality or the same state when you cancel your utilities, you should redirect them to your new location if they offer services there. Make sure that gas, electricity, internet, and the phone will be available when you move to your new place. And if you have any younger kids and pets, you can arrange baby or pet-setting for them as you will want to keep them out of the way on the moving day when the movers are doing their job. If you have any upcoming deliveries, you should also redirect them if you don’t want any hassles later. Go over to your new residence and if you think that you need a parking permit for the big day, get one.

1 Week Prior:
As the moving day is nearing, you should consider making an appointment for property inspection if you were living in a rented place, so that you can ensure that you get your bond back from the landlord. During these days you need to start cleaning out the pantry and the fridge, as when you move you have to unplug the fridge and if there are any food items, they will go bad. If you have hired Home Relocation Services, they will do all the packing, lifting, loading, and unloading for you, but you also need to make sure to pack all the necessary documents, including keys, wallets, documents, passport, jewellery, medication, and more.

Moving Day:  On the moving day, you might get more nervous, but try to stay calm and let the experts do their job. While you make sure that the important items do not get mixed up with the other boxes and that you have checked everything from the checklist. Check again to make sure that you have not left anything behind. Turn off the switch, gas, water, and everything, once everything is moved.

Whether you are relocating, you need to make sure that everything is well planned out so that things go smoothly and there will be less stress. And if you are moving office, hire
Office Relocation Services and make sure to create a checklist as well. As for those who are moving their home this checklist will come in handy.
