Guide to Configuring and Optimizing Windows 10

I like to tinker with hardware, bring computers into combat condition and understand various software. This is due to the fact that my family has always had a lot of computers. After several trips to service centers back in the noughties, it became clear that giving away a PC for several days, usually even weeks, often without solving the problem, is not an option. Then I began to understand how all this magic works, first in the Windows itself, and then inside the case.

So I began to independently diagnose problems, maintain and bring my cars into working order, and later assemble the PC. As a result, over time, I began to do this not only for myself, but also at the request of friends / acquaintances, and even earn extra money in this business.

A computer networking support specialist might require to lift and transfer heavy computer devices, travel or install networking cables or devices.

Not so long ago, as a hobby, I started a YouTube channel to upload videos about hardware + software and improve my editing skills. I thought it would be appropriate to share a vidos about setting up Windows on a site that I read every day and where a lot of boyars' PCs sit. I will be glad if my recommendations are useful for you and your iron friend.

In fact, Windows 10 optimization is divided into three main stages:

1. Installing updates and drivers

2. Configuring Windows 10

3. System care

The first step assumes that Windows 10 is already installed on your computer. I will not explain the installation process, so if you have such a need - use any current installation guide. I will only note that you definitely need to install Windows 10 from the official Microsoft website . This is the only way you can be sure that you have a clean OS without built-in viruses and cut functions.

0. Screen dimming
Before we start, let's take a look at the " Control Panel" , here put " Large icons " so that all the settings icons appear.

Go to " User Accounts ", click " Change User Account Control Settings ." Here, select the penultimate notification level, which says " Do not darken the desktop ." This is to turn off screen dimming when pop-up windows to confirm the action of the program.

Or we select the last lower level - then we completely disable annoying pop-ups. I don't know about you, but I am wildly annoyed by this constant darkening of the screen. It just takes time and stops the system, this is especially noticeable on weak machines.
