NBA Orlando Signs Home Stadium Naming Sponsor Contract

The name of the Amway Center, home of the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association (NBA), will be changed to Kia Center.

"The Amway Center, home of sports and entertainment in downtown Orlando and the home of the Orlando Magic, will be renamed the Kia Center," Orlando said on its website on Monday, announcing the signing of a naming sponsor contract with Kia. It is the first time that a Korean company has signed a naming sponsor contract for the NBA's home stadium. Although the size of the contract has not been disclosed, it is expected to be much bigger than Amway, who signed a naming sponsor contract for 13 years, given that it paid about 4 million dollars per year. 스포츠토토

In fact, Kia has been associated with the NBA since 2005. Currently, Kia, one of the NBA's official sponsors, has a name used in titles such as the All-Star Game and the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

"We and Kia America have been proud partners for many years and share the joy of Kia's success and growth," Orlando CEO Alex Martins said. "We look forward to an expanded partnership where Kia can deliver a direct and impactful message beyond using the power of the NBA with fans."
