Shaheed Udham Singh was an Indian progressive who was an individual from the Ghadar Party and was most popular for killing Michael O'Dwyer on March 13, 1940. At the hour of the Jallianwala Bagh slaughter in Amritsar, Michael O'Dwyer was the lieutenant legislative leader of Punjab. Because of the falling apart lawfulness circumstance in Punjab, British Army General Reginald Dyer was approved by Michael O'Dwyer to do whatever it takes to reestablish a request in the territory.

EARLY LIFE 

• Udham Singh was brought into the world on December 26, 1899, in Sunam, Sangrur region, Punjab, India, to a Sikh Koli family as Sher Singh. 

• His dad Tehal Singh Kamboj and his mom both passed on right on time. 

• Singh and his senior sibling, Mukta Singh, were taken in by the Central Khalsa Orphanage Putlighar in Amritsar after their dad passed on. 

• At the shelter, Singh was given the name Udham Singh and was given the Sikh initiatory ceremonies. In 1918, he breezed through his registration test and left the shelter in 1919.
