HELL
You have gone to HELL.
It is DECIDEDLY BAD here...
Demons scratch at you...
Chase you round a froze Lake !
[Beans32 HELL(I was writing with 32bit pascal)]

This is Chuck's Raw-Beans Translation
Inferno Terze 1-18
Raw Beans are my poetic invention.
Like Haiku's 5,7,5
(originally rows of KATANA ideograms,
strictly 5,7,5 (referencing Buddha ?)
they became syllables or poetic feet in English... and most don't adhere to form.)
Raw Beans are 5,7,5,6 syllables,
referencing Yitzak Rabin.
I had a dream of a formal funeral
the night before he was killed.

The Inferno
[5] Midway in Our Walk
[7] Along the Journey of Life
[5] I woke in a Dark Woods [1]
[6] Alone, Without a Path
O how Hard to Tell
This Wild, Savage, Thorny Wood !
To Think upon it [2]
Renews all my old Fears !
How Bitter a Place !
Just One False Step might be Death !
But, to Teach of Good [3]
I shall show its Absence
How this came to Be
Is unclear as a Nightmare
Startled from my Sleep [4]
A Mission ? False... yet True !
When I found Myself
In a Valley, 'neath a Hill
At that Forest's Edge [5]
My Heart plunged in Terror
I looked up, and Saw
That Hill shrouded in Rays of Light
Sent by our Tell Star [6]
Which shows All the Straight Way
My Heart's Lake grew Calm
Terror began to Subside
From that Rosy Peak [7]
Of my Desperation
Just as a Swimmer
Panting, Exhausted on Shore
Looks back at that Deep [8]
Now safe from those Dangers
Against my own Will
I turned round, to gaze Once More
Upon that Dark Pass [9]
No One Escaped Alive
Tired, I rested there
Began to Scale that Bare Slope
Climbing with Effort [10]
My Weight on my Strong Foot
On that Rising Path
A Leopard, Slim, and so Swift !
Her Skin was Covered [11]
By many Mottled Spots
Everywhere I Looked
That Animal Blocked my Way
Time and Time Again [12]
I was about to Leave
In the Early Morn
The Sun climbed with those Same Stars
The Faithful and True [13]
From the Very First Day
That Day, Divine Love
Began their Beautiful Arc
Such a Sweet Season [14]
Gave me Hope to Proceed
Past that Spotted One
Hope gave way, and Fear returned
A Lion's Figure [15]
Blocked my Upward Motion
He came straight at me
Head raised, Hungry, Furious
The Very Air Seemed [16]
To Fear in his presence
Now a She-Wolf came
Lean, and racked with Greediness
How many Poor Souls [17]
Those Teeth have brought to Grief ?
This Beast brought me Low
My Spirit Seized with such Fear
At the Sight of her [18]
I lost all hope to Climb
