Priyanka Chopra has definitely elevated the movie’s story and the background for much of the foreground action.
She was self-respect personified, in the era where having 2-3 wives was common she was straightforward about what she wanted to say and did not hesitate to claim her place with sheer dignity.
Her famous dialogues were the real show-stealers. While the movie was predominantly about the love between Bajirao and Mastani, we cannot ignore the fact that Kashibai is a hopeless romantic like many of us.
