champions of tea’s, as they are more complex than other teas. All the whole-leaf tea is made with
orthodox production methods.
Assam Orthodox leaf- Assam produces both CTC and Orthodox teas. This orthodox tea has long
twisted leaves put in a pyramid bag, packed with strength and flavour. The brew is not as strong as
CTC tea but the cup is bright and highly aromatic. You may add a dash of milk if you wish.

also add lemon/honey, stir and fill the glass with ice cubes .
 We can now enjoy the Aromatic Flavour of the Traditional Tea in our warm houses.
How Orthodox tea is made ?
Tea leaves are handpicked by tea pluckers and are usually stored in the bamboo baskets which are
tied to their back with a piece of cloth. Bamboo baskets are organics so helps them staying fresh.
Withering Freshly plucked tea leaves are spread and laid out indoors or outdoors under the sun to
remove the moisture content. Withering softens the tea leaves, by making them flexible and supple
so they won’t crumble during the rest of the processing steps.
After the withering process the tea leaves are then rolled to the desired shape either by using
machines or by hand-pressing.
Oxidising is a process that helps the tea leaves attain their ultimate flavour, colour , appearance and
aroma. The level of oxidization determines the different types of tea.
The oxidized teas are again further dried in ideal temperature before they are sent for final
packaging and transportation.
