Chile's tourist business has a lot of promise because of the country's magnificent natural beauty, strong economy, and political and economic stability. However, the company is still in its infancy. More and more visitors are choosing to experience Chile's natural beauty through eco- and adventure tourism in addition to traditional lodging and tour packages. estate agents
Increasing numbers of eco-tourism enterprises are entering this industry with the goal of providing travelers with unique outdoor travel experiences while also protecting the environment and transporting them to destinations that are hard of reach using regular lodging and tour arrangements.
World Property Channel sat down with Dream On co-founders Ignacio Alamos and Carlos Lyng to get the scoop on this hot new trend.
Adventure tourism and eco-tourism are two different things.
Eco-tourism is a form of sustainable tourism focused on environmental and cultural preservation that takes place in environmentally and historically relevant regions. In adventure tourism, people participate in a variety of different types of tourism activities in order to see far-off places.
Describe to me the eco- and adventure tourism sectors of Chile's economy.
There are so many different landscapes within a short distance of one another in Chile that it might be a top destination for eco-tourism and adventure tourism. Only 200 kilometers separate the ocean from the Andes mountains, while 500 kilometers separate the desert from forests. However, even if the industry is still developing, it has the potential to be of global relevance in a few years given its rapid growth.
What are the opportunities and threats for ecotourism and adventure tourism in Chile?
The most important issue is to take these types of tourism activities to new places, to places that have not before been visited. Traveling in an environmentally sustainable and protective manner while providing high-quality experiences is essential if we are to find these sites. In order for eco-tourism and adventure tourism, which are only getting started, to succeed, they need to evolve in this way.

What are a few real-world instances of expeditions?
One of the adventures we provide is the five-day Geike Expedition. Chilean Patagonia near Torres del Paine along the Serrano River is the setting for the adventure, which will include a three-day kayak journey. The journey includes stops at the Geike Glacier, which requires a four-hour horseback ride, as well as the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, before returning to Puerto Natales. Comau Trip comprises a voyage on the boat "La Bohemia" across the Comau Fjord from Puerto Montt in the Lake Region to Hornopirén National Park, where we trek to the Hornopirén Volcano. This is another expedition. Before returning to Puerto Montt, we stop at the hot springs in Caleta Porcelana and Calbuco for lunch and a traditional regional delicacy called curanto.
