The best part of the Dingle Peninsula drive is by far the Slea Head Loop. We started very early in the morning and finished driving the entire peninsula by about 1 pm, so it took us roughly 6 hours to complete all of the stops and driving. You probably are used to seeing lots of sheep if you’ve spent more than a day in Ireland at this point too, but be prepared for lots of animals along your drive on the peninsula – including sheep & cows. Be advised: some of the local animals are not fenced in and can clog up the roadway – we got stuck behind two different herds of animals on this drive. Find more at
