Course goals and requirements for PHP and MySQL
This PHP and MySQL tutorial will introduce you to the basics of PHP programming and database management.
Our goal is to learn about PHP and MySQL in a hands-on way to make the most of both technologies.
To gain a thorough understanding of PHP, we will begin with the basics and work our way up to more sophisticated concepts to better understand how PHP works, its particularities, and when and why to utilise this language. Once you've grasped PHP's core concepts, you'll be ready to move on to MySQL and the SQL language that powers it, as well as the relationships between the two.

Regardless of whether or not you have a prior understanding of PHP or MySQL, you will undoubtedly gain something from this course due to its progressive nature.
However, a basic understanding of HTML and CSS is required to be successful in this course. I welcome anyone who isn't fluent in either of these languages to look at
my whole course on the topic by visiting this link.
This course has been broken down into many sub-chapters, each further subdivided into parts for educational and learning reasons.
You may always go to the course outline on your left to get a sense of where you are in the course and where you need to go next.
Each concept in the course is explained using real-world examples. Practise has been heavily emphasised to make the course as digestible, enjoyable, informative, and valuable as possible.
It is your responsibility to know the codes for the various examples presented. However, if you're serious about progressing, I advise you to take a playful attitude and put in the time to practise each one rather than simply copying and pasting it.
