Squares.  (Ideas I agree with)

1. The idea that the Bible is God's story on his plan to rescue, restore and redeem the people that don't know him because of sin makes sense to me.  The more i read it the more i understand this to be true. at first it may not seem this way but if we take a step back and analyze the Bible as a whole this content will show itself. 

2.The reading says, "His desire is to restore the relationship and fellowship he had with human beings in the garden of Eden. [CartwrightHulshof (2019). (p. 5). Everyday Bible Study, Second Edition. This is so important. often people ask what is the point or why should i take the steps towards knowing more of Christ. the fact that God wants to know you should move the individual to cure the curiosity. 

3. God accomplishes his plan through Jesus. Jesus is the touchdown to the game of life. He is the ultimate answer and ultimate sacrifice. Because of Jesus we have a path back to God. 

4.  In the "How Not To Look at the Bible" chapter the author does a great job in explaining the principle of not literally conforming to every rule.  Doing so is taking the bible out of context. Certain rules or laws were created for certain times or certain people. Trying to live by every single rule would certainly lead one to a life of not being able to fulfill those rules and laws. 

Triangles (Ideas never considered)

1. viewing the Bible as an ultimate set of rules to follow eliminates the needs for Jesus. This is another reason why this view can be dangerous. If one sees the completion of all rules as the way to heaven then why did Jesus die on the cross?

2. Considering the Bible as having multiple genres goes a long way towards the understanding of the context. it allows the ready to more closely relate to the message or text read. 

3. Another fresh perspective relates again to viewing the Bible as a set of rules. Doing this would limit the Bible to being a guide book.

Circles (Ideas I questioned)

1.  While I did not have many questions ill pose these for conversation. If Christ was the center point of the book of Luke and the Holy Spirit the center point of the book of acts, Should we then live to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance and revelation today?

2. Should we then take pieces of the Bible and adapt it to our lives or adapt our lives to the Bible?

1. I am sure that I am no the only one that pictures a cross when we read this section,"Most notably, the New Testament restates the two greatest commands that relate to the primary purpose for the law: love God (vertical relationship between God and his followers) and love your neighbor (horizontal interrelationships among people)". The very fact that so many signs point to Jesus in the word is tremendous.
