Phoebe Omega (w/ Sydney Blake) vs. Nikki Bella (w/ Brie Bella)
Earlier in the night, Phoebe Omega competed in a grueling Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Championship match, successfully defending her titles alongside Sydney Blake. In that match, she suffered visible damage to her left leg, a point of vulnerability Nikki Bella intends to exploit. Nikki, coming off a high-profile Evolution Battle Royal, is battered but focused—determined to prove that the Bella name still reigns at the top. The match is not about titles—it’s about identity.
The lights dim. The Evolution stage glows gold and silver. Sydney Blake walks out first, holding all her gold—WWE Women’s Intercontinental, NXT Women’s, and one-half of the Tag Team Championships. Then comes Phoebe Omega, limping slightly, yet her expression is unshakable. She touches her knee briefly before sprinting down—masking the pain with adrenaline. Nikki Bella enters with Brie, soaking in the nostalgic reaction of the crowd. The Bellas bump fists before Nikki marches down to the ring, eyes locked on Phoebe. Brie Bella following in toe with the signature Bella-lution flag from the original event in 2018.
MICHAEL COLE:
“Fatigue on both sides. Emotion. Pride. And a division that’s watching this match closely. Can Phoebe Omega shatter the ego of the WWE Hall of Famer or has Nikki Bella played enough mind games with Omega over the weeks?”
WADE BARRETT:
“Notice very closely as Brie Bella is literally out here identical to her twin sister Nikki. That’s apart of the mind games Nikki has played with Phoebe sending Brie Bella to Monday Night RAW in her place!”
The bell rings with Nikki Bella immediately targeting the injured leg of Phoebe Omega with a series of dropkicks, dragon screws, and a knee crusher against the bottom rope. Phoebe grimaces but pushes through, landing a desperate Eat Defeat out of nowhere to buy time. Phoebe favors her leg with every leap and twist. When she hits her Back Handspring Senton, she lands awkwardly and immediately grabs the knee. Nikki pounces with a snap DDT and taunts Sydney from across the ring.
Nikki attempts a superplex from the apron, but Phoebe counters and pulls her down, landing a Spinning Blue Thunder Bomb on the floor. She screams in pain holding her knee after the impact. Both women lay on the floor with Omega clutching at her knee. Both Sydney Blake and Brie Bella attempt to help both women on their feet to beat the nine count.
Nikki Bella gets back to her feet first looking to set up for the Rack Attack, a nod back to Survivor Series 2014 when Nikki Bella defeated Phoebe Omega’s inspiration AJ Lee. Lifting Phoebe in the air onto her shoulders, Omega fights free mid-air—sliding into the Devil’s Widow submission! Nikki thrashes wildly, her arm flailing—Brie Bella pulls the rope closer! Referee doesn’t see it as Sydney Blake gets on the apron. The crowd boos as Brie Bella reaches in to grab the arm of Nikki to get the rope break—but only barely.
MICHAEL COLE:
“Phoebe’s using every ounce of herself—she’s emotionally and physically breaking down in there. Those screams as she wrenches the arm of Nikki — very much like her hero in the past.”
Phoebe Omega eyes Nikki from the corner looking to charge for her patent finisher — the Pre—T Trigger. Brie Bella gets on the apron holding the Tag Team Championship distracting Phoebe. Sydney jumps on the apron having a tug of war over the championship with Brie before it’s tossed into the ring. Sydney pleads for the referee to hand her the championship as Omega looks on lost in the moment before getting caught with a wicked forearm from Nikki! Blake attempts to enter the ring with the referee holding her back as Brie Bella enters the ring. Once the referee turns back, both Bella stood in front of him with the identical gear on. Nikki then gets out of the ring with Sydney laser focused for the moment.
SYDNEY BLAKE:
“That’s Brie! Watch your back!”
Omega groggy gets back to her feet to turn around to a wild attempt of a strike from Brie as she ducks catching the arm. Bringing Brie to the ground, Phoebe hits the Double Stomp Armbreaker taking Brie’s arm completely out of commission as she rolls out of the ring. While Omega is distracted, Nikki Bella comes through with a roll up! 1! 2! KICKOUT!
WADE BARRETT:
“Sydney Blake just saved this match from becoming a farce. The Bella Twins nearly stole the main event of Evolution!”
Deeper into this main event contest, Nikki Bella hits a top-rope diving forearm nearly driving Phoebe through the mat. However, she wasn’t finished there. Bella quickly capitalizes picking Omega up on her shoulders before bringing her crashing down to the mat with the Rack Attack 2.0. Immediately scrambling into the cover: 1—2—2.9—KICKOUT!!! Nikki Bella and everyone in the arena are in shock as Phoebe Omega kicks out of the Rack Attack. Sydney pleads with Omega while Brie attempts to calm Nikki. Phoebe crawls to the corner with tears in her eyes emotionally pulling herself back up favoring her knee.
PHOEBE OMEGA:
“You want a moment, you’re going to have to kill me for it! I’ll never die after tonight, my legacy will live forever — you old bitch!”
The venom behind her words only stung Nikki’s pride. Hobbling to the center, Omega had one last gasp left in her. She begged Nikki to hit her. Even slapping Bella across the face. This enraged Nikki as she charged Omega for another forearm strike. Phoebe ducks under the strike popping back up with a vicious Pre-T Trigger which drops Bella instantly to her knees. A guttural scream echoed through the arena. Omega grabs Nikki by her hair connecting with the bidi bidi BOMB BOMB. The crowd is on their feet as Omega has tears streaming down her face looking into the crowd to spot someone special — her brother Kenny Omega.
PHOEBE OMEGA:
“I can do this!”
Dropping to a knee as her eyes focused back to a fallen Nikki Bella, Phoebe Omega knew her next move would make headlines and turn a few heads backstage. Grabbing Nikki to bring her to her feet, Omega simply stood behind her and the crowd erupted. For her very first time in her career, Phoebe would be attempting the One Winged Angel. Lifting Bella up on her shoulders, she used every ounce of power she had left unhooking one leg to send Nikki crashing down to the canvas! A cover: 1..2..3!!!!!
WINNER: PHOEBE OMEGA
Phoebe lies motionless on her back, sobbing into the lights. Sydney slides in, kneeling over her partner, whispering something no one else can hear. Sydney lifts Phoebe enough so she could sit up against her while they both admired the crowd around them.
The crowd chants:
“THIS IS WRESTLING!”
“WOMEN’S WRESTLING!!”
MICHAEL COLE:
“She didn’t just survive Nikki Bella. She honored her past… and carved her future. Take nothing away from Nikki Bella, she looked absolutely incredible out there. Another Evolution, another great main event from Nikki Bella. Phoebe Omega bids you all to continue to Elevate Women’s Wrestling.”
Nikki slowly sits up. Bruised. Exhausted. But humbled. She locks eyes with Phoebe from the corner, and nods—not out of defeat, but respect. The Bellas walk up the ramp. Sydney and Phoebe hold up the tag titles, glowing in the moment.
