He was diagnosed with renal disease 2 years prior, and also had hypertension and nephrosclerosis, with no hearing or ocular impairments. A kidney biopsy indicated collapsing focal segmental glomerulosclerosis with arteriosclerosis with hyalinosis and 80% fibrosis.
