Highlights From Qualifier 1 of IPL 2022 between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals: David Miller and Hardik Pandya played unbeaten knocks of 68 and 40 respectively as Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets in Qualifier 1 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata to enter the final of the ongoing IPL 2022.
Matthew Wade, Shubman Gill also chipped in with quality knocks and in the end, Gujarat registered a win over Rajasthan. Rajasthan Royals will now face the winner of the RCB-LSG clash in the hope to enter the final of the tournament.
Earlier, Gill and Matthew Wade put on a show, taking the score to 64/1 after the end of first six overs. Gujarat Titans had got off to the worst start possible in their chase of 189 as Trent Boult removed Wriddhiman Saha on the second ball of the innings and now Matthew Wade and Shubman Gill are looking to rebuild the innings.
Earlier, Jos Buttler played a knock of 89 runs as Rajasthan Royals posted 188/6 against Gujarat Titans in the ongoing Qualifier 1 of IPL 2022 at the Eden Gardens. Buttler was slow off the blocks initially and he was left struggling as he searched for timing.
However, having reached his half-century in the 17th over of the innings, Buttler managed to strike boundaries at regular intervals and hence Rajasthan Royals posted a score of more than the 185-run mark.
