ear microsuction

Ear microsuction is a procedure that uses a tiny suction cup to remove excess wax and debris from the ear canal. It's especially useful for people who have a lot of wax buildup, which can cause hearing loss and other problems.

We offer ear microsuction treatments at our clinic in Edgware. The procedure takes only about 10 minutes, and afterward you'll be able to resume your normal activities right away.

Ear microsuction is safe and effective, but it's not always covered by insurance plans. We'll let you know what your options are before we begin your treatment.

Ear microsuction is a procedure that uses suction to remove ear wax from the ear canal. Ear wax is commonly found in the outer ear, but it can also be found in the middle ear. Ear wax helps protect the skin of your ears from water and germs and keeps dirt out.

The procedure involves inserting a small, hollow tube into your ear canal that has a tiny vacuum on one end. A small amount of liquid is put in the tube, then some gentle suction is applied to draw out excess material from your ear canal. The liquid helps to loosen up any hard-to-remove material so it can be easily removed through the tube.

The process takes just a few minutes and doesn't hurt much at all—it's similar to having water run down your ear canal when you're swimming, but with less pressure and not as much water. You may feel some pressure during this process as well, but if you do experience pain or discomfort when doing so, stop immediately and speak with your doctor about what's going on.
