Surfers Paradise Movies on the Beach will see an outdoor movie screen on one of the Gold Coast’s most famous beaches nightly for a whole week from this Saturday 18 December.
Grab a bite to eat in one of the many Surfers Paradise outlets and enjoy an evening of free, family-friendly fun in the lead up to Christmas – see if you can spot the carollers and stilt walkers throughout Cavill Mall!

If you’re in search of a way to keep the kids (and the big kids) entertained this weekend, head to the much-loved Paradise Centre in the heart of Surfers Paradise to check out some unmissable events and cracking deals.
From shopping to prizes and entertainment, there’s something for the young and the young at heart.
Summer in Paradise kicks off on December 18, and all you need to do is spend $40 in centre at participating retailers for your chance to nab some awesome prizes!
Think Apple AirPods to Yeti coolers and Sunnylife pool rings to level up your summer in the sunshine. You can Spin & Win from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm daily.

Things are certainly heating up this weekend, both in the events and the temperature sense.
Head to The Star for the kick-off of its jam-packed summer series, featuring a choose-your-own-adventure rosé trail, a European-inspired sunset sessionfeaturing spritzes and nibbles, a picnic series on The Lawnand a sake flight tastingat Kiyomi.

Whether you’re a keen surfer or merely enjoy wistfully watching others get barrelled and daydream of one day having the skills (ahem, guilty), we reckon that both Category A and Category B kind of people will enjoy this new surf flick.
Filmmaker Justin Gane is a veteran of the Gold Coast surf scene and is now releasing his 12th film, RE-PULSE. Catch it at Mo’s this weekend.

We are loving all of the cheer this year, and a twilight Christmas market is the perfect way to get set for the season.
Expect to be met by more than 100 stalls offering everything you need for a very special Christmas indeed.
Plus, kidlets will love the rides, roaming characters and glittering lights, while the whole family can enjoy the delicious gourmet Christmas foods!

Sit back and enjoy some amazing live tunes from local legends while the whole family enjoys a Sunday session at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!
Dine on a selection of delicious bites and sip on a bevvy while the kids play and community gathers together.
Featuring a different musical act each week, the event will have a chilled out, family-friendly vibe, providing community members the opportunity to get together for food and drinks as the sun goes down while supporting local artists.

Head to Coolangatta and make a beeline for the Christmas Beach Shack at The Strand, which will run Christmas Crafts daily from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm until Friday December 24.
You can find the Christmas Beach Shack on The Strand’s ground level (near Truckloads and outside Just Sunnies) where the kidlets will be able to create free daily Christmas bags, stockings and Santas!

It’s back! Buckle up and grab the popcorn because your favourite Disney drive-in has returned for another season of fun.
The much-loved event is here for another round – it will pop-up at Carrara Sports Precinct Parking and is dedicated exclusively to Disney movies – huzzah! The flicks run almost nightly until Monday January 3.

Get set for some good ol’ fashioned fun this school holidays at HOTA’s Roller Rink!
Lace up the skates and bring your mates for a session in the sunshine. Roller Rink kicks off on December 10 and runs through until 23 January, as part of HOTA’s jam-packed summer series.
While you’re in the area, check out Dumpling Dreams in the Children’s Gallery or the free major exhibition Art Mixtape.
There’s plenty to do afterwards: enjoy some lawn games, cool off in The Big Sprinkler or simply sit back and watch the action with a coffee or refreshing bevvy from HOTA’s Pop-Up Bar.
