Learning Tokyo without witnessing at least a little of the Tokyo nightlife would not be possible. It became obvious a few days of arriving in Japan that Tokyo is a night town. In reality, in Tokyo at night there are even more things to do than in the daytime enjoying Japanese Netflix.

 

What is NIGHTLIFE LIKE TOKYO?

Spend a few days in Tokyo and as soon as the day goes to sleep you can see how anything comes to life.

Tokyo nightlife is lively and diverse.The signs get brighter, the streets get busier and the sounds get louder – while you can still hear yourself whispering, even now. Which, after all, is Japan.

Step into one of the several nightlife places in Tokyo and you'll no longer hear the whisper.

Tokyo is a city where everything goes behind closed doors and an open mind serves you well.

But no matter where you end up, you can be sure you 're in for a nice night-and maybe unpredictable.

 

WHY YOU DO TOKYO TO NIGHT EXPERIENCE

Through the day, there's so much to see, do, and simply soak up in Japan that you'll look forward to a good night's sleep coming sunset.

Japan is an experience with all five senses, and it can be as emotional as it is.

Yet missing out on the nightlife in Tokyo will be losing out on a large portion of Japanese history. In Tokyo at night there are so many different and interesting things to do and each will help you get to know this city a little bit more.

 

WHERE I AM TOKYO AT NIGHT

While there are plenty of things to do all over Tokyo at night, there are two main places that you shouldn't skip. Luckily both of them are next to each other!

By the day, Shibuya and Shinjuku are two of Tokyo's most popular districts, and the same goes for at night. Within those central areas you will find even more Best Love Hotels Tokyo after dark.

 

THAT IN SHINJUKU An NIGHT

Shinjuku is another district of Tokyo that is coming into its own once the sun goes down.

While there are countless restaurants, sushi bars and ramen houses to feed and entertain you during the day, there are endless things to do at night in Shinjuku (including all of the above).

Shinjuku Ramen is a nightlife centre, but it doesn't feel crowded from the late night shopping and shows, to the row after row of clubs and bars.

It's nowhere near as crazy as Shibuya but there's just as much to do at night in Shinjuku, and it's a perfect first call for both new and returning travelers.

TAKE A Ride OVERNIGHT

Although the nightlife in Tokyo could keep you entertained for months, if you intend to spend a week or more in Japan, spend at least one day exploring somewhere outside the city.

Or, even better, spend a whole night out of town.

Some of Tokyo’s best day trips do great 1-night trips as well – if you want to hang around for sunset or beat
