A contract can go from 1 day to 18 months, exceptionally 24 months. You can renew an interim contract once. Its maximum duration must remain less than the 18 months allowed by law. The temporary work contract must be for a fixed period. The worker is an employee of the interim agency.


What interim salary?
The salary paid to the temporary worker is equivalent to that of the person he is replacing or to his position level. The temporary worker also receives paid holiday allowances and receives an end-of-contract bonus equal to 10% of his gross remuneration.

What health coverage?
As an employee of the temporary work company, the temporary employee is attached to the general social security system. He can benefit from reimbursement of care for one year, in the event of illness or maternity, if he has:

Either worked at least 60 hours for a month or received a salary equivalent to 60 times the hourly minimum wage for a month.
Either worked at least 120 hours for 3 months or received a salary equivalent to 120 times the hourly minimum wage over 3 months.
Either worked at least 800 hours for 12 months or received a salary equivalent to 2,030 times the hourly minimum wage over 12 months.
