Today i'm going to discuss how to create a cloud with this beautiful white pampas grass that i've just received from triangle nurseries i'll take you through step by step how to do it um i haven't actually finished these yet these have just come out of the box they need time to fluff up we also need some hairspray because as you can see um they are losing um quite rapidly and so if you spur them with airspa that will stop it but i'm going to put them somewhere warm so they fluff up first and show you the other steps to get the ceiling ready for putting these in so what i've just done here is to take um just just an ordinary block of florist foam that you would use for most arrangements and i've wrapped some chicken wire around it now i have made um clouds with just chicken wire all together like that but i find that the block in the middle actually solidifies it otherwise you're having to find ways of of getting the um stems right the way through so that they don't fall out the other side so i have literally just cut the chicken right to size wrapped it around the block and then um just cut some string and i'm literally going to hang from either side from the ceiling and then this will be the basis that i will then put the different glasses into to make the cloud so now i'm going to show you how to to use this to make a pampers cloud that's going to hang over my dining room table and so here is the finished version it's actually quite simple to make obviously mine is quite um random in structure and you can choose um not to be more uniform but i quite like the rustic look of this made sure the color and shading was the how we wanted it throughout and that is your dried floral display complete DIY floral arrangements to use as decor or even for your picnics.
