This is usually caused by a run-down CMO battery, you can have the battery replaced and set the correct time and date on the system.
The system keeps restarting- When you encounter constant system updates, to locate the problem, check whether the Windows is installing updates, ensure that the system drivers are up to date, get a professional to give the system a thorough cleaning. Run an anti-virus check, and make sure that the fan is working, as a malfunctioning fan can cause the system to overheat and shut down.
