Preheat waffle iron in line with producer's instructions. In a small bowl, whisk milk and eggs; pour over flour mixture, and whisk gently to mix (do not overmix).
Gently whisk in butter. Prepare dinner waffles till deep brown and crisp. (For a wellknown waffle iron, pour a generous 1/2 cup of batter into center, spreading to
within half inch of edges, and near; waffle will cook in 2 to a few mins.) Serve heat, with maple syrup and butter, as preferred.
