Southland Tales. As in Tales from Southern California, but a various California, where Dwayne The Rock Johnson is an action star turned prophet, Justin Timberlake is a veteran of Iraq, Sean-William Scott is in fact a pair of twins, and Sarah Michelle-Gellar is a pornography star called Krysta Now. No-one rocks the cock like Krysta Now. Or two were informed. You never really see her rocking the dick, and she is more than welcome.

The movie does not try and pander to the type of audience who want to https://www.mutisite.com see a flash of tits. Really, it does not cater anyone. It is without a doubt and away the most speculative movie to come out of Hollywood just recently, if you discount David Lynch.

Of all, the movie version of Southland Tales is really chapters four, five and six. Hey if Star Wars did it The first 3 chapters are discovered in the Southland Tales graphic book, which in fact makes more sense in itself and of the movie as a whole, describing the different theories behind the film, whereas the movie itself drops the audience in the middle of a world that is far eliminated from the one we live in.

There is wi-fi energy called Fluid Karma, a movie script composed while under the influence of drugs that foretells the End Of Days, and some freaky time taking a trip. So, whatever you would anticipate from the brains behind Donnie Darko.

The movie is a mess, but an interesting one. Richard Kellys movie is trying to press this, using the graphic novel and the movies website to enhance the story and the perplexing plotlines within, quite literally forcing the audience to actively seek it out, or, as the majority of individuals did, stroll out of the movie theater.

While this cross-media, story/puzzle thing is a vibrant move, the film must base on its own legs, which, unfortunately, it does not. It's unusual and wonderful, bothersome and shocking, littered with great efficiencies and godawful ones. It will no doubt follow Darko in becoming a cult movie, particularly on DVD.

We do not recommend seeing this film, but you need to see it. It is the road less travelled.
