What is the UK scale-up visa?

 

A recently developed route to attract foreign talent and make it simple for businesses experiencing rapid expansion to hire qualified and skilled employees is the UK Scale-up visa.

Scale-up companies are defined as those with a three-year average annual revenue growth of 20 percent or a three-year average annual employment growth of 20 percent.

 

The requirements to be eligible for a UK Scale-up visa

The applicant must provide proof that they are at least 18 years old.

  5. Your name, information about your employment, and financial details must all be included on your Certificate of Sponsorship.

 

Immigration Skills Charge Requirement

 

For individuals applying for a UK Scale-up visa, sponsors are not obliged to pay the immigration skills charge.



What is the duration of the UK Scale-up visa?

Your UK Scale-up visa's validity is contingent upon whether your application is approved.

If your application is accepted based on sponsorship, you can obtain a Scale-up visa for two years.

The Scale-up visa is valid for three years if it is only issued based on your own application.
