February is the month when many people's thoughts shift to Valentine's Day.
Many nations throughout the world currently observe the holiday. And here are the top 05 venues to celebrate it, in my view... pearl qatar island
No. 5: BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA - Buenos Aires is a South American European metropolis. The streets are a continual, vibrant swirl of Latin American passion and la buena vida...and the streets are the live. Buenos Aires is a nonstop celebration of life, noise, and bustle. It is, of course, the birthplace of the tango, the world's most passionate, provocative, and downright sexual dance, which is performed both on the streets and in nightclubs. (There are also hundreds of studios where you may study it there.) Barbecue from South America (Argentine meat!) is popular, but so are a dozen other regional dishes. With massive sculptures and monuments, spacious boulevards, and avenues lined with sidewalk cafés, the architecture is a vibrant combination of European elegance and Spanish/South American Colonial. There are other vibrant communities, such as La Boca, the historic Italian part of Los Angeles.
No. 4: LANDS CREEK LOG CABINS, BRYSON CITY, NORTH CAROLINA, USA - A small bit of Paradise sits atop a mountain in the Great Smoky Mountains, above the gorgeous town of Bryson City. In February, Lands Creek is transformed into a snow paradise. These real cottages were constructed in a rustic design yet with all of the contemporary conveniences. They're warm and inviting, with fireplaces on the inside and hot tubs on the terrace. At night, swirls of dazzling stars splashed against a dark sky are accented by 100-foot-tall pine and oak trees. You'll be surrounded by wonderful products crafted by local craftsmen while you sit in front of a fire in the hearth. You'll fall asleep to the sounds of Lands Creek gushing underneath your stilted-cabin as you retire for the evening. You may also enjoy the snug restaurants and unique stores of Bryson City, which is now receiving an infusion of even more intriguing stores and restaurants, as you down the mountain (and where you can also take a romantic nighttime ride on the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad). Valentine's Day was designed for Lands Creek Log Cabins!
No. 3 - BEAVER CREEK, COLORADO, USA - PARK HYATT BEAVER CREEK RESORT & SPA - Consider a high-end, globally recognized hotel chain. Then place it in the heart of one of America's most gorgeous towns...which also happens to be home to one of the country's best ski slopes and one of the country's most magnificent natural surroundings. And then fill this lovely town with chic restaurants, boutiques, and galleries, as if it were a European village complete with a town square (or, in this instance, an ice rink!). The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek is surrounded by the ski slopes and is fronted by an Old-European village (where a chef from one of the restaurants strolls every afternoon with a platter of warm cookies for passers-by). You may practically ski into the hotel...and then have a sumptuous supper at the 8100 restaurant. After that, you and your special someone may enjoy some s'mores at the outside bonfire. After that, you may retreat to a nice room with a fireplace, of course.
PARIS, FRANCE - No. 2 The "City of Light" is also known as the "City of Love." Start your evening with a delicious supper at an intimate vintage café that you can access by taking a few steps down. After that, enjoy a leisurely stroll down the Seine with your lover, observing as the gorgeously lighted Bateau Mouche riverboat cruises past and gradually floats away into the distance. (Alternatively, you may dine with your partner on the Bateau Mouche!) After that, relax with a cup of coffee - or a glass of fine Burgundy - at one of the Left Bank's sidewalk cafés. You may stroll down the Champs Elysees, often regarded as the world's most beautiful (and stylish) street. The magnificent Eiffel Tower may be seen, all illuminated up, piercing a black-velvet sky beyond it. Paris is timeless, sublime, passionate, sensuous, turbulent, and evocative. For generations, it has been mesmerizing lovers.
And now, for my pick for the most romantic Valentine's Day trip on the planet...
No. 1: ST. MORITZ, GRAUBUNDEN, SWITZERLAND - What better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than at one of the world's top ski resorts? St. Moritz is known for its slopes...as well as its gastronomic delights and charming stores (Swiss chocolate!). Why not spend your time at an inn without Wi-Fi if you're searching for some quiet romance? The Hotel Restaurant Lej da Staz is St. Moritz's tiniest hotel and the definition of a romantic, stylish getaway. The 10 rooms are designed in a classic Swiss Alpine manner, and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. Alternatively, you may stay in the hotel where Swiss tourism began. In 1864, the legendary Kulm Hotel St. Moritz was the first to bring the winter "season" to the Alps. It's an opulent hideaway with a typical alpine décor and a long history. Alternatively, you may stay at the Paradiso Hut, a charming mountain inn...up here, they say, you're much closer to paradise. However, everywhere you go in St. Moritz, you'll discover a romantic atmosphere in a lovely Swiss mountain village...with fantastic restaurants, magnificent views, and the opportunity to spend Valentine's Day skiing!
So, those are my options. What about yours, though? We'd be delighted to hear from you. What are your top picks for a romantic trip on Valentine's Day?
