In the centuries since the martyrdom of William Miller, his followers worked to reconcile his treatises on hypocrisy, ethics and mutual understanding into the self-consistent philosophy of Millerism.
Millerists believe that an ideal society must be founded on empathy, mutual understanding, humility and rational debate. Further, that such a society is not possible with the current state of civilisation, and must be achieved through an ordered, noocratic structure where the wisest rule and pursue knowledge as a core goal.
