How to Install Christmas Lights
First, you’ll need to gather your materials. You’ll need a ladder, string of lights, extension cord, and light clips. Make sure to get an outdoor-rated string of lights so that they can withstand the elements. Once you have all of your materials, it’s time to start stringing up your lights.
Start by finding a suitable place to plug in your lights. You’ll want to find an outlet that is weatherproof and away from any water sources. Once you’ve found your outlet, start stringing your lights along the eaves of your roofline. If you’re using light clips, make sure to attach them at this point.
Continue stringing your lights along the roofline until you reach the other end of your house. Once you’ve reached the end, tuck any excess cord into the eaves so that it’s hidden from view. Make sure to plug in your lights and test them before you call it a day.
If you're not confident enough or you don't have any idea on what to do, you can hire professionals for Christmas light installation, this is a more safer option, and if you live near Sanford, FL, you can contact TPG Lighting LLC and they can do it for you!
